With a single command "Wipe all things to oblivion.", huge bursts of flames shot into the sky, its blast's burning down buildings, districts and everything in between till there was nothing left. The entire city was in flames, Suzuha was beat up and tired, her back limped forward, her arms dangling, and her hair rough with dirt. Suzuha was taking deep breaths ""Ha! Ha! Why? Why does it have to be like this all the time?", she asked. She looked around, one of the Drive Knights she had fought was laying lifeless on rubble, it's body burnt up and one of its legs and arms torn apart. The Drive Knight in that state was the gun Drive Knight. Another Drive Knight was on one knee, it was starting to malfunction "Heat censors damage. Important software cables destroyed. Processing board damaged.", it's body was twitching, electricity sparking out of it as its body smoked. Suzuha looked at the Drive Knight "That one's fighting for it's life right there. I was able to beat the Gun Drive Knight and the Sword Drive Knight. All that's left is just....", she looked up just to see the cannon Drive Knight floating above. It's body was scorched, one of its legs were burnt off, and the rest of its body was sparking with electricity, it wasn't functioning properly anymore. Suzuha thought "I've been fighting these things with hundreds of thousands of degrees, it wasn't until I got into nine-hundred thousand degrees that these Drive Knights started feeling the heat. Looks like the metal used in creating these things are no joke.", she looked up and saw the cannon Drive Knight "But this one. It's like it was built to kill me. How the hell am I even still standing without losing an arm or even an eye?". Suzuha let out a sigh, steam coming from her mouth "I'm tired, I want to drop down to the floor and just sleep like I'm on my bed, but I can't. I want to be able to go home and just lay down. I want to scold Roy for all his bad behaviours. I want to continue to hang out with Ralfold. And I also want to end up with Kojin too. I don't want to die, not until I've lived a very satisfied life.". The Drive Knight in the air started to twitch, it's arms slowly started to form into cannons. As it did so, it prepared a gigantic beam of energy, slowly causing the ground to tear apart and cause debries to float upwards. The ground started to shake, Suzuha looked confused for a moment before looking sad "I see, so this is how I die. Worse part Is I'm only 22 years old, didn't even live long enough to reach 40. Guess it couldn't be helped.", Suzuha started to cough out blood. She looked at the blood stains on her hand that she had coughed on "Looks like I've got some internal bleeding. What a pain. A few years back as a kid, we faced the Knight Country in a war.". Suzuha started to remember the fight she had against the knights that tried to kill her "Till this day, i can't forget about that war. Cid, Ralfold and I were separated. I was fighting for my life In fear until I was cornered. At that moment, I thought that I was going to die, which I was, until...", Suzuha started to think of Ralfold "Until he came in to save me.", she remembered how he swooped in and was able to kill both of the knights that were about to kill her. Suzuha smiled softly "You reslly had my back, Ralfold.", the cannon Drive Knight shot out the beam it was preparing, ultimately destroying itself since it's body was too weak to handle its own power. The beam flew down at Suzuha, destroying everything that was in its way. Suzuha muttered "Please, Ralfold. Help me.", within seconds, Ralfold flew in with the form of a black lightning bolt and immediately held the beam for Suzuha before it could reach her. Suzuha was stunned "RALFOLD!", Ralfold was holding the beam with everything he had "AAAAAH!", he groaned. Suzuha called out to him "Ralfold!", Ralfold warned "NO! ITS TOO DANGEROUS!", his body was slowly getting scorched "YOU'RE EXTREMELY LOW ON ENERGY, LOWER THAN ME EVEN! YOU ASKED FOR HELP, RIGHT? THEN I'LL HELP YOU.",Ralfold explained to her as his body burnt up while he struggled with the beam. Tears slowly started to fall out of Suzuha's eyes "YOU DONT HAVE TO RISK YOUR LIFE LIKE THIS! PLEASE, RALFOLD!", she begged as she cried "RALFOLD!", she called out his name. Ralfold yelled out like a lion as he struggled with the beam and then mustered all the strength he had in deflecting it, "RAAAAAAAAH!". The beam blew up in the sky, its impact destroying the ground. Suzuha used a wall of flames to protect herself and Ralfold "HANG ON!", she cried. The explosion cleared after a few minutes. Nothing was left of the city around them anymore, buildings had been turned to ashes, rubble, pipes and glass everywhere. Suzuha was on her knees as Ralfold layed on her lap, his eyes were rolled back, his chest and stomach were burnt. Blood was all over his head, and the flesh on his arms were melting off. Suzuha was crying, tears falling down her eyes as she watched the dead body of her friend lay on her lap "Ralfold!", she called his name out with tears. Ralfold's lips moved "Su-zu.....", Suzuha's eyes opened with shock. She saw Ralfold smiling weakly but softly at her. Ralfold teased even at a dire situation "You're still a cry baby, aren't you.", his voice cracked "Looks like one of us is going to be joining Cid soon. Sorry I had to be the one.", Ralfold said with his voice slowly dying out. Suzuha immediately stretched out her hand "Hold on, I'll use a healing technique on you. I'm not that great, but I'm decent at it.", Ralfold coughed "Calm down. My body's too far gone. My organs feel like they're melting, I can't even feel my hands. My heart rate is reducing by the second, this is how it is for me.". Suzuha slowly started to turn her head left and right, her face in disbelief as she looked at him, she realised that his heart was scorched beyond repair "No. No....!", she cried "It's wasn't supposed to be like this! We were supposed to be the ultimate team.". Ralfold had stopped talking for a moment "Sorry, Suzuha. Looks like that was nothing more.... than a pipe dream. When you get back to Kagahara, tell Volt and Regina to do their best. Okay?", his voice faded away, Ralfold had died. Suzuha started to cry as she shooked his body and kept performing healing techniques on him "NO! NO! RALFOLD! NOOO!!! AHHHH!", Suzuha cried out loud, her voice echoed through the destroyed city around them "RALFOLD!".
