Chapter 10 - 0010

2:15

Jin gasps—shudders—writhes beneath Rael's body as the world dissolves into sensation. Every movement is fire. Every breath, a plea. He claws at Rael's back, pulling him closer, deeper, *needing* more.

"R-Rael…" he chokes out between broken breaths. "I can't—I feel like I'm… burning…"

And Rael *knows*.

He feels it too—the heat that shouldn't exist, the pulse between them that thrums with something beyond desire.

But he doesn't stop.

He kisses Jin hard—swallowing his cries—as he moves with slow, deliberate thrusts that make Jin whimper and arch off the bed.

> "Then burn with me," Rael growls against his lips.

> "Let me take you where only we exist."

Outside—the wind howls.

A flicker of shadow passes across the window.

Watching.

Waiting.

But inside?

Two hearts beat as one…

and deep within their veins—

something *older* begins to stir.

---

2:17

Jin's breath comes in ragged gasps, his body trembling under Rael's relentless rhythm. He can't think—can't speak—only *feel*. Every nerve is on fire, every pulse point singing with sensation.

His fingers dig into Rael's back, legs wrapping around his waist as if he could fuse their bodies together.

"Don't let go," he pleads into the dark—voice shattered. "Please… don't ever let me go…"

Rael's answer is a growl low in his throat.

He leans down, mouth at Jin's ear—one hand sliding up to tangle in his hair—and pulls just enough to make him gasp.

> "I'll *ruin* anyone who tries to take you."

> "I'd burn the world before I lose you again."

And as if answering that vow—

a pulse ripples through the room.

Not from them.

From *somewhere else*.

The air turns cold for half a second.

The shadows along the wall twist unnaturally.

Then stillness returns…

as though something just *inhaled* their desire… and smiled.

---

2:20

Fear flashes through Jin's eyes, even in the midst of this moment. He knows that feeling—that cold, quiet *watching* that only comes when something else is listening.

But then Rael's hands are on him—gentle now—pulling him back to the present. He cups Jin's face in one hand, tilting his face up so their eyes meet.

> "Look at me," he murmurs, voice rough with *need*, but tender too. "Forget it all. Just feel me. *Us*."

2:21

Jin nods, breathing hard—forcing his focus back to Rael. To the heat of his skin, the strength of his hands, the way he says *"us"* like it's an unbreakable law.

Rael kisses him again—slow, deep, anchoring.

He shifts slightly, changing the angle—and Jin gasps sharply as *something* deeper is hit. His back arches off the bed; fingers clutch at Rael's arms like he might float away.

> "God—Rael—!"

A dark thrill runs through Rael at that sound. He does it again—deliberate this time—and Jin moans long and low into his shoulder.

Outside—the wind dies.

The storm holds its breath.

Even the shadows pause… watching closely now.

But inside?

Two souls burn brighter than any dark could take.

---

2:30

Jin's gasping, trying to find the right words to express what he feels. But there aren't enough to sum it up—the heat in the air, the way the world falls away to nothing but the two of them.

He looks up at Rael, eyes glazed with *need* that has nothing to do with the physical.

> "I love you," he whispers, voice shaking. "I love you so damn much it hurts…"

Rael leans down, forehead resting against his.

> "I know."

2:32

Rael's voice drops—low, raw, trembling with something deeper than desire.

> "Because I love you… *too much*."

He shifts again, slow and deep, making Jin gasp into the quiet. Their breaths come in tangled rhythm now—hot skin pressed together, hearts pounding as one.

> "So if the world tries to take you…"

Another thrust—gentle but *insistent*, possessive.

> "…I'll drag it into ruin just to keep you."

Jin whimpers—a sound so sweet it almost breaks Rael.

And then—

a faint whisper slips through the cracked window…

not wind.

not rain.

but a voice—soft as shadow:

> **"Good…"**

> **"Let love blind you."**

> **"It makes the fall… so much sweeter."**

But neither hears it.

They're too lost in each other…

too far gone…

to notice that their passion isn't just theirs anymore.

---

2:35

The room feels heavier now—air thick, charged. Rael finally slows, breath ragged against Jin's skin as he collapses gently to the side, pulling Jin with him in one fluid motion.

They lie entwined—sweat-slicked and trembling—Jin's head on Rael's chest, listening to the wild drum of his heart.

No words for a long moment.

Just breath.

Just warmth.

Just *them*.

Then Jin shifts slightly, fingers tracing idle circles over Rael's collarbone.

> "Do you think… we'll ever be safe?"

Rael stiffens almost imperceptibly. His hand tightens around Jin's waist.

> "No," he says quietly. Honestly.

> "But I don't care."

He tilts Jin's chin up so their eyes meet in the dim light—gray against gold-brown—and there's fire behind his gaze again.

> "As long as I have you? I'll burn every enemy myself."

> "Even if it costs me everything."

2:40

Jin holds that gaze, searching deep in his eyes for any sign of uncertainty, but there isn't any.

Rael means every word.

He means every *promise*…

And it makes Jin's heart ache.

> "You can't do everything alone," he whispers—half-soft plea, half-desperate vow. "Don't throw yourself into fire for me… not like this. We fight together, remember?"

But Rael just laughs softly, fingers tracing the soft skin of his hip.

> "And you think I

2:42

> "You can tell me to stop, and I will," Rael promises quietly. "You know that. But if the only way to keep you safe... is to burn the world down around us…"

He kisses his collarbone, lips gentle, eyes glittering.

> "I'll do whatever's *necessary."*

Jin knows that look.

He's *seen* that fire.

And it makes something in his chest flutter—a strange tangle of fear and love.

> "Damn you," he whispers between labored breaths. "Damn you

2:45

Rael laughs again—a rough, ragged sound. He rolls, pinning Jin beneath him again, body hard against his like a shield.

His hand slides up, tangling in his hair—fingers clenched just *painful* enough to make him gasp. He leans down, voice a whisper at his ear, like a secret.

> "You don't mean that," he murmurs, lips at his throat. "You love me."

And Jin can't breathe.

He can't fight.

He can only kiss him.

2:48

Rael groans, a deep, guttural sound of absolute *want*. He pulls back just enough to look at Jin—taking in the way his hair's a tangled mess, the flush across his skin, the glassy look in his eyes—then kisses him again, *harder* this time, like he's trying to devour him. His hands clutch at Jin's body, mapping every inch, claiming him over again.

And despite earlier…

despite being so *sated*…

he feels that heat building *again*.

So fast. Now
