CHAPTER 6
Chloe's background was a bit complicated. Her father is one of the top aristocrats in the city. The Kinston family. They were very low-key and many people had no idea what they were like. Only the top three. The keystone family was the new fourth aristocrat. Asides from the rest of the three families, no one else knew what they look like. And even the head of the family, Darius Kinston was low-key and barely showed his face to the public.
Chloe was in a similar situation to Aurora, while Aurora's mother died, Chloe's mother left her father. Her father loved her so much that he could not get over her until recently. It was Chloe that nagged her father into getting him married. Chloe's new mother, was not harsh to her, frankly she treated her like a daughter unlike Vivienne. Chloe had a twin sister, but she was always abroad since they started college and didn't want to come home at all.
After hanging up the call from Aurora, she went to sit next to her father who glanced at her before resuming his work
"who was that?"
"my friend. She told me to say hi for her.'
"it's surprising that you can have friends with your introverted personality"
"Dad!!"
"what? I'm I lying?" Chloe said nothing to refute that. She was unlike her sister who was extroverted. But when she met Aurora, something drew her attention. How they were so alike yet so different. That was what made her make friends with Aurora. She was so happy that someone so talented was her friend. And right now, she felt so bad. She had a feeling that her friend needed her but she was stuck here in the hospital. She couldn't help her. If only Chloe new her friend was in danger because of a party…
