Chapter 30 - Lin Fei’s Gene—Its Power May Rival the Three Major Super-God Projects!

Juxia No. 1.

The doors of the central command room slid open, and Dukao—dressed in full military uniform—walked in.

Lian Feng stood up immediately.

"General."

"How is it? Have all the materials been整理 compiled?" Dukao asked.

"They're all here."

As Dukao approached, Lian Feng handed over the organized reports.

"Energy analysis failed, but we were still able to determine the approximate energy tier Lin Fei displayed at the time."

Dukao scanned the data and nodded slightly.

"Yes, General."

"Although we still can't identify the type of energy Lin Fei used, we were able to conduct horizontal comparisons."

"And the result is—when Lin Fei put on that armor he called 'Phantom Scale Armament', the energy output he displayed was already comparable to Leona's miniature solar flare."

As Dukao read, Lian Feng continued explaining, adjusting the holographic display to footage recorded after Lin Fei activated his armor.

That's right.

Although monitoring from the Deno No. 3 global detection satellite was halted once Lin Fei was discovered,

After detecting such astonishing energy, Lian Feng still used Deno No. 3 to reconstruct and display what had occurred inside the Supergod Academy.

"You didn't do anything wrong," Dukao said.

Even though Lian Feng had acted on her own initiative without informing him first,

He could understand.

If he'd been there himself, he would've done the same—resumed observation of Lin Fei and used Deno No. 3 to gather as much data as possible.

And within the data, Lian Feng had drawn further conclusions.

"The armor Lin Fei wears—its material is unknown, but it seems to store an immense amount of energy."

"This energy is identical to the energy within Lin Fei's body, and Deno No. 3 is still unable to detect it."

"However, based on preliminary comparative analysis, the hardness of this armor may even surpass our dark alloy armor!"

Dukao's expression turned grave.

"The material… very likely isn't material at all," he said slowly.

"It's probably a manifestation of Lin Fei's internal energy."

"What?" Lian Feng froze.

She hadn't heard Lin Fei's earlier explanation regarding internal energy and the Phantom Scale Flash.

But Dukao remembered it vividly—

Because this was a gene ability unlike anything he'd ever seen.

"Turning internal energy into tangible matter?" Lian Feng's eyes flashed with disbelief.

"Mm." Dukao nodded.

He continued flipping through the report.

The data was thorough.

But regarding Lin Fei's energy type, gene classification, and even whether it originated from a dark plane—

There was still nothing.

"General, I also recorded Lin Fei's later actions using Deno No. 3," Lian Feng added.

Dukao turned to the next page.

And as he stared at the clearer aerial reconstruction of the Supergod Academy's destruction, he fell silent.

This wide-angle overhead view revealed the damage far more comprehensively than what he'd seen on-site.

Even though he'd already witnessed it once while being evacuated by helicopter,

At this moment, his blood pressure still rose uncontrollably, and Lin Fei's face—the one that made him want to punch someone—flashed through his mind.

According to intelligence estimates, Lin Fei's internal energy output was comparable to a miniature solar flare.

Given that, the level of destruction he caused made perfect sense.

What shocked Dukao, however, was Lin Fei's terrifyingly precise control over that power.

In the footage, Lin Fei's movements had been slowed down countless times—

Only then could one barely trace the trajectory of his attacks.

That punch had been unavoidable, carrying Lin Fei's internal energy with it.

A devastating, lethal strike—

Yet it stopped instantly in front of Rose, redirecting all its force behind her, without harming her in the slightest.

Such exquisite, almost absurd control.

Even Leona—known as a walking nuclear weapon—couldn't compare.

Perhaps even Sun Wukong himself could only manage this level.

"General, have you discovered Lin Fei's true identity?" Lian Feng asked once Dukao finished reviewing the data.

"Lin Fei claims to be a 'super-beast warrior.' The energy he uses is something he calls 'Anomalous Energy.'"

Upon hearing this, Lian Feng immediately accessed the Deno No. 3 database and began rapid searches.

"Cross-referencing database… matching data… none!"

"As expected," Dukao said calmly.

This result was exactly what he'd anticipated.

Even though his own information reserves were certainly inferior to Deno No. 3,

Things he hadn't heard of or seen before were exceedingly rare.

Especially when Deno No. 3 itself was unable to compute or classify anything related to Lin Fei.

Trying to find answers with just two vague terms was bound to fail.

"Still," Dukao said slowly, eyes narrowing,

"based on the fragments we do have… Lin Fei's gene—"

He paused for a moment.

Then spoke gravely:

"—may very well rival the Three Major Super-God Projects in power!"

"What?!" Lian Feng's eyes widened in shock.

The Three Major Super-God Projects were joint masterpieces created by the Space Principal, De诺, and civilizations like the Angels and the Sun Race.

Their purpose was to confront the coming Void Era!

"General—" Lian Feng started, but Dukao cut her off.

"Though the probability is low, isn't Sun Wukong a precedent?"

"His combat gene is even more optimized than the Three Major Super-God Projects, with stronger execution capability."

"And right now, we know virtually nothing about Lin Fei. I have a feeling—he may be even stronger than we imagine."

After a brief silence, Lian Feng nodded.

She trusted the judgment of this former Noxian general.

"And more importantly," Dukao continued,

"There is currently no conflict between Lin Fei and the Supergod Academy."

"Lin Fei has also made it clear that he'll stand with us against the future invasion of the Void Gluttons."

"The stronger Lin Fei is, the greater Blue Star's chances of surviving this coming catastrophe."

At that moment, Dukao's personal communicator rang.

It was Ajie.

"Hello, Ajie. How's the situation at the academy?" Dukao asked.

"General, I've finished the statistics. No casualties reported."

Dukao was stunned.

With damage on such a massive scale—every building pierced and destroyed—

Not a single person injured?

Was it coincidence…

Or was everything calculated by Lin Fei?

"I understand," Dukao replied.

"Ajie, arrange temporary accommodation for the academy staff tonight. I'll apply to the higher-ups immediately for reconstruction funding."

"Yes, General."

After ending the call, Dukao couldn't help thinking of Lin Fei again—

And Rose.

He wondered whether Rose had properly settled Lin Fei's living arrangements.

Almost immediately, he realized he was worrying too much.

Rose knew her limits; she'd handle something this small just fine.

What really gave him a headache was the funding application—

This was not going to be a small expense.

At the same time—

Rose, still holding onto Lin Fei, suddenly felt an itch in her nose.

She rubbed the tip of it in confusion, then looked at Lin Fei in front of her and said:

"We're here. This is my home."
