Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Forest clash

Chris, Maya, Jade Emperor, and Buddha moved through the forest park, the trees swaying under an unnatural wind. The ground was cracked and uneven from previous battles, remnants of chaos lingering like ghosts.

Maya clutched her backpack tightly, eyes darting to the shadows between the trunks. "This place… it feels wrong."

Chris didn't answer. His focus was on the path ahead, analyzing, predicting. Every leaf, every movement could hide danger.

Suddenly, the air shifted. A massive figure appeared between the trees—Mecha Randrich. Its armor gleamed in the dappled light, and in its grasp, the God of Sword pulsed with lethal energy.

Chris's katana gleamed as he stepped forward, stance ready. Jade Emperor's eyes narrowed, and Buddha exhaled calmly, radiating immense pressure.

Mecha Randrich struck first, swinging the God of Sword with deadly precision. The blade cut through the air toward the four of them.

Chris barely dodged, feeling the pressure of power that could shatter mountains. Maya ducked behind a tree, wide-eyed.

Jade Emperor raised his hand, channels of divine light forming in his palms. Buddha, eyes closed, centered himself. Then, with a single motion, he unleashed the God of Destruction.

The energy collided with Mecha Randrich, detonating in a brilliant explosion that shook the forest to its roots. Trees splintered. The ground cracked. Birds scattered into the sky.

Chris and Maya shielded themselves from the shockwave. When the dust settled, Mecha Randrich lay broken, its God of Sword dislodged from its grasp.

Buddha floated down lightly, picking up the God of Sword with calm authority. "Claimed," he said, his voice serene but carrying the weight of divine judgment.

Chris nodded slightly. "Good. That takes one threat off the board."

Maya exhaled shakily. "That… was insane. How can one person—well, one… thing—do that?"

Chris turned to her, expression unreadable. "That's why we fight. There's more coming. Much more."

Above the forest, shadows shifted, watching. The battle was over for now, but the war against the chaos was only beginning.
