Battler Organization issued a global alert.
"UNKNOWN ANTI-BATTLER ENTITY CONFIRMED."
Kenji's team was summoned.
Chairman Mock stood before them, posture heavy.
"You are no longer just battlers," he said.
"You are targets."
Ryo smirked. "Figures."
Aiko looked at Kenji.
"They're hunting you… because of Baran."
Kenji didn't deny it.
"Yes," he said.
"And if you want to leave—"
Ryo interrupted. "Shut up."
Toya smiled. "Too late to back out."
Aiko nodded. "We survive together."
For the first time—
Kenji bowed his head slightly.
"Then I'll lead," he said.
"And I won't let any of you die."
That night—
Kenji dreamed.
A throne of shadows.
A king without a face.
Come, the voice echoed.
Or I will come to you.
Kenji woke up sweating, flames flickering around his hand—mixed with darkness.
Far away—
The Shadow King rose from his seat.
"Prepare the stage," he commanded.
"Tokyo falls next."
