Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: On the shore

River is flowing swiftly. Many people have gathered on the shore of the śmaśāna, where the dead are cremated. The sun was covered with black clouds and the wind is strong. The ashes of the dead swirl in the wind, taking on the shapes of human beings. The bright is emanating from all the bodies of ash. The environment start changing. Suddenly, the sun emerges, the wind dies down, and the river flows normally. The light coming from ash bodies disappears. They are many peoples standing like a statue without any movement in bodies or eyes. There is a screaming sound everywhere. The people flee in fear, some falling to the ground, others too paralyzed by fear to move.

Now there is some movement in the body. First they move there neck like they are doing neck exercise, then blink there eyes and then seeing and moving there hands. There are looking confused. There were seeing there surroundings and we could listen murmuring sound of them. They are saying "What is happening? Are we alive?" Some are saying "Where is my family?" A few remember being in a hospital bed, but now they are here. They start moving and asking others what is happening. They are requesting for help. All the other persons are in fear and they are just running away from that places leaving there all belongings behind.

"My son! Aananda you come back to life!" the sadhu who eyes was filled with tear of happiness

" Yes, I remember now. I left my body. But how I am alive now?" Aananda was confused

"I have done this. I have done austerities & sacrifices for many years for you, My son!"

"What? What you have done father?" Aananda was worried.

He moved away and placed his hand against a wooden pillar inside the hut, his body was trembling

"Why? Why you have done this?"

"Why are you worried, my son? You don't need to worry. You are my son."

Ananda was stunned, "No, father! I don't believe you are saying this. You are great yogi." "You know that going against the nature rule is dangerous!." A fear feature conscious was in his voice.

"Don't say such silly thing. I know the consequences, but nothing matters more than you." Sadhu with an anger tone.

Aananda falls silent, but his face betrays his fear and worry. He know this sacrifice will not be easy. He and his father would have to carry this heavy weight.
