While everyone was sitted on the roof of a huge building, they were all talking to each other. Kazuma watched, his head resting on his left palm "Wow, we're actually just chatting away.", he said to himself. Mio tapped him on the shoulder "Hey, Kazuma.", Kazuma asked "Hey, Mio. Is something wrong?". Mio asked "Nothing really. You seem bored, is everything okay?", Kazuma still looking bored replied "Nothing really. I'm just being quiet, that's all.". Mio asked "You thinking of Ranpo sensei?", Kazuma paused before answering "Actually, I haven't thought of him in a while. He's also in the war against the Knight Country, isn't he?", Mio looked stern "You didn't think of him in a while? You're horrible, Kazuma.". Kazuma sighed "At this point, there's nothing I haven't heard.", his expression shifted "But, you know. Now that I think about it, I can't help but to wonder how hard he's fighting out there. For all we know, he could be in a difficult situation. Who knows?". Mio didn't say anything yet, instead, she looked up into the air and watched the stary skies and clouds. Mio told Kazuma "Well, you're right. Sitting down here with everyone while kids our age and our teachers are fighting a war makes me feel guilty.", Kazuma muttered "You're the only one feeling like that.". Mio got offended, she pouted and then stumped on his feet "You're mean.", "Ouch!", Kazuma felt the pain but didn't scream. White, Racheal, Lydia, Kito and Yuki were conversing with each other "Sometimes I wonder how you get along with her, Yuki.", Racheal said to Kito concerning Yuki. Yuki replied slightly annoyed "Oh, please.", Kito seemed nervous as he scratched his cheek "Well, she can be an handful, but she's nice to be with.". Yuki looked at him "Handful?!", Lydia added "Kito is right, you can be a handful sometimes. You're like a kid with an off button.", Yuki wanted to get annoyed before taking her time to think and then ask "What's that supposed to mean?", she asked. Lydia smiled mockingly "Hahaaha!", she started to laugh at her until Yuki got annoyed "Why are you laughing?!", Yuki growled. White sighed with dissapointment "Seriously, what's wrong with you Lydia?", Racheal replied "Just leave her be. She hasn't seen Yuki in a while, it's only fair if she blows off one or two jokes at her.". Rem, Marallda and Gwen were with each other, Gwen was using a raider to scan their surroundings "You see anything?", Rem asked, Gwen replied "Not really. The raider isn't picking anything up, and I'm not sensing anything at all. The only things around are just people in their houses.", Rem sighed "Ahh! Figures.". Marallda looked at Rem and asked "By the way, how's your relationship with that Roy guy of yours?", Rem replied "Oh, you mean Blaze? Well, we're back on track. He and I spoke a few days back. He decided to stop whatever form of bad habits he used to have. Volt ended up beating the hell out of him, guess that made him rethink some certain things.", Gwen scoffed with a smirk on her face "Hm! Having your boy friend get beat up by your twin brother is embarrassing, don't you think?". Rem looked at Gwen with annoyance "Didn't Fred get bashed on the skull by Kito? How's that one doing?", Gwen explained with her arms apart "Oh, him? I scolded him myself after we got back from the training camp. I kidnapped him, took him to my basement, tortured him with chainsaws, called up one of my cousins who is good at performing healing techniques and then forced him to have a boner. We eneded up doing it for 4 hours with no end.". Rem and Marallda were stunned for a moment "What the fuck?", Rem asked, Marallda added "Some of us shouldn't be having the powers we have right now.". Kito on the other hand had heard what Gwen had said "No wonder i had that feeling, now I'm worried about him.", he thought to himself. Rem sighed "Well, Roy's in the war along side Fred. I hope they both are doing okay.", Gwen sighed and waved her palm "They'll be fine. There shouldn't be a reason to worry for them.", Rem and Marallda were a bit stunned "She really is that confident.". Yuji and Regina heard the conversation between Rem, Marallda and Gwen "Wow, Volt really did beat him up.", Regina said, Yuji replied "Yeah, the video's online so there's that.". Regina looked at Yuji with an excited smile "So? Yuji! How was your mission against those twins you fought?! How did you kill them?! I bet it was crazy, right?", Yuji thought to himself "Wow, she really does want to hear about that mission.", he explained to her "I'll tell you later, right now i want to have a clear head.". At the other side of the roof was Baroka and Volt who were sitted together "Looks like you held in there.", Volt replied with a soft laugh "Yep, I did.". Baroka then asked "Is your relationship with your sister still stabled though? You did beat up the person she liked the most.", Volt took a moment to think before answering "Eh, who cares? He got what was coming to him. I'm sure he's changed from being so arrogant and dumb, so that's whatever.", Baroka laughed softly "You've sure become more straight forward. That's good.". White then called to everyone's attention "Hey, guys. Don't you think it's about time we went back to patrolling?", Racheal replied "We have been chatting for twenty minutes straight, I guess that's enough for a break.". Gwen sighed and kept her tracker in her pocket "You're right.", she looked around "Okay, so this is how we're going to do this. Boys would go together on the mission, and girls would go together. It would be a group thing since we already patrolled with our actual team groupings.". Kazuma layed back "Sounds good.", he said before standing up and jumping off the building, all the boys and girls followed "Okay then, later.", Gwen said. Mio and the rest jumped "If anything goes wrong, you all should say something quick.", Mio said, the rest replied "Sure.". Meanwhile at the other side of the city, Rexus stood on a building. His hair and clothes blown by the wind, he had a smirk on his face "Hm. So this the city of Kagahara? I've got to say, it's a lot more peaceful than any of the cities in the Knight Country.". A girl in a hood stood beside him "Stop reminiscing and focus on the job.", Haven said through the girl. Rexus looked at her with a grin "Ah?", Haven was sitted in a bar when she said through the corpse girl "The mission is simple. Get the attention from as many soliders as you can and attack them. I'll do the same. Don't screw this up.", Rexus scoffed "You're talking like i always screw things up. But dont worry, things would go accordingly.", his smirk widened "Trust.".
