Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Awakening of the void

Chris moved through the desolate ruins of the Deus Machina factory. Dust coated broken machinery. Rusted metal crunched under his boots. The factory had long been abandoned, silence echoing in every corner.

Maya followed, her pink hair brushing against crates and broken pipes. "Chris… are we sure this place is safe?" she whispered, voice trembling.

Chris didn't answer. His eyes were locked on a massive form lying in the center of the factory: Void Mecha. Its armor was cracked. Its arms were missing. It looked like a shadow of its former self, a titan waiting in silence.

Buddha floated down beside them, the God of Sword gleaming in his hand. "This will help," he said calmly, placing the blade carefully into Void Mecha's chest cavity. Energy surged immediately. Lights flickered across the massive frame.

Maya gasped. "Is… is it really coming back to life?"

Chris's eyes widened. "Yes. And we're about to see exactly why it was feared."

The massive machine rumbled. Pistons hissed. Armor shifted as Void Mecha raised its head, now fully aware. Its core lit with blinding energy.

Without warning, a shadow emerged above the factory walls. Nyarlathothep, writhing and grotesque, appeared to challenge the awakened machine.

Chris stepped back. "WOAH… WHAT—"

Void Mecha moved with impossible speed. Its swords, gleaming now in full light, slashed through reality itself. Nyarlathothep's limbs were severed. Its form disintegrated in blinding bursts of energy.

Chris and Maya stumbled backward, shielding themselves from the radiant force. The factory trembled, dust and metal falling from ceilings.

"Holy—he just—he just killed Nyarlathothep," Maya whispered, voice barely audible.

Chris's jaw tightened, eyes wide with awe. "This… this is why the legends exist. Void Mecha… it doesn't care. It destroys evil gods. No mercy. No hesitation."

Void Mecha lowered its swords, standing tall in the ruined factory. Its gaze—though mechanical—seemed to sweep across Chris and Maya, aware, calculating, ready for the next threat.

The factory was silent again, except for the hum of Void Mecha's energy cores. Outside, shadows stirred. Somewhere, forces waited.

Chris exhaled. "Looks like we're not done yet. But… now we have a chance."

Maya's hands trembled as she whispered, "I… I don't know if I'm ready for this."

Chris gave a slight nod, gripping his katana. "No one is. But we don't get a choice."

And with that, Void Mecha stood ready, a god-killer reawakened, preparing for the next wave of cosmic chaos.
