Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Against the Nature

In the Himalayas it is the completely silence under daylight and there peaks blanketed under endless snow. Deep within a cave 10 sadhus (Sage) wearing saffron dhoti sitting in meditation.

They were seated in a semicircle before their spiritual master, Maharshi Devadatta, who sat facing them on a stone āsana carved into the cave floor. He was the oldest among them, with long white hair and a flowing white beard. His eyes were closed, his presence calm and commanding.

Among the disciples 5 had white hair age and appeared to be above the age of fifty. Three of them had grey hair around 35 or older and remaining 2 with black hair were between 20-35 years of age. All of them except the Spiritual Master open the eyes almost the same time. They all are looking serious.

"This environment has changed in the last few minutes… hasn't it?" Young disciple in a worry tone.

"Yes, Somebody has played with the laws of nature." reply by adult disciple.

"That's not right. Shouldn't someone need to stop it?" Another Young Sadhu .

"It can be stop only by the one who started it." Adult disciple responded regretfully.

"Then what now?" Youngest one.

"Remain quiet and wait for the Spiritual Master to open his eyes." Senior Most in the disciples

After a few minutes, the Maharshi opened his eyes, and all of the sadhus leaned forward eagerly, waiting to hear his words.

Maharshi (Spiritual Master) with calm but heavy voice, "My disciples you have already realised that a yajna is performed which affects the law of nature." Breathe heavily....

"There is something worst, the mistake was made during the yajna. I believe, the sadhu who performed it is aware of this. Yet I sense that he will not going to stop the consequence of this yajna by himself, therefore I am going there by myself to meet that sadhu personally.

Maharshi stand with a yoga danda in his left hand and kamandalu in his right hand.

All disciples, "We will also come with you."

Maharshi replied gently, "No, You must continue your tapasya. I will go alone."

"But we can not live you alone." Senior disciple who voice was filled with concern.

Spiritual Master see there disciples eyes and understood there feelings. "Ok, Only Ramdas will come with me."

(Ramdas is the youngest in all of them having black hair.)

With that, the Maharshi left the cave, followed by his disciple Ramdas, filled with convection to stop, which should not be started.
