Blood of Kamio – Chapter 9
Granno shouted,
"Everyone, run! We can't hurt the Kamioras of Hat Kamio Village!"
Everyone started running.
The Kamioras who could use long-range Kamio techniques began attacking, while those who specialized in short-range techniques rushed forward to catch them.
Onoki and the others used their Kamio techniques to block and destroy the attacks.
During their training, they had learned how to run faster using Kamio power.
To do this, they needed to transfer their full-body Kamio energy into their legs, which allowed them to move at incredible speed.
They used the technique and ran quickly. After some time, they hid in a safe place.
Onoki said,
"Guys, I need to tell you something important."
Reimer asked,
"What is it?"
Onoki replied,
"The Kamio technique the enemy is using is a secret technique of our Light Kamio Village."
Everyone shouted together,
"What?!"
Onoki said,
"It's true."
Kazuma asked,
"How do you know that?"
Onoki replied,
"When the Blue Kamio Village attacked the Light Village, they tried to steal our secret book. But Kamioma and we stopped them."
Everyone looked shocked and asked,
"You fought there too?"
Onoki answered,
"Yes. That's when Kamioma told us about this technique."
Reimer said,
"We should send a message to Kamioma."
Otsu added,
"Yes. Mui, you know the Kamio Message Technique. Use it and contact Kamioma."
The Kamio Message Technique is a special ability used by Kamioras to send messages. To use it, they must catch a bird and apply the technique to it. The bird then delivers the message.
Mui said,
"Okay, I'm sending the message now."
Mui sent the message to kamioma.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps. Some Kamioras were approaching, and they were being controlled.
Everyone became silent.
The Kamioras found them and used a Kamio technique. With that technique, they suddenly disappeared.
Everyone wondered why they left without attacking.
Onoki thought to himself,
"This teleportation technique is the same as the one used by the Kamioras of the Blue Kamio Village."
Suddenly, three Kamioras appeared. They were wearing black clothes.
Everyone immediately realized that they were members of Blood of Kamio.
Garo asked,
"How do you know about our secret technique?"
The first Kamiora replied,
"Which technique?"
Reimer said,
"The technique used to control others."
The second Kamiora smiled and said,
"Oh, that technique. Well, the truth is—"
On Kamioma's Side
Kamioma had received the message.
Reo, Kamioma's assistant, asked,
"How did they learn our secret technique?"
Kamioma replied,
"This technique is—"
On Hat Kamio Village's Side
The second Kamiora continued,
"—this technique is not your village's secret technique."
Back to Kamioma
Kamioma said,
"—not our secret technique."
Reo was shocked and asked,
"Then what is it?"
Kamioma answered seriously,
"Someone has created a technique similar to ours. Whoever created it must be extremely powerful… maybe even stronger than me."
