Inside the Tokyo Main Branch, Chairman Mock stood silently.
"This is no longer a localized incident," he said.
"This is war."
Antares swallowed hard.
"Should we release the V-Ranks?"
Mock closed his eyes for a moment.
"…Yes."
Across Tokyo—
A presence exploded.
On a shattered bridge, Mr. Kawaki stepped forward.
The ground cracked beneath his feet.
"Finally," he muttered. "A fight worth moving for."
Elsewhere, flames twisted the air as Mr. Kurul adjusted his gloves.
"Demon King's servants," he smiled thinly.
"Let's see how many burn."
The strongest Battlers of Japan had entered the field.
Kenji didn't know any of this.
He only knew pain.
His body was trembling as he stumbled through an alley, blood dripping from his side.
Every breath burned.
Baran's voice was tense now.
"Your body is reaching its limit."
Kenji laughed weakly.
"Then… I'll break it."
Another monster appeared.
Then another.
Kenji raised his sword—
And collapsed.
The blade hit the ground with a dull clang.
The fire went out.
