Chapter 5 - Lisa Harris, II

She goes to the kitchen, turns on the microwave, and waits for the timer to zero. Then, she takes the food out. The house turns blue again for a few moments, but everything returns to normal, and Lisa seems not to have noticed it. Lisa sits on the sofa and says:

— Alexa, turn on the TV to Meteflix. Right now!

— Answered the pre-programmed artificial intelligence on the TV.

Lisa watches a movie while eating dinner, until she feels her cell phone vibrating in her pocket. She takes it out and unlocks it with her fingerprint, pressing a button on the back of the phone. It was a message from John.

— "Hey, little boxer! Did you get home?"

— That's what John's message said.

Lisa starts typing:

— "I'm home, I just got here, and the microwave food is delicious" — Lisa.

— "Save some for me, last time I came home late you had eaten the whole fridge, but at least it was the veggies."

— "I didn't leave anything, lol"

— "When you have your own house you'll wish you hadn't devoured everything in front of you."

— "Hahaha"

— "I have to get back to work. See you later! Dad loves you"

— Oh my god, dad...

Lisa puts the phone back in her pocket and continues eating. After finishing, she goes to the kitchen again, with the plate in hand, along with the utensils she used. In the kitchen, there's a wooden door with a lock, which is unlocked. Lisa says:

— Alexa, turn on the backyard lights.

And Alexa turns on the lights outside, and then she opens the door and puts the plate in the sink.

After that, Lisa returns to the living room, continues watching the movie until she falls asleep.

Some hours later, a man arrives home; he was wearing a blue dress shirt, along with a red tie and loose black pants. He sees Lisa asleep on the sofa and the TV on; then he turns off the TV manually and picks her up by the arms, heading to her room and putting her in bed. And after putting her there, he smiles on his face and approaches, kneeling down to kiss her forehead; then leaves her room.

The next day, Lisa wakes up and starts stretching, getting out of bed slowly. And she sees she was wearing the same clothes from yesterday and goes straight to the closet to change. Leaving the closet, she was wearing a white casual shirt and common jeans shorts. She sits on the chair in her room, seeing in front of her a desk supporting her notebook, and she turns it on. And after turning it on, Lisa sees the date and it was a Friday, a holiday to commemorate the anniversary of this small and sparsely populated city. Lisa feels happier for not having to go to school and also not having to train, since the holiday also includes workers, obviously. And then Lisa starts typing the password to unlock her notebook...

Something happens; she sees everything in a bluish tone again and everything turns upside down. She starts falling, to the ceiling? That's right; the girl is very confused, as she was lost about the events. And then she tries to get up after this fall and, after getting up, she looks up and sees the floor. And then looks down and sees she was stepping on the ceiling. She gets more and more confused, already starting to feel cold. She walks out of the room and sees the living room the same way her room was, the kitchen the same way, and, among others, until she decides to leave the house. And when she leaves, she starts falling because there's nowhere to step on. And the whole world returns to normal.

Lisa starts breathing heavily; she looks at her hands and they're sweaty. She couldn't see, but her face was pale; the pupils of her eyes were trembling as if she had suffered a great trauma, and so she shivers. Slowly, she checks her body to see if there's nothing there, and she starts to feel something on her back. She tries to put her hands on her back and feels something alive there, moving. It was something furry and scratchy; which seemed to be stuck to her. She runs inside the house and takes off her shirt, and something jumps off her back. She looks around quickly and hears something on the roof. She starts looking up slowly and sees a spider, half a meter tall. Lisa is paralyzed with the creature she just saw. Her brain was still processing everything she had seen. The spider, then, starts leaving the house through the open door. Lisa was still stunned by what she had seen, and she was in shock, questioning if what she saw was real or not. If that reality was true or a lie? If it was just a thing of her mind or if what she had seen was real? But it was certain that: that was something that couldn't be described.
