. The tension raises, the stakes are high, if they fail, they'll have to answer to Zephyron, which is actually the most terrifying part of it, so they had to put everything into it, it seems like they are not getting anywhere with this, the Sojourner seems to be having hard time as well. There was silence, only the sparks of the burning flames of the ruins and the tension of the atmosphere that was holding them tight on the throat.
" Your aplomb nature is quite fascinating, knowing fully well that you're outmatched, how long do you think you can keep this going ? " Says the female High End, in a scornful tone. She charges towards the Sojourner at an incredible speed with her sword, then leapt to the mid air and threw her right hand sword towards the Sojourner, but he seems not to have any trouble dodging it.
Out of nowhere the first High End aim a punch at him, but he it was almost as if the Sojourner could predict their move. He held the first High End's hand tightly and hits him on the face with his kneel and threw him at the female Sojourner who is the mid air. They both collided and crashed on the surface causing a damage to the surface. The speed using High End wanted no time and charges towards him in speed, he was able to land several blows in different area of the body, this seems to be his only advantage he has. But then, the Sojourner look closely for a while and then stopped him on his track by opening a portal in front of him, and he race right inside the portal, he opened the portal in front of a large rock, the High End collided with the rock in a lightning speed which cause the rock to crack and he was also knocked out.
"One down, two to go… who's next" one could sense a sinister grin under that hold as he said it, which makes it more terrifying.

Meanwhile, in a place called Vormirem….
You see, Vormirem is a place I forgot to mention during my first log entry, so now, I'd advise you to pay close attention to what I'm about to explain.
Alright, Vormirem is not just a place, it's a very large and tall tower, infact, it is currently the tallest building on Earth right now, built with the technology of the Correctors — by those who were enslaved by the Correctors, during the early days of the invasion. You might be wondering what this building is for. One of the major uses will be stated now. As you know, we now have High Ends, the humans that pledge allegiance to Zephyron, and they now possess supernatural abilities. Some of the highest rank High Ends are being placed in Vormirem as the one in charge of running the affairs of the world. You could as well refer to them as the current government in the world now, apart from the Order organization.
Basically, the higher the floor, the higher their powers and ranks, you see the highest floor in Vormirem has one of the craziest High Ends, that's where you see High Ends that can manipulate reality, manipulate time, precognition and so many other powers that are insane, they can even possess more than one abilities, some had three, some had four. But basically I think the highest is five. Yes, I think, it's not exactly like I kept their diary ? What I meant is, we don't have much info on them, anything that deals with top rank warriors like that is always confidential or sealed.
One more thing though, apart from the High Ends that stay in the highest floor of Vormirem, there are still some High Ends that are called Celestial Ends. This type of High Ends, you don't want to mess with them, trust me. They have abilities that even I don't know how to describe yet. They are one of Zephyron's most loyal armies. Well, don't go too far in asking me if these things are confidential, then how did I get all this info. That's because during the early days of High End manifestation, most of them were still around, showing their powers and taking charge of Earth in order to prove to Zephyron how dedicated they are. Right before some of them were taken to higher levels like Vormirem.
You see that of Zephyron's armies, I'm talking about the Correctors, they have Correctors that are almost as powerful as Celestial Ends too. But we know nothing of those kinds of Correctors. Apart from the lackeys that are roaming the street.
Well, that's about the High End and the power level we have for now. There is definitely more to it, but that's all I know about the power systems for now. Back to Vormirem, you might be thinking, apart from the High Ends that work there, what's it used for. One of them is execution. They execute rebels well. The Correctors could always execute them before taking them to Vormirem, but taking a rebel to Vormirem instead of personal execution could only mean there is more to the rebel. Either he has information that interests them, or they want to persuade him into joining the High Ends.
Moreover, if there is any update or information that Zephyron himself needs to pass across the globe, he passes it through the High Ends in Vormirem.
So any High End you see roaming the street, they are still lackeys, the main aim for every High End is to be in Vormirem. High Ends are not the only ones that stay in Vormirem, Correctors also stay in Vormirem. They also rank according to the floor they are stationed on. Much like High Ends. Just know, High Ends doesn't necessarily have to be more powerful than Correctors, they can be more powerful than each other, depending. What I mean is, because they stay on the same floor doesn't mean they have the same power limit.
Now, in case you wonder where Zephyron stays, well, everyone guesses that he stays in the sky. There is a massive space ship in the sky, that the clouds have covered, that's where he stays, including the Celestial Ends too.
That's all I know about the power rankings and what not. Right now, we are currently in a flying spaceship, we're being taken to Vormirem. Now you see why I have to explain to you what's going on, so you won't be surprised when you see me peeing on my body when we get there. Cause I'm scared as hell right now.
Every single one that witnessed what happened in Zone 9, were taken to Vormirem for questioning, before execution. And I know I'll be executed because I'm not ready to pledge allegiance to any Zephyron !
"Hey kid , what's on your mind ? " An elderly man in his late 80s asked with a smile on his face.
Who is this man, I thought to myself, trust me, your ancient mind can't fathom what I'm currently processing in my mind right now.
"Hey kid ! Are you there ? " The man persisted and waved at him.
" Hiiii" he responded reluctantly with a face that says you're stressing me out. As he placed his head on the metallic body of the ship that shakes and vibrates constantly as a sign of movement.
" I am Grant, what's your name ? "With a smile on his face, Grant stretched out his hand to him.
I might have responded well to him, cause it doesn't seems to be ready to let me be on my own.
" Hi, I'm Aiden, " Aiden responded with a faint smile on his face.
"Aiden ? That's my grandfather's name ! Grant exclaimed,which caught the attention of the rest of the captives in the ship, and their reaction doesn't really show they are happy, and he shouldn't be happy about anything. Considering their current situation.
Oh great ! I'm about to be executed and I have to be worried about bearing the same name with someone's grandpa, that I didn't even expect him to have a grandpa.
" Nice " Aiden responded silently and lacked interest. His facial expression could tell that he is not interested in the conversation.
"Alright, you fools should prepare yourself, cause if you think we're tough, you should meet the judges at the twentieth floor " a High End voice was heard from the other side of the ship through a speaker.
Vormirem has a total of three hundred floors. But with what the High End are saying, we are probably going to the twentieth floor.
And we finally arrived at Vormirem, it appears fate is closer than we think. My raced like it's about to jump off my chest. But I still can't deny the feeling that this is my chance to get more information about these people. Something the Order organization never could, even with their resources.

MEANWHILE, BACK TO SOJOURNER…
The Sojourner is seen dodging some blows from the first High End, and also trying to defend himself against the female I High End. She swings her sword at the Sojourner in immense speed and with serious energy. One might say they are getting desperate. The Sojourner could also sense this, but they don't seem to be giving him any opening, and despite the fact that they are getting desperate doesn't mean they are getting exhausted either.
Like a hungry predator, that would anything to pounce on it prey to prevent it from escaping, he increased his speed, moved beyond what a normal eye could see, in blink of an eye, like a phantom in a dark room, he appeared behind the first High End, without hesitation, he landed a blow on his face which sent him flying at some building.
The female High End charged towards him in almost equal speed, but he stopped her in the mid air, by holding are neck, she seems quite surprised, because he is still in one spot, then she realized that he opened a portal and put his end inside, giving him the advantage of holding her neck in the mid air through the portal.
With the hope of using that to her advantage, she raised her sword to chop off his arm that was extended through the portal, the moment the sword is few inches away, something hits her on the cheek, it was his kneel, this sends her flying in the mid air , about hundreds of feet away from the surface, like a rocket, the force of the collision lunches are far into the sky.
"How did he get so fast ? " She wondered as she was being launched to the clouds trying to gain a balance.
"You are so concerned about offense and forgot about your defense" the Sojourner mumbled with a slight chuckle. Then uses a portal to teleport himself in the mid air towards the direction of the female High End.
Unexpectedly, he collided with a nuclear blast in mid air. That causes a thunderous sound, the wind of the nuclear blast aftermath blew some buildings off, as a result of how strong the explosion is.
" Got ya , don't turn your back on your enemy you sucker ! " He said he made a grin, with his hand raised up.
The female High End is seen crashing on a building, causing the entire building to crash down, as a result of massive crash landing. The first High End dashed towards the scene, only to see flat dead on the ground. His eyes burnt with flame as he his anger grew, in seconds he became a consuming fire, as he turned his back to his the Sojourner who is still trying to stand up, he could see him coughing out blood, the explosion took a toll on him.
" Hadn't managed to escape that blast with my portal at the last second, I could have been as good as dead, despite that, most of the explosion managed go through the portal, I don't think I can go much further, I must end this quick " the Sojourner thought to himself as he emits green flame from his hand. Which is shaking as a result of exhaustion.
The first High End approaches him slowly as his body is filled with burning flame, he is about fifty yards away from the Sojourner yet, the heat makes it feels like the sun is being placed about fifty yards away from him, almost everything in the vicinity were melted into liquid.
" You've reached the end of the road " the first High End said as he molded a spear from his flame.
