Kazuma kept quiet for a moment "Looks like my heart's still beating, or maybe it's not. Either way....", In the real world, as Kazuma layed motionless on the ground, the side of his chest where his heart was located had energy swirling around it. Kazuma's heart was beating thanks to him using his energy to pump it up. He got up and dusted himself, he looked at the floor and saw his blood. Kazuma kept quiet for a moment, he stared at his reflection while standing on his own pool of blood. The boy sighed, his tone darkened "Looks like it's about time I took things seriously.". As he walked through the city while tracking the rest of his friends, Kazuma looked around. He saw scorched walls and destroyed grounds "These are probably the aftermath of Volt, Kito and White's attacks. A few meters away, I saw slash marks on the walls steaming with smoke, those are probably Yuji's lightning attacks. He really did crash out for my sake, didn't he.". Kazuma heard a groan "Ahhh! Kazuma? Is that you?", Kazuma was stunned "I know that voice.", he said under his breath. A few yards away from him was Baroka laying on the floor, a huge sword had pierced through his left hand and lung. Kazuma ran towards him "BAROKA!", he called out his friends name. As soon as he got to him, he grabbed his arm and started healing him "BAROKA! ARE YOU OKAY?! ANSWER ME!", Kazuma asked in worry and fear. Baroka, tho his voice tired and weak, urged to Kazuma "You've got to go after them. Kito, White and Volt! They need help!". Kazuma asked "What do you mean they need help? What happened to them?", Baroka coughed out blood before answering "That guy we fought at the city of pillars. The one with the sword.", Kazuma's eyes widened, memories of the fight he had with Rexus in the city of pillars played in his head repeatedly. Not just that, but Kazuma remembered losing his mind in the process "Are you talking about him...?", he asked with a tone of disbelief. Baroka answered "Yeah, he's here. Kito and the rest are fighting him right now. By the way, where's Yuji? And why's your chest bleeding?", Baroka asked. Kazuma carefully placed down Baroka's hand and said with a cold tone "I'll be back.". Kazuma proceeded to walk "Kazuma! Take care of yourself, and don't do anything reckless. I can't....", tears started to roll down Baroka's eyes "I can't afford for any of you to die. We're all solidiers, but we're still friends. Please, be safe.". Kazuma paused for a moment to listen before walking off, his eyes shadowed, he walked off without saying a word. Meanwhile, the stadium where Mio and the rest of the girls were fighting Shintell was practically destroyed. The ground was burnt and destroyed, there were craters on the floor, Mio and the rest of the girls were layed injured on the floor. The only one's who were trying to move were just Mio and Regina. Regina struggled to lift her body up, while Mio was tired and burnt out. Shintell mocked "Haha! That's the best you all have? Personally, I'd thought you all had the advantage. It was practically an eight versus one, and I beat you all. Although, to be fair, I did cheat a little tho. My power gives me the ability to reverse damage to others who have placed it on me. So when I got caught off guard, I just redirected the effects of the blows you gave to me back at you.". Regina had a ragefull face as she tried to get up "This bitch! She's got us. Mio and I are the only one's still conscious.", Mio on the other hand was tired "I'm all out of energy. I can't even stand. Racheal and the rest can't move either, the only person who has the ability to even raise a head is just myself, Regina and possibly Yuki. But even she's using all the power she has left to keep herself alive.". Shindell stretched her hand forward, gathering a tramendous amount of purple energy into her palms "Regardless of my ability, I have another ability that helps me create my own attacks judging from the knowledge I've gathered from other attacks. Basically, I'm replicating your attacks and making them my own.". Mio's eyes widened on seeing Shindell power up her next attack "No way! That's way too much energy for me too handle.", her hands were shaky as they supported her "I can't even move. I don't have the energy to do anything now.", suddenly everywhere started to get dark in her head. Her demonic energy started to ooze out of her "I've got to do something, otherwise we're all dead. I can't let that happen, I'm going to make sure we all make it out of this one. I have too.", Mio's eyes turned ragefull "I have too! I have too! I HAVE TOO!", she growled In her head. Mio heard a voice pleading "Help me, please! I have no control over my body.", this caused her to look confused and empathetic "That voice.". Mio took a look at Shindell "That girl. She's dead, I know that. But, he soul is still crying for help. She's being controlled against her will.", Mio slowly and painfully gathered all the strength she had into standing up "I'm not going to just ignore that. I don't sense any alternative emotions from her soul, which means one thing. This girl really needs help.". Without a second to even do anything, four beams of energy came crashing into the stadium, Mio and Regina were all stunned by this "Huh?!". The smoke cleared, Rexus was seen, holding White by the neck as he raised him off the ground. He was also chockiny Volt with his other hand, and used his left leg to stump on Kito's head to the ground "Oi, oi, oi. Didn't think id see you here, demon girl.". Mio exclaimed "You guys!", Regina seeing Volt in the intense situation couldn't help but to feel angered "VOLT!", she screamed her friends name out. Yuki struggled to open her eyes just to see Kito's head being stepped on "Kitoooo!", she groaned his name. Rem asked as she struggled to talk "Volt! What are you doing to my brother? You bastard. Baroka! Kito, where's Baroka?!", Kito was almost crying. They all heard another yell "AAAAAAAAAH!", a blast of lightning shot into the stadium, destroying the walls. Yuji and his masked enemy blitzed around the stadium, destroying everything with slashes and attacks of lightning before they both punched each other to the ground. Mio and Regina were stunned "Yuji!", they both said with worry.
