"Stark, don't do anything reckless!"
Nick Fury's voice came through the earpiece immediately.
Captain America followed suit, saying, "Helsey, tell Stark to stop attacking! We should talk to Thor first!"
Hearing this, Finney rolled his eyes and replied dismissively, "Right away, right away!"
Though he said this, Finney had no intention of stopping him. He also wanted to see how much Tony's strength had improved since they last met.
In Asgard, few people could remain rational in the face of battle. In most cases, they would choose to recklessly charge in. If they won, everything he said was law; if they lost, then they could sit down and talk things over.
Thor was the most typical Asgardian.
Even though he knew his mission was to find Loki first, he still resolutely chose to fight when faced with Tony's attack. Fighting was more fun than fighting a younger brother.
Of course, the most fun was probably fighting a younger brother.
Although not the brightest, Thor's strength was undeniable. Even though his true divine power hadn't awakened, years of battles, coupled with his Mjolnir, were enough to defeat most enemies.
Facing Tony's energy cannon, Thor chose to take it head-on. His armor, crafted by the dwarves and imbued with Asgardian magic, meant he was largely unharmed after taking the hit.
While Mjolnir could carry him, the direct, airborne approach wasn't ideal for aerial combat, so Thor decided to get Tony to the ground first.
He swiftly ascended, Mjolnir in hand, and as Tony attacked, Thor suddenly accelerated, charging headlong into Tony through the energy cannon.
Caught off guard, Tony was struck squarely, and the two plummeted into the mountains.
Watching the two fight, Finney shook his head speechlessly in the air. Currently, Tony was slightly stronger than before, but only to a limited extent. The enhanced firepower of Mark 7 couldn't inflict much damage on Thor.
A few blows from Mjolnir might severely damage his armor.
In terms of strength and defense, Thor was almost equal to him in his armor; this was why Asgardians were called gods—their physiques were naturally powerful.
Seeing Tony starting to struggle, Finney stopped watching and prepared to join the fight. Just as Thor threw the hammer to stop Tony from taking off to adjust, Finney instantly opened a portal in the hammer's flight path, teleporting it tens of thousands of meters away.
Let the hammer fly for a while!
He would have found this difficult before, but with the growth of his 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' and his insights from the Space Stone's teleportation, his portal abilities had improved rapidly, allowing him to succeed.
Where's the hammer?!
Thor was stunned when his beloved hammer disappeared. He quickly reached out to recall it, but it didn't appear for a long time, and he flew into a rage.
"Where did you put my hammer?"
"It's probably homesick!"
Tony also saw the portal. Although he felt a little embarrassed by Finney's help, it wasn't the first time he'd been humiliated in front of Finney, and he was used to it.
He was now somewhat relieved that he hadn't let JARVIS connect to the carrier's computer and broadcast the battle live.
However, he didn't know that Nick Fury hadn't forgotten that a bunch of small unmanned cameras had come out with them.
Therefore, the scene of him being brutally beaten had already been seen by everyone on the carrier, but everyone was so shocked by Thor's power that they didn't have time to say anything.
Thor was clearly enraged at losing his hammer; crackling electricity crackled around him. Startled, Finney rushed to his side, explaining, "Your hammer isn't lost, it's on its way back!"
But Thor ignored Finney's words, roaring, "Give me my hammer!"and charging at Finney.
"Leave this to me, you go back!"
Finney, already intending to fight, didn't hesitate, telling Tony before charging forward, silently casting a buff on himself: "Strength Boost!"
"Agility Boost!"
"Defense Boost!"
The two fists collided with a muffled thud, and Finney staggered back a few steps. He had lost the first round of power.
Although Thor didn't have the Hulk's attribute of increasing strength through rage, his emotions affected his divine power, making him stronger than before.
However, strength had never been Finney's forte, so he wasn't discouraged after losing in terms of power. He immediately used his most proficient kiting tactic.
"Weight!"
"Weakness!"
"Slowdown!"
"Silence!"
Thor, who had been roaring, couldn't utter a sound. Coupled with the abnormality in his body, his expression was extremely uncomfortable.
Actually, at this moment, Finney suddenly missed Vormir. If the battlefield were there, he would create several giant Mjolnir hammers to smash Thor; it would be quite fun.
Finney didn't think too much about it. Maintaining the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' in battle was already difficult enough; if his thoughts became chaotic, the effect would quickly disappear.
"Explosion!"
After nearly half a year of training, Finney's skills had all improved significantly, including his 'Explosion Magic.' The relentless barrage of attacks made Thor begin to doubt whether he had truly arrived on Earth.
Fortunately, a whooshing sound suddenly came from the horizon. Thor recognized the familiar sensation and quickly looked up, his eyes filled with surprise.
"My hammer!"
Just as Thor, braving the bombardment, stretched out his hand to welcome the return of Mjolnir, a circle sparkling with golden fire suddenly appeared not far in front of his palm.
"No!!!"
Seeing this familiar scene, Thor immediately tried to retract his summoning hand, but before he could stop, with a whoosh, the hammer, traveling at supersonic speed, disappeared through the portal again.
Finney watched as Mjolnir was teleported away once more, letting out a slight sigh of relief. There was a difference between Thor with and without the hammer.
After all, he was still, in a sense, the God of Hammer, and the hammer's enhancement to his strength was substantial.
"Who are you?"
Thor, forced to calm down after his hammer disappeared twice, hurriedly explained to Finney, "I'm not an enemy. I'm here to find Loki."
"Admit defeat first!"
Finney ignored Thor's words, instead flying in the air and staring at him.
"No, I didn't!"
Thor was stunned, then resolutely shook his head: "You can't beat me. I am Thor, the God of Thunder. You should have heard of me, right? Jane told me I'm quite famous here."
"Then next time I'll throw your hammer into outer space!"
Finney looked up at the sky, seemingly waiting.
"No, you can't do that!"
Thor roared: "You don't deserve to be a warrior!"
"Yes, I don't deserve it, because I'm a mage!"
Finney nodded in deep agreement.
