The news of the dead High End traveled faster than expected, it appears the Sojourner is always at our beck and and call but despite this, most people still thinks he is at cross purposes of The Order organization. As good as the news might sounds, this also means we all are as good as dead, the first High End to be taken down, incase you don't know what this means, High End are one of the highest rank warrior of Zephyron, despite the fact that they are humans that betrayed their race. He sees them as one of his best trophies. Some High End possesses power that are greater than Correctors.
The death of this High End turns out to be a sweet sorrow for us, we are always the one to suffer the victory of the Sojourner, we still find it suiting that one of them has been eliminated again. The source of the news is always anonymous, The Correctors knows nothing about the existence of the Order organization. This allows the Order organization to operate behind the close doors .
More High Ends were dispatch to different Zones and they were more ruthless than before, they tear down buildings, kill more innocent lives and enslave more humans. The victory of the death of an High End came at the cost of our little but no peace.
Meanwhile, at the Order organization, different scientists were studying the body structure of the first specimen of High End they've ever gotten. And every single one of them seems puzzled and surprised. Then a man called Austin approached the scientists.
" What have you been able to gather from the body" He asked .
" Well, it's fascinating how this body structure still looks like human's in a physical form, but the inner structures has been altered to accommodate the abilities they were given, same as the Corrector, but only this time with more advanced host " The Scientist explained.
" From the videotape that we just watch, the Sojourner, as they call him. He killed this High End and save those humans, could it be ?...." A scientist explain in curiosity, but was cut off by another Agent from the association, called Andrew.
".... That he is on our side, we can't be too sure of that— just because he saved those human doesn't automatically make him our knight in shining armor, everybody have their reason for doing things" Agent. Andrew shared is opinion.
" It might be that saving them is just a means to an end, he had to do it considering the situation? But what do you have to say about the second picture from Zone 5, where he dragged a human into his portal ? " Another Scientist asked .
"For all we know, that human might be dead now, we didn't see the entire scene, just a blurry picture of him dragging him into the portal " Agent. Andrew corrected the Scientist.
While all of this was going on. The head of The Order organization walks in, "Emmanuel Dexter". There was a short silence the moment he walked in, then he cut the silence by contributing to the discussion.
" You've all said well, but for now we can only work with what we have at our disposal he saved the humans at the recent incident scene, he took the human away from the scene in Zone 5 before killing those Correctors. I'd like to consider him an ally, we've not been able to get any upper hand in this battle for a several decades now, but someone is finally powerful enough to shake the Corrector to a corner of fear , let worry about his agendas later " Dexter explained . Then in a brief moment, an alarm sounded and the whole room turned red.
"Code red, that means .." said the scientist and cut off by Agent. Andrew "...Another violent activity has been sighted " said Agent. Andrew as he draw out a gun from the side pocket of his trouser. "You've got to stop cutting me off when I'm talking! ! ! " Said the scientist as he pointed a scalpel at Agt. Andrew
Meanwhile outside the organization, at Zone 10, three High Ends are seen, standing on a rock that seems to be above the level of a building. Few humans could be seen standing before them. And some Correctors are seen among them too. While one of the High End held a human by the neck.
"You all seems to be pleased by the demise of our fellow brethren , I wonder if you'll feel the same for yours too " said the High End as he tighten his grip on the human's neck while the rest were trembling in fear.
Then a female High End took a silent step forward and draw out a sword that could slit a rock into two. Fear crept under everybody's skin like a bug. The situation kept everyone at death's door. The death of the High End really got us at loose end.
While this was going on, the hostage was killed. Everyone gasped in fear, and then The third High End which appears to be a man also, but not with much muscular physique, sped towards the midst of the human. Then move towards he Corrector who seems to be quite.
" Search the entire area, see if there is anyone hiding, bring them out, if you see anything strange, report immediately" The High End gave an order to the Corrector, and he obeyed without reluctance.
The first High End who is still at the top of the rock— lifted a car and threw it at the remaining humans. While car was still in the mid air and everyone still in abyss of conundrum of what will become their fate, a portal opened and the car hurled into it. And appeared behind the High End that threw the car which hits him and send him crashing on the floor. The three High End, made a battle stance, signaling to each other to be guarded. The Correctors too, did the same, leaving everyone one of them in a midst of paranoia.
Then like a shower the blood that gushes out of the Corrector's beheaded neck rained on us, covering everyone's body with the blood of their predator. The High Ends were surprised by the speed of the Sojourner. The he was seen standing on the rock . The High Ends gaze upon his presence, the hostage expression could be easily understood as a sign of peace.
"You sure love to make an entrance, don't you ? " Said the first High End.
No response was given, the female High End leap in the mid air and charges towards the Sojourner, but he opened a portal and she fell right inside. The portal appeared about two hundred feet away from the surface, she took a free fall, she landed skillfully on the surface with her sword. A grin was seen on her face as she stares at the Sojourner.
" We must have bet on the wrong horse to think you are of a good heart, that's not how to treat a lady" she says as she positioned her sword towards his direction. The third High End with super speed dashes towards him in a speed of sound and landed several punches on him. Landed a kick on his chest— before he could gain back his balance the first High End landed a sudden blow that the impact sent him a mile away from the scene. The three High Ends are seen standing side by side. With a smile on their face.
"So you are the savior huh ?" . Said the first High End.
