Chapter 10 - DEADLY SEDUCTION.

"I deliberately didn't book a hotel for you," Bima said while looking at his phone.

"Hmmp, why does this happen to me when I go to Singapore? Shouldn't a hotel be booked for me?" Amelia looked at Rey, as if asking for an answer.

"We were threatened by your handsome-pretending uncle," Rey explained calmly.

"If you go to Singapore or Finland, he doesn't allow you to stay in a hotel."

Amelia smiled softly. She almost forgot about Nicky's house. Even without a hotel, she could stay at Nicky's place. In fact, Nicky's wife and children hoped Amelia would stay with them.

"Sorry, I almost forgot," Amelia said lightly.

"I've already transferred pocket money to your account. Go and enjoy yourself," Bima said as if giving an order.

"Thank you, sir," Amelia replied.

"It's almost nine. We should go to the airport," Rey suggested.

Amelia nodded. They walked toward the parking area. The office was completely quiet, like a graveyard. Only the office boys were cleaning the rooms one by one.

When they reached the parking area, Amelia's eyes caught sight of Santi passing by. Rey noticed her immediately and subtly stepped in front of Amelia, blocking her view. Bima became confused by Rey's reaction. Wasn't Rey a married man?

Bima also noticed Santi. Only then did he realize she was there. He understood the situation and quickly got into the car. At that moment, Santi was standing at the Trans bus stop, waiting to go home.

"Mr. Rey, has she left?" Amelia asked casually.

"She's waiting for the Trans bus," Rey replied, his eyes still watching Santi. "Has she attacked you lately?"

"Only when we meet. If we don't meet, nothing happens," Amelia answered honestly.

Bima stopped the car in front of the office. Rey moved quickly. He walked around the car and took the driver's seat so Bima could sit comfortably.

They left for the airport without Santi knowing. But when the car turned the corner, Amelia clearly saw Santi's messy appearance. It was pitiful, yet funny. Funny, yet pitiful.

BS Star Company was located in a very strategic area. In front of it were many street vendors and a Trans bus stop.

On the left was an elite school owned by Bima and his partners. On the right was a minimarket. A short turn led to a train station. It was easy to go anywhere from there.

The employees of BS Star Company were not spoiled workers. They usually came by bus or local train. Even so, Bima always gave extra transportation money.

"What's wrong with you, Rey? When that crazy girl showed up, you immediately shielded Amelia," Bima said suspiciously.

"I'll tell you everything someday. I'm also paid by Nicky to protect Amelia," Rey answered seriously.

Amelia was focused on studying the international shipping contract extension.

She ignored the conversation between the two men.

Before entering the battlefield, she chose to study so she could understand the risks ahead.

Bima began to feel suspicious about Amelia. What was really happening to that girl? He could sense that Amelia was carrying a heavy burden.

"Mel, when it's time to come home, call me first, okay?" Bima said, turning back.

"Why? Are you going to pick me up?

Actually, that's not necessary, sir," Amelia replied.

"I'll handle the plane," Bima said firmly.

"Oh," Amelia replied, still focused on her documents.

Among many employees, Amelia was the most diligent learner. The company's complicated cases often required her involvement. Sometimes her head hurt from thinking too much.

Was Bima cruel to Amelia? Not really. He simply knew how to see potential in people who could succeed. He could even give them golden opportunities to study again.

Bima could send them abroad to help branch companies. The salary would be very high, matching their dedication.

"Mel, how about going to Switzerland someday?" Bima suggested.

"To look for chocolate?" Amelia answered quickly, already understanding the contract context.

"Oh come on, whenever a woman hears Switzerland, she thinks about chocolate," Bima joked. "How about Paris?"

"Well, I plan to do my pre-wedding photos there with my future husband. Right under the Eiffel Tower," Amelia replied, making Bima rub his forehead.

Rey laughed quietly. The Eiffel Tower was indeed iconic and romantic. On the other hand, Bima's heart throbbed painfully. Not because of illness, but because he remembered his troubled marriage.

When they arrived at the airport, airport staff approached and guided them through the VIP check-in lane. Bima and Rey escorted Amelia all the way. Along the path to the apron, Amelia felt calm and safe.

At the apron, Bima's private plane was already parked. Bima gently pushed Amelia forward, telling her to board. Amelia smiled and walked up the stairs.

"Amelia, how long will you survive like this?" Rey asked silently in his heart.

At exactly 11 a.m., Bima's plane took off.

Bima and Rey decided to leave the airport. They walked casually.

Suddenly, Bima saw Martha arriving with their two children. He quickly pulled Rey aside to hide.

Rey was shocked when he realized it was Martha. She looked glamorous, like a Hollywood actress. Rey looked at Bima, silently asking for answers.

"Where is she going?" Rey asked seriously.

"I don't know," Bima replied. "She hasn't sent a message or called me for a week."

"Then why bring your children?" Rey asked again. "What's going on between you two? Are you at war?"

After Martha walked away, Bima led Rey out of the airport. He chose to stay silent and not explain anything. Rey respected his decision.

"Tell Lars to find out which plane Martha is flying on right now," Bima ordered. "I'll drive."

Rey had no choice but to comply. He contacted his IT team to gather information. Rey gave them one hour.

Bima drove toward a shopping center. He wanted to buy groceries to store in his office. Rey stayed silent, waiting for Lars' response.

Ping!

A notification appeared on Rey's phone. He opened it immediately and read Lars' report. Something felt very wrong.

"The plane you named Dark Angel is still in the hangar," Rey said. "For the past two months, it hasn't flown at all."

Bima suddenly stopped the car. He was truly shocked. That plane belonged to him and was assigned to Martha. Why wasn't she using it?

"Are you serious?" Bima asked, trying to stay calm.

"Lars confirmed it directly with Mr. Han," Rey replied. "Mr. Han hasn't flown at all for the past two months."

"So Mr. Han has been unemployed this whole time?" Bima asked again.

"Yes. He only comes to the hangar to maintain the plane and stays on standby, waiting for orders," Rey answered.

"Then whose plane has Martha been using?" Bima asked quietly, fully aware that something was very wrong.
