Blood of Kamio – Chapter 4
War
Atomic suddenly became much faster. In a blink, he killed that Kamiora with a single slash. Before Onoki, Maro, and the Kamiora could even see him move, Atomic had already reached his target.
With rapid strikes, Atomic cut the Kamiora's body apart. His childish behavior was completely gone.
Onoki was shocked and deeply frightened.
It was the most brutal death Maro had ever witnessed.
After killing the Kamiora, Atomic started moving toward someone else.
Onoki shouted,
"Atomic, where are you going?"
Atomic replied calmly,
"To fight for the village and win the war."
Onoki tried to follow him, but Atomic was far too fast, and Onoki quickly lost sight of him.
Then Maro came closer to Onoki.
Maro: "Hey, Onoki."
Onoki: "You were the first examiner, right?"
Maro: "Yes. During Atomic's qualification exam, I sensed a hidden power inside him. It felt exactly like the power of the masked Kamiora."
Onoki was stunned.
"The masked Kamiora? The hero who sealed the monster fifteen years ago?"
Maro: "Yes."
On the other side…
The leader of the Blue Kamio Village spoke firmly,
"Everyone, act according to the plan."
Several Kamioras wearing red clothes moved toward the center of the village. Four Kamioras dressed in black went in different directions—one to the east, one to the west, one to the south, and one to the north.
The Kamioras in red released their Kamio power. Bright light rose from their bodies into the sky. Soon after, the Kamioras in black did the same.
The Kamioras of the Light Kamio Village realized that an extremely powerful Kamio technique was being prepared to destroy their village.
At that moment, Atomic arrived.
Atomic asked,
"What's going on?"
Kamioma was shocked when he saw Atomic's eyes.
He whispered to himself,
"So this is Atomic… the child from that day. He has grown up. It seems he has unlocked that power."
Kamioma spoke quickly,
"They are trying to release a massive Kamio attack to destroy our village. Atomic, you've become stronger. We only need to stop one of them. If we do that, their plan will fail."
Atomic asked,
"How do you know my name?"
Kamioma replied,
"I'll explain later. For now, come with me."
Atomic nodded.
"Okay."
Kamioma and Atomic moved toward the Kamiora in black stationed in the east.
Together, they stopped him from releasing his power. The other Kamioras of blue kamio vilage immediately sensed that something was wrong.
Two Kamioras who had been waiting as backup rushed toward them.
Kamioma: "Atomic, with your new power, you can defeat them. Take care of those two Kamioras."
Atomic: "Understood."
Atomic entered his aura form once again. Seeing his presence, the two Kamioras became terrified.
One of them formed a Kamio energy ball and launched it toward Atomic. Atomic dodged it effortlessly and, using his speed, struck him down. Moments later, he defeated the second Kamiora as well.
It was easy for him.
At the same time, Kamioma of the Light Kamio Village defeated the Kamiora in black.
The remaining Kamioras sensed that one of their power sources was gone. They realized their plan had failed.
The leader of the Blue Kamio Village shouted,
"Start Plan B!"
Several Kamioras combined their powers and created a Kamio gate.
From the gate, five Kamioras wearing strange masks emerged.
First masked Kamiora: "Looks like they failed."
Second masked Kamiora: "As usual, they're useless. We'll handle it ourselves."
One of the masked Kamioras created a powerful barrier around all the Kamioras of the Blue Kamio Village.
They began releasing their power.
Suddenly, a blinding light appeared. Kamioma instantly understood what was about to happen.
Using his Kamio power, he formed a shield around the people of the village.
A massive explosion followed.
When the light faded, the Light Kamio Village was completely destroyed.
