Chapter 1 - previous life

In his previous life, Ren had been a dominant Omega and the son of a countess. When Ren was ten, his mother remarried a duke after his father was assassinated by foreign enemies. From that day on, Ren was never the same.

The countess arranged for him to be adopted into the duke's family after the marriage, ensuring he would not inherit the title of count.

Countess Rachelle was selfish and materialistic, caring little for Ren because of his Omega traits. She gave all her lands to her new husband, the Duke of Lorraine, who had a son named Xavier, a dominant Alpha.

At the time, Ren and Xavier were both five years old. Despite the difference in family, they got along well. Ren accepted the situation, as long as the countess allowed him freedom, both professionally and personally. She agreed—but what Ren didn't know was that trusting his mother would be a grave mistake.

Five years later, Ren had grown into a handsome fifteen-year-old young man. Xavier had become the most handsome Alpha in all the territories and a great fighter. Now he was the commander of the royal army, and his father planned to pass the title of Duke to him.

But the countess had other intentions. Outwardly, she showed joy, but inside, she burned with anger. She wanted all the power and money for herself. The moment to act had come.

At night, footsteps echoed through the manor halls. The countess was heading toward her son's room. She paused at the door, taking a deep breath to calm her apprehension, then gently turned the handle and entered.

Ren, pretending to sleep—or perhaps truly asleep—did not move immediately. The countess stepped forward, then another, until she stood beside the bed.

"My dear… I came to see you," she said, her voice full of enthusiasm.

She placed a lantern on the dresser, brought a chair closer, and sat in silence, staring at Ren's sleeping face.

But Ren was not asleep; he had only closed his eyes. He could feel the countess's piercing gaze. Finally, he could no longer pretend and spoke, his voice cold and sharp:

"I am not your dear… what do you want, Countess?"

The countess feigned misunderstanding, admiring the freshly decorated corners of the room. Then she glanced at Ren and said:

"I don't have time for childish games, so I'll get straight to the point."

Ren clenched his fists.

*She doesn't even have time to talk to me*

"I brought medicine that can awaken your heat. You will take it obediently and go to the Duke's room," she said.

"Countess… you… you just said what?" His voice trembled slightly.

Ren felt his heart tighten.

The countess rolled her eyes and responded harshly:

"You heard me perfectly. Now get up!"

She grabbed Ren by the wrist and pulled him from the bed. Desperate, Ren begged her to stop.

"Countess! Please, don't do this!"

"Ren, do you think I brought you here for nothing? Think carefully—if you sleep with the Duke and the young Duke, we can bring them to justice!"

"The Duke? And the young Duke? I refuse!"

"I see… you leave me no choice. I will have to use force," the countess said.

She ordered the maids who had accompanied her to force Ren to drink the medicine.

Ren was on the verge of tears. He knew his mother did not love him, but he never imagined she could be so cruel. Should he let it happen? After all, he was just an Omega, a tool for the countess, powerless to resist.

"Stop! Fine, I'll drink the medicine, but under one condition," Ren said.

"What condition?"

"I will only make love with the young Duke. Otherwise, I won't drink it."

"Hm… fine, I see. Very well. Now do it," she agreed.

Lowering his green eyes, Ren snatched the medicine from the maid's hands and drank it. The countess, delighted, told him it would take effect in about fifteen minutes.

"What should I do now?" Ren asked.

"Nothing. Just go to the young Duke's room and lie on the bed," she said mockingly.

Ren clenched his fists and walked to the young Duke's room. Already, he felt a hint of excitement as he entered. A few minutes later, the young Duke, slightly drunk, opened the door and stepped inside.

The next morning, the countess had a massive outburst outside the young Duke's room, waking everyone.

"Oh my God, my son has lost his innocence! What am I going to do?"

After hearing that The Duke opened the door and saw the two young men entwined, still in the act. Surprised, he closed the door and dispersed the crowd.

"Enough! Everyone, clear out. There's nothing to see," said the Duke.

The crowd included maids, guards, and a few soldiers.

After this event, rumors spread about their family. They became the disgrace of the nobility. How could two brothers do such things? These are the kinds of rumors that are circulating.

But compared to what happened in the Duchy of Lorraine, it was nothing.
