Chapter 141 - Chapter 142 Selling?

Hearing Finney's words, Thor was so angry he didn't know what to say. He could only glare at Finney angrily and say, "Even if you win like this, it's not honorable." "

It doesn't matter, I just want the result."

Finney didn't care. All he wanted was for the system to recognize him as the winner and give him more experience. Whether it was honorable or not, he would consider that after he got his seventh skill.

"Hurry up and admit you lost!"

Finney urged again. This time, he teleported to the same place as last time, so the hammer should fly back soon.

  "I won't!"

  Thor stubbornly shook his head.

"Is Mjolnir less important to you than admitting defeat?" Finney said to Thor in a persuasive manner, "Have you forgotten what happened last time when it no longer recognized you?"

"Be careful it gets sad and abandons you again!"

Thor hesitated. Having experienced being abandoned once, he was really worried about this happening. However, his lack of intelligence made him forget that it was mainly because of Odin.

Ultimately, Thor, eager to find Loki but also worried about damaging his hammer, gave in.

  "I lost!"

Thor muttered under his breath, clenching his fist. He had suffered defeats before, but never one as humiliating as this.

  "Hmm!"

Feeling the experience points gained, Finney, hidden beneath his mask, beamed. Just as he was about to say something, the whooshing sound came again.

  "The hammer!"

This time, Thor warily watched Finney first, then deliberately made Mjolnir veer before returning it to his hand.

Retrieving the hammer, Thor examined it carefully, making sure there were no problems or damage, before gripping it tightly. He frowned and asked Finney, "Are you from Midgard?"

  "The real deal!"

Finney nodded, landing on the ground. "We're here for Loki too. Someone's in charge of this; you can ask him for information first."

If it weren't for the previous battle, Thor definitely wouldn't have paid any attention to Finney's words.

But after witnessing Finney's strength, things were different. Besides, this wasn't Asgard after all, and he felt he had grown and couldn't be as reckless as before.

"Is it that guy you call President?"

Thor seemed to have thought of something and asked Finney.

"Uh, no, it's someone named Nick. Also, President is a title, not a name."

Finney shook his head helplessly, afraid that Thor would ask something else, and said, "Anyway, come with me first."

While taking Thor back to the carrier, Finney also reported into his headset: "Alright, mission accomplished perfectly. I'm now taking Thor back."

Everyone on the carrier was speechless, especially Captain America. He felt he had misjudged him, and because of Stark, he was even starting to have some opinions about Finney.

"You didn't need to fight at all,"

Captain America couldn't help but complain. But before Finney could answer, Tony, who had just returned to the carrier and deactivated his armor, frowned and said, "We don't have your eloquence, Captain!? And he attacked first."

Captain America and Tony seemed to be arguing about this. Finney, not wanting to listen, simply turned off his headset. He had no intention of joining the Avengers anyway; let them argue however they wanted.

Arriving on the cloaked carrier, Thor looked surprised and couldn't help but compare, "We Asgard also have large spaceships, bigger than this."

  "For sale?"

  Finney asked, turning his head.

  "What?"

  Thor didn't immediately understand.

"Do you sell your Asgardian spaceships?"

  Finney repeated.

"Uh..." Thor scratched his head. Although he was a prince, how would he know if spaceships were for sale? He could only honestly say, "I usually use the Rainbow Bridge to travel, so I'm not sure about the price of spaceships."

  "Okay!"

Finney shrugged, not paying much attention.

Upon entering the carrier, Nick Fury greeted Thor immediately.

"Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and also the person in charge here!"

Looking at Nick Fury, Thor carefully examined him, especially his eyepatch-covered eye, and then suddenly asked, "Are you stronger than those two?"

Nick Fury was taken aback, his outstretched hand somewhat awkwardly, but he still honestly said, "I probably couldn't withstand one punch from either of them!"

"Then why are you the person in charge!?"

  Thor looked surprised.

"Because we don't elect leaders here by force." Finney released his 'ghostly possession' and rolled his eyes as he explained for Nick Fury.

Hearing Finney's words, Thor glanced at Nick Fury, then nodded as if suddenly understanding, grasped Nick Fury's hand, and said,

  "Thor Odinson, from Asgard."

The others also stepped forward to introduce themselves to Thor, and soon it was Finney's turn.

  "Finney Hellscythe, Earthling, professional sorcerer!"

Looking at Finney, Thor was still somewhat annoyed by the previous battle, but since this wasn't his own territory, he could only feign bravado:

"Loki also knows a lot of magic, but not as powerful as yours. However, my mother's magic is definitely stronger than yours; she's the greatest sorcerer of the Nine Realms."

Finney pursed his lips, not refuting. He believed Thor's mother's magic was strong, and Loki's dagger proficiency was likely inherited from her, but the claim of being the greatest sorcerer of the Nine Realms was a bit far-fetched.

This clearly showed she didn't take the Ancient One seriously!

However, Finney guessed that this title was just something they used among themselves, or perhaps they had subdivided the profession of mage, for example, you might be a sorcerer, and I might be a wizard or witch. Calling him the "Number One Wizard of the Nine Realms" would be fine; he could even call himself the "Number One Explosive Mage of the Nine Realms!"

After the introductions, Thor began to state his purpose.

"Loki is dangerous, I must capture him as soon as possible. Heimdall saw him making contact with the Chitauri, and I think he might lead them to attack Earth."

"Oh, by the way, the Chitauri don't belong to Asgard or any other planet; they often accept mercenary incursions into other planets in space."

Thor, worried that Finney and the others might not understand, specifically explained the Chitauri, distancing themselves from Asgard.

"Did Asgard only send you alone?"

  Nick Fury asked Thor.

"The Rainbow Bridge is broken, and chaos reigns throughout the Nine Realms. Asgard simply can't spare any manpower."

Finney glanced at Thor, convinced that Odin must have told him this, likely to keep Thor busy and prevent him from dealing with his love affairs on Earth.

If it weren't for Loki's unexpected appearance, Odin probably wouldn't have allowed Thor to come to Earth for a long time.

"Your brother Loki is in that country down there. He's somehow taken control of it, and we're discussing how to deal with him."

Nick Fury looked at Thor and asked, "Do you have any suggestions?"

  "Suggestions?"

Thor was taken aback, unconsciously swinging his hammer. "Why not just fight him?"
