"She's here... time for fun."
"Let me enjoy some small benefits."

Before the maid could react, Tom gently hugged her.

What was that? she thought, her cheeks started blushing. Hero Tom never acts so... close, he really likes me.
She felt her pulse increase as she put a hand to her chest. She felt a mixture of concern and flattery.
Is he okay? Or planning something? I must tell the Commander.
She bit her lip with teeth, loyal duty winning over the strange warmth. Straightening her uniform, she walked faster toward the Main Hall room.
I need to stay alert and watch him closer now... She suddenly remembered that huge, no I have to watch him from away.
Her eyes narrowed with resolve.

Next Morning – Commander Darius's Office
Sunlight comes inside through the windows. The Commander takes sipped bitter tea and flips through work reports.
A knock echoed—sharp and urgent.
A soldier burst into the office, his face pale, helmet under his arm. Sweat beaded on his brow.
"Sir!" he blurted, voice tight with fear. "We found a dead body. In the training center."
"What!" The Commander shot up, chair scraping loud. His eyes bulged and tea spilled hot on his hand. This shock hit like ice water.
This place protect by Knights and mages. We made sure they were safe while here for training but now this happened…demons already take action. This may be the work of a spy to break the fighting spirit of heroes. He thought about it.
"Where's the body?" he barked, voice rough.
"Near the students' living area, sir," the soldier said quickly, standing stiffly.
"Did the Heroes find it?" The Commander leaned in and his fists clenched white.
"No, sir. Our patrol did."
The Commander's face darkened, mind racing wild. Oh God... what mess is this?
Commander Darius Ironfist standup from his chair.
His shoes make sound against the marble floor as he walked down the long hallway in hurry.
"Make a way!" he shouted who was standing in his way pushing past startled soldiers and staff.
His face burned red because how could someone do this in his presence, his heart beating wildly with fear and urgency.
Several soldiers followed behind him with swords drawn.
They soon reached the place where the dead body had been found near Students living section.
The corpse lay twisted on the ground.
It looked like something had devoured him from the inside.
Skin was dry and pale. The body was thin, almost empty, like all strength had been sucked away.
Commander Darius knelt beside the corpse, his expression dark and serious.
He raised one hand over the wound.
A faint blue light glowed around his fingers as he checked the mana traces.
"No demon energy," he whispered, brow furrowing deep. "Not human either."
The air was filled with strange—twisted, hungry. As if the life force and mana had been completely drained from the body.
"What...?" His voice trembled slightly fear. "Someone stole his energy. Gulped it whole."
He stood slow, stomach turning. Soldiers stared, whispers spreading.
"This mana... it's wrong." Cold sweat beaded on his neck. What kind of thing he face yesterday.
"he shouted.
"Seal this area!"
"Question everyone — even the heroes!"
"Find who did this!"
The soldiers rushed to follow his orders.
Commander Darius hurried back to his office.
He slammed the door to closed.
He walked towards the table, he quickly grabbed a pen and paper.
He started writing a letter very fast.
His face was tense and serious expression.
When he finished writting letter the candles in the room flickered.
A shadow slowly rose from the corner of the room.
A man formed inside the darkness.
His face could not be seen.
Only his shining eyes were visible.
Commander Darius handed over letter to him.
"Give this to the Emperor. Immediately."
The shadow man nodded silently.
In the blink, he was vanished into the air.
The room became quiet again.
But danger was already inside the Training centre.
