Chapter 1 - chapter 1 : I Became Hongjun

On Yujing Mountain in the Honghuang realm, mist and clouds danced together, radiating a soft, divine glow.

Each piece of grass and every tree released tendrils of Natural spiritual energy, gently drawing in and letting out the Spiritual Qi flowing through the universe.

Within this sacred mountain, where numerous Natural Formations came together, a strange gaseous entity consumed the spiritual energy of the cosmos.

"Who am I? Where am I? What is happening?"

A hint of perplexity appeared in Hong Jun's gaze; it seemed that he had undergone Transmigration.

Observing his appearance, his previous human form was gone, now replaced by a gas-like entity.

Lacking any form or substance, he felt entirely hollow.

Yet, Hong Jun was thoroughly confused, struggling to understand his circumstances.

Above him, a fragmented purple jade disc gradually materialized, and an unknown name emerged in his mind.

"Honghuang, the disc of creation, Innate One Qi, the seed of an Innate Sacred Being, the Dao of Equality."

"If all these elements exist, then I must be Hong Jun."

Hong Jun was momentarily taken aback. He had truly Transmigrated to become an Innate Sacred Being within the Honghuang World, an exalted entity wielding the Great Dao of Equality.

This meant he was Hong Jun, destined to become the Dao Ancestor of the Honghuang realm, the one who Unites his Form with the Dao.

However, Hong Jun felt no joy. To Transmigrate and assume the identity of Hong Jun seemed positive, yet what was the truth?

In numerous tales, he was depicted as a villain, a malevolent figure.

Furthermore, his destiny was deeply unfortunate. He not only had to confront that one Beast Emperor, but eventually he also had to face that one Demon Ancestor. After achieving victory and gaining the status of Saint...

...he would ultimately encounter the fate of Uniting his Body with the Dao. How did that differ from being eternally confined in a dim, small room?

Moreover, in the end, he would not even gain a favorable reputation, likely being branded as a villain, an evil individual, or the ultimate antagonist.

Previously, he did not comprehend why, but now Hong Jun finally understood.

He was an Innate Sacred Being, and such beings inherently possessed a Great Dao of Heaven and Earth. The one he held was the Great Dao of Equality.

This Dao signified the egalitarianism of all things and the equilibrium of everything.

Whether concerning Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, Reincarnation, or Time, Space, and Destiny, this Dao can amalgamate with all other Daos and act as the central point for all Great Daos.

While this form of Great Dao may be weak in its initial phases, its potential for success is unquestionably exceptional. It can amalgamate the traits of all Daos—who could fear such a Dao?

The most vital aspect is that even the Heavenly Dao can eventually be incorporated into his own Great Dao.

Yet, that is currently unattainable. Given the present circumstances, he is merely an Innate Sacred Being yet to manifest; in simpler terms, he is an unborn child.

Even with the extraordinary characteristics of an Innate Sacred Being that allow him to perceive the Great Dao developing within, it remains utterly unfeasible for him to harmonize with other Great Daos, including the Heavenly Dao.

It would resemble a small horse attempting to drag a heavy wagon. He should at least be a small horse, but since he is unfocused, he is even less than that.

Nevertheless, Hong Jun had a vague sense of his own Great Dao's intended purpose.

In some ways, this Great Dao can act as the connection point for numerous Great Daos.

Perhaps the destiny he faces of merging his essence with the Dao stems from this very aspect.

"Maybe it's pointless to dwell on this now. I should focus on Materializing Form as soon as possible. At worst, I can disregard the conventional rules in the future and not strive for the role of Dao Ancestor."

Hong Jun exhaled softly, quickly understanding his present circumstances. All his excessive concerns were futile.

He has yet to Materialize Form; he is akin to a newborn. Why fret over the future? What he needs to concentrate on now is to emerge and Materialize Form.

Emerging takes precedence, followed by Materializing Form. The Heavenly Legacy that exists in this realm is still quite beneficial; for instance, the general outline of Pangu is documented within every Innate Being.

Of course, there was one issue that left him slightly conflicted.

Subsequent generations did not record Pangu as either male or female; that was the essence of the Innate Form, which had the potential to be either. The Dao is inherently dynamic, so the concept of gender doesn't apply.

Thus, as long as he desires, he could shift between forms. Naturally, he could also adopt one form and remain with it indefinitely.

The vital factor is that the ideal Innate Body should notably mirror Pangu—namely, the formless Innate Body in the Dao that can transform without restrictions is the optimal selection.

Hong Jun felt somewhat disheartened. As an Innate Sacred Being, although he hadn't yet emerged, that moment would soon arrive. The priority should be Materializing Form—selecting a shape akin to Pangu's formless essence in the Dao.

There were certainly advantages: doing so would bring him closer to Pangu and enable him to capture some of the world's Luck.

The downside was that it would require him to spend time adjusting.

After reflecting, he ultimately reached a decision. Since he did not intend to Merge his Body with the Dao in the future, he needed to create some distinctions from Pangu.

Any other being would likely choose the dao body that most closely resembled Pangu's.

Directly Materializing Form according to Pangu's likeness and emulating him would ultimately result in following Pangu's path.

The Great God Pangu established Honghuang, so the focus must be on innovation.

Hong Jun resolved to consider the form that resembles Pangu's essence. It was the moment to reach a conclusion. Pangu belonged to history; they needed to grasp the concept of progress.

His eyes focused on the emerald circle of existence. Lacking the Fortune linked to Pangu's shape, he could solely aspire to attain the Fortune of the initial Innate Being
