Chapter 14 - SANTI’S PREMONITION.

"What I heard is that she is a housewife who takes care of four children. On top of that, she manages three orphanages in Jakarta," Bima answered while remembering Ida's work.

"You are very wrong. Yes, she does all of that. But do you know who Bu Ida really is? Let me explain it clearly. She is a former world-famous model. Her beauty could destroy men in her time. Including Burhan. She is also not from an ordinary family. Her father was a former police general. Right now, she owns many boutiques spread across Indonesia and Southeast Asia," Rey explained.

Bima's eyes widened. He started to feel respect and admiration for Bu Ida. He stayed silent for a moment while staring at Rey.

"Have you already collected all of Burhan's crimes?" Bima asked seriously.

"Yes. And honestly, I was shocked. It turns out Burhan has many scandals that were deliberately hidden from the public. What is even worse, he often used escort services with young girls, including Santi," Rey added.

"Are you planning to expose those scandals?" Rey asked again.

"He did not stop Santi from attacking Amelia. So it is only fair if I do all of this," Bima said while choosing to protect Amelia.

"And one more thing, Burhan's company is actually on the edge of collapse. All of it is because of his own actions. Next Monday there will be a massive protest in front of his company," Rey continued.

"Okay. So revenge has begun," Bima said as he clenched his fist, wanting to hit someone that very night.

They fell silent for a moment. Even though Bima was usually easygoing and joked with his employees, his aura could be terrifying. Many companies had fallen because of him when his people were attacked without reason.

"So, have you found Martha?" Bima asked while grabbing a can of soft drink.

"Martha is in Spain. To be exact, she is in Madrid. She deliberately took your children there," Rey answered.

"But it is not school holiday yet, right?" Bima became suspicious of Martha's behavior.

"I don't know," Rey replied while shrugging.

Rey truly did not know why Martha took the children to Madrid. There was no announcement from the government about school holidays yet. Bima decided that he would go there.

"You should not go to the underworld first. I want you to take care of this company. I am going there with Amelia," Bima ordered Rey for the next morning.

"Damn, this guy. Why so sudden? And why do you bring Amelia with you?" Rey became suspicious.

Bima deliberately invited Amelia to go with him to Europe to handle business matters. He knew he really needed Amelia's presence. In fact, the European trip was scheduled two weeks later.

"There are three clients I must meet. The schedule was for two weeks later, but I will move it forward and spy on Martha," Bima explained.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed? You bring Amelia to handle this? There are many male employees here," Rey warned him.

Bima drank his soft drink and then put the can on the table. He knew exactly why he chose Amelia.

If he chose someone else, it would be obvious to the employees that Martha was hiding something.

"I chose Amelia because she is safe. She rarely talks to other employees. I know her value is very high. She prefers to stay quiet and focus on her work," Bima said.

"Okay," Rey replied.

Amelia was indeed quiet and understood the rhythm of life around her. She preferred to focus on her own life. In truth, she knew many bad things about people, but she only smiled and did not care.

Meanwhile, at Amelia's house, Nilam had just parked her car. She did not know that Amelia was not at home. But Nilam already had a plan. Tonight's plan was to torture Amelia so she would give up the house certificate.

"Where are you going, Mel?" Nilam asked inside her heart.

Nilam deliberately threw her handbag carelessly. She did not care if it fell to the floor. If Amelia were there, Nilam would have screamed loudly so Amelia would pick it up.

Nilam walked toward the backyard. Before going there, she saw Santi's bedroom door open. She went inside and saw Santi.

"Hey, wake up," Nilam said harshly.

Santi, who was sleeping deeply, opened her eyes and quickly sat up. Nilam also sat down in front of her.

"What is it, Mom?" Santi asked.

"Is Amelia in her room?" Nilam asked sharply.

"I don't know," Santi replied.

"What about Dina?" Nilam asked again.

"Maybe she is selling herself to rich men," Santi answered carelessly.

Nilam rubbed her face roughly. She also did not know where Dina was. Then she looked at Santi again.

"Where is your father?" Nilam asked.

"How would I know? Dad is already an adult. He can eat by himself. He can do everything by himself. Why should I worry?" Santi did not care about her father at all.

Nilam only shook her head and smiled. Her smile looked like someone who had just won a lottery.

"Listen, Mama has a plan," Nilam said.

"What plan?" Santi asked seriously.

"This house is Amelia's asset. The selling price is still very high. I think we deserve this house more than Amelia," Nilam explained.

"That makes sense. What should we do?" Santi asked.

"Oh yes, one more thing, Amelia's company too," Nilam added. "We should just kill her. After that, we make it look like she was hit by a container truck at the harbor."

"That sounds cool, Mom," Santi said.

What was cool about it? A murder plan was called cool by Santi. She had no idea who Amelia really was. She did not know that Amelia's uncle was a very powerful man.

Before looking for Amelia, Nilam changed her clothes. After that, she took Santi to the backyard. They believed that at this hour Amelia would already be asleep. So they thought they could carry out their plan easily.

When they reached the backyard, they saw that the garden lights were off. They knew that if the lights were off, it meant Amelia was not there. Nilam clenched her fists in anger.

"Where is that girl?" Nilam growled.

"If the garden lights are off, it means she is not here. There is no way she is sleeping at this hour," Santi said suspiciously.

Santi turned on the garden lights. As expected, Amelia's room was dark. Santi walked closer and tried to open it.

"She is not here, Mom!" Santi shouted.

Of course they were angry. Nilam was afraid that Amelia had run away from the house. It was clear that Amelia was the one who supported the household. Without Amelia, they would not be able to enjoy their comfortable life.

"My feeling says Amelia ran away," Santi said.

"What?" Nilam suddenly screamed like a ghost.

They were in panic. They could not extort Amelia anymore. They could not eat well at home. Especially Santi, whose entire life depended on Amelia.

"What about my allowance if Burhan stops giving money?" Santi said in shock and confusion.
