WE GREET THE LORD...]
The voice of the system that should have been monotone, almost sounded revered as if praying. It was strange.
However what Anaerah didn't knew was, that she wasn't the only one who listened to this announcement of the system. No, every single being who had a system right now, had listened to it's voice.
Yes, that voice and message was listened and seen by all who had been connected to it. That also means that whole Arcania had listened to it.
"Huh?" Anaerah was stupified, never ever she had expected, something like this even in her visions. It was almost as if even her visions, the visions of fate... couldn't show anything related to this boy.
The whole chamber trembled, cracks starting to appear in the dark halls as the shockwave and the lack of mana weakened it like a straw's husk.
[Your Soul Bond has been awakened.]
Zyrus's eyes opened, for a moment they remained half lidded as if experiencing the burst of power in his whole being. Then they turned to her.
Anaerah froze. Her eyes widening slightly.
Beautiful.... Dangerous..
These two words came to her mind like the tempting whispers of devil calling her to drown herself in ruin.
Those eyes...those eyes that had been dulled and dead before right now, they looked like the forbidden gems that a person was only allowed to see from afar.
As, the tri coloured blend of gold, white and blue played brightly in his amethyst eyes, it felt as if her soul was being laid bare, prompting for him to see what secrets she hid.
And yes, to some extent that was true.
Right now, Zyrus was seeing something that no newly awakened human should have been able to see.
It was the different energies.
Yes, Zyrus vision exploded with a plethora of variant shade's of colours that just floated in the air unanimously playing there.
It was mana...and it was -
Before, he could see more a searing sting hit his brain making him winced slightly. As he shook his head lightly, his vision returned to normal.
"Ah what?" Confused, he blinked not being able to understand what had happened moments before.
It felt like, he was seeing at something forbidden.
Turning his head, towards Anaerah he watched her standing frozen as the whole chamber shook and more cracks appeared in it.
"Ah, Anaerah?" He called out.
"Huh. Wh-what?" Anaerah flinched listening to his voice.
"Are you alright?" He asked tilting his head slightly.
"Y-yes, i am fine." She said stuttering slightly as she massaged her temples, like she was having a headache.
"Hm, okay." Zyrus stood up, and for a moment he looked at his palm as if feeling the power coursing through it.
He had succeeded.
He has awakened and right now he could feel the huge amount of mana stored in his core and flowing through his body.
Just then, the system returned to normal also chimed.
[The Chamber will be destroyed in 30 seconds and both host's will be teleported back to where they were before coming in the chamber.]
"The Broken Carriage!" Both chimed in at the same time.
"Hehe." Zyrus grinned brightly as he listened to the system.
"Why are you laughing like that?" Anaerah asked looking at the evil grin he had on his mouth.
"Well, i have taken this body of his, so I should atleast take original Calix's revenge, right?" He said as a stone different from the previous one came into his head.
As Zyrus moved his mana through the stone, it broke and the voice of system once again came into his mind.

*****
In the dark forest, with the sole illumination of pale moonlight. Shadows moved swiftly as people moved swiftly.
"Boss, we couldn't find them." A lanky man with a black mask and a black hood covering his whole face said.
He was Derek.
He was one of the three men who sat at the front of the carriage carrying kidnapped children.
"Yes, we have searched everywhere, however we couldn't find them. It's almost as if they had been vanished into thin air." The other one said.
He was Adam
"..." The Boss, a man with a scar on his right eye kept quiet for a moment.
He right now was boiling.
Just because of two children, they had change their path multiple times to not get caught by Duke's soldiers that searched for them like some hounds.
"Damn it. If not for the orders we could have been out of here. Search more, go even in the forest. Even if they used some teleportation artificat they couldn't have gone that far." He barked roughly.
He was confident in it, because they had installed a mana devouring device in the carriage thus even if they use some kind of artifact they probably couldn't have much mana to supply to it.
Of course, if that goddamn daughter of the Duke don't have one which operated without mana.
Minutes passed, as twelve man with black hoods and masks searched the whole area vicinity around the carriage into the forest, however even after checking everything they couldn't find the duo.
The Boss himself searched and yet he couldn't find a trace.
As all the man returned back, near the carriage they didn't go near the their boss. They could instinctively tell it, the man was seething.
"Goddamn it." Punching the tree and breaking it into splinters the Boss of the carriage cursed angrily.
Then, he took out something from his pocket and moved away from the group for a moment.
Adam and Derek watched, as their boss's face darkened beneath the hood. He had removed his mask.
"Look's like the upper ones are not happy." Derek said to Adam.
"Well, we have lost the allocated target after getting our hands on her, of course it makes sense that they are angry." Adam replied.
"Sir A-Adam." One of their man called out.
"What is it?" Adam asked.
"S-sir, our...our three people had gone missing."
