The atmosphere became more intense, dead silence like a hollow space, fear crept down the shoulder of the civilians on the scene. The High Ends stand cohesively.
" Something tells me he is just feigning to be weak, that attack on him was a total debacle" says the second High End has made a battle stance the moment he caught the glance of the Sojourner standing up.
The first High End raised up his hand. It glows red, instantly the atmosphere begins to heat up like the sun has been overturned and poured down to Earth.
"You know the plan, but remember one thing, regardless of the situation, stick to it and don't blow the gaff ! " said the first High as he charged towards the direction of the Sojourner with intense heat that emitted from his hands.
The Sojourner is seen to have created a green fire from his hand and made a battle stance. The three High Ends charge at him all at once. The female High End, The heat blast user (he is also the referred as the first High End) and the speed user High End.
The first High End with the heat ability launches a fire blast towards the Sojourner, a blast that incinerates every obstacle in its paths, and in an instant it explodes right in the Sojourner's face. Then the High Ends pull back a little bit to prove that the blast was a success.
" Did it work ? " The speed using High End asked as he examined the explosion scene from afar.
The female High End charges towards the explosion scene in speed with her two swords.
" You snooze you loose , we have to put a lid on him ! "
Then the other two High Ends followed her, they all charged towards the explosion in hyper speed. In an instant two fire ball lunches out of the explosion and headed towards the direction of the first High End, he disintegrated it with his heat ability, while the speed using High End charges further, increasing his speed tenfold.
" I can't seem to find him, he is attacking us from a blindspot ! " Says the speed using High End as he dashes around the explosion scene, trying to fish out the Sojourner.
The female High End leaps to the air with an incredible force that cause a dent on the surface, looking straight into the explosion from an overhead view, then she makes a grin on her face.
" My concupiscence to end you is quite uncanny" she launches towards the inner part of the wild burning flame with a sword pointed towards the direction of the surface. Then she swings the sword, which causes a strong wind that blows the flames off for a minute, enough for her to unveil the Sojourner flame camouflage.
The female High End swings her sword at the Sojourner who tried to launch a fire ball towards her, but the female High End speed outmatched his, the sword slashes through the intangible body of the Sojourner and then vanishes like a hologram. The female High End widened her eyes as a sign of shock and surprise.
" Was this a trap, or was that really a hologram? " She thought to herself as she was trying to figure out her next move.
In a second a figure appeared behind her, he placed his hand on her shoulder slowly as a sign of dominance, she froze in fear, knowing she had been cornered.
"Checkmate " he said slowly as he held her neck from behind and his hand began to emit green flame, with the intent of burning her to crisp.
Fortunately for her, the first High End came just in time, as he tanked the Sojourner with one side of his shoulder, and grabbed the female the Sojourner's grip. The Sojourner is seen staggering a few feet away from the scene and then a kick landed on his left cheek with an insane force that sends him a mile away crashing into a building, causing it to disrupt. And it turns out to be the speed using High End.
" You've got two more pieces to deal with " says the speed using High End looking at the direction the Sojourner was sent to.

MEANWHILE AT ZONE 9
While all this chaos unfolds, I was still at Zone 9, dealing with my own issues. But, I was still left with a question that burns within me and needs an answer desperately, which is ; If the Sojourner has power, and he is a human, wouldn't that make him a High End ? Now, why would a High End betray Zephyron when he knows how outmatched he is, regardless of his abilities, I am certain that there are High Ends that their abilities are beyond his. Didn't he know that this mission is a nail in the coffin for him ?
I can't seem to find an answer to these questions but something tells me I'll get my answers as time goes on- which is something is something I don't have. While dealing with this. I am still in my hiding place. While the High Ends ransack the Zone.
Well, according to my source, the Sojourner is still having a tough time dealing with the three High End, so if anything goes wrong here, we are all on our own, well, technically we've been on our own for a while now. . . but you get what I mean right ? and the Order Organization surely won't risk exposing themselves to the High End when they surely know they can't contain them yet.
In an instant, I can't fully make out what was going on but it sure did. Like a High End lost his temper, he created a metallic blade with his and stabbed a civilian in the chest. Killed a few civilians too. I couldn't bear the sight of the gory scene. Then I felt a strong touch on my shoulder, so strong that it could possibly break my collar bone. . . That smell ! I recognized it ! wait . . . Oh boy , Is that a High End behind me ! ! !
Before I could gather my thoughts together, I already see myself in the mid air, then crash on a muddy stagnant water, all the paper in my messenger bag is scattered and soaked in the mud pond. This got the attention of three more High Ends, and they approached me. The High End that fished me out from my hiding spot held me by the neck and lifted me up, he tightened his grip on my neck, like a stag under a lion's ferocious paw, I already knew I was a goner.
I've imagined several ways of dying and trust me, this was surely not part of them. The stench of his was really toxic, it made my stomach grumble. The way I see it, he seems to be a man in his late 40s but looks a lot like he is in his late 50s.
"Look who we have here, an espionage , eh ? " His British accent makes it scarier, I couldn't really see much. After my crash landing, hitted my head on a stone, blood covered my face and everything was more of a blur, it felt like I needed to pass out.
He tossed me a few yards away and I crashed on some pile of rocks, boy ! I was praying for death to come as quickly as possible. I could see some of the civilians looking at me, their faces showing sympathy, knowing I'm a dead man. I couldn't feel much. It was like I'm paralyzed, motionless , my breath was heavy, my heart raced a thousand miles per second…. Wait, is that a panic attack ? cause I don't think I've heard one before . A strong force hit my head, apparently the High Ends aren't done with me yet. He brought out a dagger from his sheath that was hung around his waist. I was surrounded. Then there was a blinding light that struck the entire place and thick fog covered the entire atmosphere.
The whole place was destroyed, but then I passed out. The entire area is seen on fire . The civilians were seen taking the chance to run for their lives. The voices of the High Ends were heard screaming in pain, the sound of sword slashing through flesh was heard underneath. The sound of lighting buzzing through the atmosphere.
The atmosphere became clearer, then the body of the High Ends were seen decapitated, some were stabbed with a metallic rod. No one could explain what happened .Soon I woke up beside a burning corpse of a High End, I got up briskly, I looked around, wondering what happened. Could the Sojourner have come to my rescue once more ?
Meanwhile at the Order Organization….
A tech expert is seen talking to Dexter, which seems like they've been watching the entire event unfold.
"Sir, we lost sight of what happened. Whatever crashes in that Zone must have disrupted the service, but we got footage of something " the tech Expert explained as he pointed to a figure in cloak in the middle of a lightning strike.
Dexter moves closer to the screen to confirm what it was, "wait is that the Sojourner ?"
"I highly doubt that sir, the Sojourner is still battling the three High Ends at Zone 10 sir" the tech expert answered
"Then who the hell is this ? a High End ?" Dexter asked in silence that shows concern .
