Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Hongjun: Luohu, you really dare

This Deity poses indeed a significant challenge to me. You are compelling me to choose."

On Mount Sumeru, Luohu contemplated intensively, but as he observed the Karma descending from Yujing Mountain, a sense of envy washed over him.

This marked the emergence of the first Innate Sacred Being since the inception of the world; that esteemed position was already out of reach.

Being an Innate Sacred Being, with the Legacy of the heavens and earth, he inherently understood the significance of such a status.

Likewise, as an Innate Sacred Being, he possessed his own sense of dignity. How could an Innate Sacred Being remain subordinate to others for long? Even though he was not the first to manifest this time, it could not be that a single step slower meant slowness in all subsequent movements.

He continuously aspired for a day when he could transcend The God. As an Innate Sacred Being, favored by heaven and earth, if he lacked this level of confidence, what purpose would there be in cultivating and seeking the Dao?

In that instant, yet another mysterious announcement circulated throughout the Honghuang World.

"Yang Mei, an Innate Sacred Being derived from the Dao of Space, has appeared! This is the first instance of an entity resembling Pangu's form."

Concurrently, in a different part of the Honghuang World, an elderly man clad in a lengthy green robe, with elongated green eyebrows drooping down, radiating spatial energy around him, let out a deep sigh of relief.

"At last, I have succeeded. Although I'm uncertain concerning why the initial Innate Sacred Being relinquished a form akin to Pangu's, this type of Innate Dao Body, the first to capture the Luck, belongs to me."

On Mount Sumeru, Luohu remained quiet for a moment. From this perspective, his options appeared limited: either relinquish that share of Luck or, akin to Hongjun, assume the Innate form associated with Yin.

After some contemplation, Luohu's expression hardened. He would never permit himself to falter at the outset.

Lacking the Luck of being the first and absence of Power of Merit would render it impossible for him to secure any advantage in the Honghuang World.

Ultimately, all the beings that were conceived first were Innate Sacred Beings; none were inferior compared to him. Their abilities and strengths were comparable at the beginning.

The primary distinction could only lie in their Magical Treasures.

Gazing at the world-extinguishing black lotus beneath him, he felt uncertain about his capability to outshine others in that aspect.

In the Primordial Continent, he was not the only one harboring this ambition.

In the vast volcanoes of the South, a massive Phoenix silhouette descended onto a towering divine tree.

The power of the Dao of Fire manifested within it, and its aura was also altering, seeking to claim the Yin-attributed Innate form of the Honghuang World.

This individual too was unwilling to forfeit that share of Luck and Karma, desiring to be among the leaders of the Innate Sacred Beings in the Honghuang World.

Not only that, within the realm of Honghuang, aside from a few Innate Sacred Beings who remained true to their initial purposes, a significant number of them were engaging in similar actions.

It was not that they desired distance from Pangu, but the allure of Luck and Karma present in the universe was far too tempting for them to resist!

Striving to be closer to Pangu, enhancing one's proximity to Pangu, and aspiring for Pangu's Realm was not a flaw, yet harboring ambitions to take control was also justifiable.

In the Honghuang realm, one Innate Sacred Being after another reassured themselves.

Transformations within the Honghuang realm occurred at a remarkable pace. Moments slipped by swiftly. In the Western Lands, at Mount Sumeru, an influx of Luck and Power of Merit settled upon the mountain.

At the same time, on Yujing Mountain, Hongjun's eyes widened in surprise.

What was he witnessing? That was the forthcoming Demon Ancestor. Could the insights provided by heaven and earth possibly be mistaken?

He had mastered the Yang Innate form within the Honghuang realm, while Luohu had achieved the Yin Innate form.

This individual is merciless, genuinely merciless. Is it truly worthwhile for such a small amount of Luck and Karma?

Hongjun's internal conviction of not attaining the status of Dao Ancestor in the days to come intensified. Engaging with such a being seemed unnecessary, genuinely unnecessary.

However, his reluctance to engage in battle did not imply that Luohu shared the same sentiment. If this individual sought to dominate the Honghuang World and eliminate him, he needed the means to resist.

To ensure his own safety, he must cultivate swiftly and grow stronger, thus avoiding any disadvantage.

A fierce flame ignited in Hongjun's gaze. He had no desire to compete with others for anything; he solely aimed for the strength to defend himself.

Otherwise, a ruthless individual who abandoned the pursuit of Pangu to perfect the Yin Innate form within the Honghuang realm for the sake of gaining additional Luck and Karma, if he did not exert effort, he would not stand a chance against him in the future!

What could such a relentless individual achieve down the line? While others might hesitate, someone capable of making such swift decisions likely did not waver.

It had to have been soon after Yang Mei accomplished his transformation that this occurred.

Furthermore, given Luohu's decisive nature, having swiftly perfected the Yin-attributed Innate form of the Honghuang World, he must have harbored intentions of being the first to attain Pangu's form.

Yet, this person chose not to proceed in that direction. One can imagine the thoughts running through his mind at that moment.

While other Innate Sacred Beings were still in deliberation, hoping to discover the first Innate form akin to Pangu, this one had already contemplated perfecting the Yin-gendered Innate form of the Honghuang World, just like himself.

At ,this time, in the southern region filled with countless volcanoes, the first Phoenix of both heaven and earth was feeling somewhat confused.

What is happening? He had just been set to refine the Yin-based Innate form of the Honghuang Realm, yet Luohu had already accomplished it. How could this happen so quickly? Was he truly that inept?

In a certain area of the Honghuang Realm, within the valley where the Innate Yin and Yang energy converged, a young man clad in black and white robes observed everything and exclaimed: "You are not human! Hongjun, Luohu, the two of you are an embarrassment to the Innate Sacred Beings of my Honghuang World! You have forsaken Pangu's will and taken an alternate path, thus abandoning Pangu's complete Dao form.

Just wait and see; without this ideal Dao form, how will you ever match up to us?

When our paths cross again, I will certainly give you a proper lesson."

Daoist Yin Yang felt a bit outraged. These two were crossing the line.

On Mount Sumeru, the future Demon Ancestor truly transformed and made his appearance.

The unending Evil Qi from heaven and earth combined with the surrounding Innate spiritual force, forming a black robe.

His face was strikingly perfect, with no visible flaws, and a Dao-symbolizing pattern adorned his forehead.

Though his eyes were cold, the Dao-symbolizing rune on his brow lent a certain charm to Luohu's appearance.

His delicate jade-like feet stood upon a black lotus.

From this lotus radiated destructive energy, which was none other than the twelve-grade world-extinguishing black lotus.

Suddenly, Luohu took a couple of steps but felt a mild heaviness.

Looking down, she saw two round objects, and her brows knitted together in displeasure.

"How bothersome. These two items may become a liability if I encounter a formidable opponent."

As she spoke, the surrounding Evil Qi of heaven and earth converged. On Mount Sumeru, fragments of Innate divine iron merged with this Evil Qi. A flame ignited in her hand, melting the materials. The power of the Dao surged around her, imbuing them.

Eventually, a suit of armor formed and was seamlessly fitted onto her body.

This armor tightly encased her entire form.

Luohu also employed her magical abilities to compress it.
