Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Clash of Titans

The city trembled under the weight of two colossal machines. Dust and rubble swirled like storms, windows shattered, and the streets themselves buckled from the force of the battle.

Chris gripped the controls inside Void Mecha, every muscle taut. "Maya, I need you to watch the flanks. Help me anticipate its attacks."

Maya nodded, clinging to the control panel beside him. Her pink hair fluttered wildly as Void Mecha surged forward. "Got it! But Chris… it's enormous!"

Padagrhma's shadow stretched over the city. Its massive arms swung with crushing force. Energy beams streaked across the streets, tearing apart buildings and vehicles alike.

Chris leaned forward. "Focus. Don't panic. Timing and precision—that's our advantage."

Void Mecha darted forward, blades glowing. Chris slashed, cutting deep into Padagrhma's armor. Sparks flew. Energy shields activated on the enemy, but Chris anticipated them, pivoting Void Mecha mid-strike and following with a secondary slash from Katana Zero.

Padagrhma roared—not in sound, but in the very air vibrating around them. It retaliated, striking with one massive arm. Void Mecha twisted, narrowly avoiding being crushed. Debris flew everywhere, buildings splintered, and Maya was thrown slightly from the force.

Chris steadied her. "Keep your head clear. Follow my lead. Don't let it predict you."

Padagrhma lashed out with both arms, swinging in tandem like twin meteors. Chris activated magician explosions, creating a shield of concentrated energy that deflected the attack. Sparks rained down, leaving scorch marks across the crumbling streets.

Chris's mind raced, calculating angles, weaknesses, and patterns. "It's fast… but predictable if I force it into a rhythm."

Void Mecha darted to the side, circling Padagrhma. Chris feinted a strike with the left blade, drawing Padagrhma's attention. Then, with precise timing, he launched a full power slash with the God of Sword in Void Mecha's right arm. The blade cut into Padagrhma's midsection, armor bending and cracking.

Padagrhma staggered but did not fall. Its glowing runes pulsed, energy flaring outward. Reality itself seemed to warp under its cosmic presence.

Chris's eyes burned. "We need to finish this before it adapts. Maya—initiate support matrix."

Maya pressed several controls, activating auxiliary drones, shield generators, and energy feedback loops. Void Mecha's systems hummed with renewed power.

The two machines collided again. Metal screamed. Energy cascaded in every direction. Void Mecha slashed, dodged, and countered, every move coordinated like a symphony of destruction.

Chris shouted over the chaos. "Final sequence—precision strike! Aim for the core!"

Void Mecha leaped, blades spinning. With one concentrated thrust, Katana Zero and the God of Sword pierced Padagrhma's central core. Energy exploded outward, sending shockwaves that shattered nearby buildings.

Padagrhma howled as its massive frame trembled, armor splitting along the strike. Sparks, light, and cosmic energy exploded across the cityscape.

Chris exhaled, muscles tense. Void Mecha lowered its blades, standing over the staggering colossal mecha. Maya clutched his shoulder, wide-eyed.

"Did… did we do it?" she whispered.

Chris shook his head slightly, eyes scanning the horizon. "Not yet. It's damaged… but it's not finished. Mecha Padagrhma isn't just a machine—it's Padomay itself. This fight… it's only the beginning."

The city lay in ruin, smoke curling into the sky. But for the first time, Void Mecha—and Chris—had shown that even the incomprehensible could be challenged.

And somewhere beyond the horizon, shadows shifted. New threats stirred, waiting for the right moment to strike.
