Nuzres was the divine cancer of the Judgeful Court King and thus she has a bit of authority over some of his subordinates but calling for them would put her in a dangerous situation as she was a discarded cancer that goes against her origin instead of stating by it's side.
She knew being near a divine King was not something for the faint of heart and frankly she had expected such an outcome ever since Kamiya obtained the Cinders of Shingensha.
Just as they were about to hit the River, Kamiya made a decree. :Suspend:
His body stopped just inches away from the water but he could not avoid it splashing onto his face and body. Nuzres who had finished speaking in that strange language she randomly began to chant felt...more cold than usual.
He looked down only to see her eyes were a pale glassy colour akin to that of a corpse, just as he was about to think what happened to her, Nuzres spoke gently. "I made lifeforms and soul weak, I do not wish for am angel of the Court King to find his discarded heart, specifically me."
Kamiya was deeply confused, what did she mean by the angel of the Cour–
The clouds in the sky seem to dispersed and a golden light bathed the world. The 788th angels shell opened up once again and the body covered with countless teeth roared, the eyes on its shell lol looked towards the golden light incinerating it's spread feather.
The sound of ringing bells surrounded the soft light and despite the beautiful scene, a sense of pure terror washed over Kamiya's body it was...it was as if something far more horrifying than the 788th angel was descending.
It did not feel like the crushing weight of a fallen god nor was it a sign of a disaster waiting to happen. The clouds now fully dispersed and from the skies, a large colossal chain larger than the body of the 788th angel fell into the river, making the entire water still.
But that was not the end, from the skies five more chains of the same size fell upon the land and river, digging deep into the very foundations of the land.
The water under Kamiya squirmed before they turned into small blue hands that dragged him down into the River. For a moment, Kamiya felt like he was about to suffocate before he was blasted by a wave of oxygen.
He breathed in deeply and his eyes opened up only to find himself in what appeared to be an underwater city. The lead spirit from earlier was currently staring at him with an irritated and murderous expression. "You're lucky that you are incubating the Spirit Queen within your soul or we I would have let you two to die."
Kamiya's lips twitched, he really didn't have a good impression with the water spirits here, the water spirit looked bigger in the water, approximately the size of a small human child or simply just Nuzres.
The spirit tilted her head, her crimson eyes staring at Kamiya as she crossed her arms, her tail swishing impatiently as if waiting for Kamiya to talk.
"Where are we?." Kamiya asked curiously, the city he was looking at was made from a marble looking stone, countless statues decorated the buildings, under him was what seemed to be a well of white coloured glowing water.
The spirit huffed and replied. "You're in River of course, I never thought the Goddess of spirits would send out an angel to hunt you down immediately." She them immediately turned to Nuzres with a scrutinising gaze. "And you, summoning the Six Chained, the right hand of the Judgeful Court King and the Fallen angel of Retribution is quite reckless, do you think a mere Corpse Angel could even last an hour against that? You could have atleast summoned a Corrupted Divine Beast."
Just as she spoke, the entire River shook. The water spirit clicked her tongue. "You guys need to leave this place, if we die we can resurrect but you can't so I will personally lead you out of this river, follow me and keep close least you want to stop breathing and drown in this foul water."
The River shook again and a loud scream began to tear through the city, causing a miniature underwater earthquake and collapsing some of the buildings.
Above the River, the Six Chained finally descended within its true form.
It took on the form of a featureless naked woman surrounded by six chains, hugs upside down with her hands and legs tied, it's twelve wings tied and her chest was cut open and within it was a large golden eyes that moved as if searching for someone.
Around it were Six hundred Lesser fallen angels wielding weapons of glowing light, they too were held by chains connected to the Six Chained, interconnecting to one another
The Massive eye of the six changed shifted towards the 788th angel of the Spirit Goddess, the six Chained did not find its primary target so instead it attacked the the one on the ground, a thick chain dropped from the skies and wrapped around the clam shell, shutting it tight.
The corpse angel within it screamed, visibly shaking the river around her. The gaps where the chain had not wrapped broke apart and countless fleshy appendage sprouted and began encasing the chains as if it were assimilating it into its body.
The flesh rapidly climbed the chains, the Six Chained merely cut off the chains and all of the six hundred angels raised their spears and within moments the sky was filled with a rain of spears.
Sensing the danger the 788th Angel made the fleshy tendrils surround her in a bubble of pink flesh but that was not going to stop thae attack of angels who were bounded to a Supreme Fallen Angel.
The six hundred spears of light immediately embedded themselves within the clam and broke it apart into nothing but splinters and gore.
The explosion of divine light and necrotic flesh sent a shockwave deep into the riverbed.
And then silence prevailed for a few seconds.
BOOM!!!.
A harrowing sound erupted from where the 788th angel died and the soundwave rushed towards the 600 angels tied to Six Chained, eliminating approximately fifty of them within mere seconds.
Space seemed to fracture in an instant and a terrifying pressure painted the surroundings blue, violently suppressing the gold of the Six Chained.
From the fracture of space, a pale hand reached out and soon it was followed by a small delicate body, strangely enough the delicate body looked like a girl with fair skin, blue eyes and hair, on her back were feathered wings made from what appeared to be ice and clear water.
"I am the 1st Angel of the Spirit Goddess, Undine, I am here to ask why you have killed one of my subordinates the Goddess sent out to hunt down a pesky spirit pearl and Divine King, has the previous appearance of the True Manifestator made the Judgeful Court King overconfident?."
A piece of the woman's feather fell onto where undine was and transformed into a girl, the girl did not have eyes since they were covered by small feathers, her hands were bounded to each other by chains, she did not wear anything, displaying her delicate body to the surroundings.
She looked at Undine and tilted her head. "I merely answered a call to get rid of a law breaker, and the price was unfortunately the energy of this land and also the energy within spirit core of the 788th angel."
Undine smiled and the girl before her shattered into tiny blue crystals, she looked up at the true form of the six Chained and spoke. "You have descended here with your true body, that shows your arrogance and i need to be repaid for you destroying one of the goddess's corpse angels and one of my nurtured spawns and I also need compensation for you letting the 789th spirit pearl to escape."
Undine was nit in her true form, like the six Chained who used a feather to talk to her, she was currently in the golden city residing is the spirit goddess's Divine Kingdom, the clone she made was not made from a single feather as that would not even be enough to contend against a Supreme Fallen Angels True Body, the clone she made had approximately over 999 feathers in its creation so taking down the army of the six Chained is merely child's play.
Undine unfurled her wings and rose up into the the sky, with her ascent the river below her began to follow, seemingly endless and suffocating, rising up into a large pillar where she stood atop.
The Undine reached towards her face and tore out both of her eyes in a sickening display, black blood flowed out of the wound but slowly it stopped and a new set of eyes began to regrow, the flesh wriggling like a living creature as it reformed.
The golden eye in the chest of the Six Chained dilated, the iris spinning with the mechanical precision of a clock. Above the river, the atmosphere became a pressurized tomb.
Undine, standing atop the rising pillar of water, held hee eyes in her palms—they were not eyes of flesh, but two pulsating Azure Orbs that hummed with the frequency of a drowning world.
"Behold," Undine whispered, her voice vibrating through the very atoms of the air. "Witness the never ending rain of despair."
The Azure orbs in her hands began to squirm and scream, floating just above her palm as they began to rotate rapidly draining the moisture in the air and turning the surroundings dry.
Undine used her other hand to clasp upon the Azure orbs and did a praying posture.
Undine unclasped her palms and a harp appeared on her palms, with her left hand took the harpoon and with her right she strung it.
The descent of the Songs of the Siren: Greatest Abyss transformed the battlefield into a sensory nightmare. As Undine struck the first chord, the sound didn't travel through the air; it traveled through the liquids of everything nearby.
The river, already standing in a massive pillar, suddenly turned pitch black. From the depths of the black water, thousands of elongated, translucent arms reached out, clawing at the sky.
She strung the second cord.
The Six Chained did not wait for the melody to conclude. The massive golden eye in her chest bled a liquid light that crystallized into a towering, jagged sword of judgment. With a collective, mechanical roar, the five hundred and fifty remaining lesser angels dove, their chains snapping taut as they moved in a synchronized, orbital strike around the pillar of water.
But as the second chord—the Banquet of Fertility—reverberated, the very nature of the black water changed.
The thousands of translucent arms reaching from the pillar didn't just claw; they began to bud. From the palms of the spectral hands, horrific, beautiful mermaid-like creatures erupted in seconds. They were not made of flesh, but of high-pressure liquid and compressed spite. They sang a counter-melody that vibrated the silver spears of the lesser angels until the weapons shattered into harmless sparks.
"Fertility," Undine's clone whispered, her newly regrown eyes weeping clear water. "In the abyss, to live is to consume. To be fertile is to be many."
The mermaids swarmed. They didn't use weapons; they used their bodies, liquefying and entering the cracks in the lesser angels' armor, expanding from the inside out until the angels burst in showers of golden ichor.
"You have already taken 150 of my Angels, do you wish to continue this meaningless fight, a clone can't truly beat my true body." The Six Chained spoke with an amount of displeasure.
Undine hummed a gentle tune and played a gentle song using the harp, her figure atop the black pillar of water that constantly spewed out unspeakable horrors made one wonder what the True form of Undine looks like.
