"What exactly are you planning to do?"
Mansi asked while still holding Kavita ji's hand, her eyes shifting toward Nidhi.
"You must have been good at studies too, right?"
She smiled lightly and continued,
"I forgot to ask earlier… which school did you study in before coming here?
And how were your grades?"
"They were… okay," Nidhi replied calmly.
"And what are your expectations from the exams you just gave?"
Mansi asked while taking a sip of water.
"I think it's too early to say anything," Nidhi answered honestly.
"Nidhi, do you have any favorite university?" Raghav ji asked gently.
"Dad can get you admission there."
"I'm not interested in going to university," Nidhi said quietly.
Hearing her answer, Kavita ji and Raghav ji looked at each other in surprise.
But Mansi's lips slowly curved into a smile.
She felt she had finally found a chance to look down on Nidhi.
"I think Nidhi doesn't like studying," Mansi said casually.
Raghav ji immediately tried to cover it up with a laugh.
"So what? Even I didn't like going to school.
Once your grandmother found out that I used to skip classes…
she beat me badly," he said jokingly.
Suddenly, he remembered something Nidhi had mentioned the previous day—
that her hobby was earning money.
With interest, he asked,
"Nidhi, what do you want to become in the future?
Do you have interest in any special industry?
Or do you want to become a celebrity?
If that's the case, I can help you there too."
Nidhi felt confused for a moment.
Meanwhile, Mansi watched with great interest.
"I don't want to become a celebrity," Nidhi replied firmly.
"Then what do you want to become?" Raghav ji asked patiently.
"Is there something you're interested in?"
"Fashion designing… maybe?" Nidhi said after thinking for a moment.
"That's wonderful," Raghav ji said happily.
"You're on vacation right now, and coincidentally,
we own a small fashion designing company.
Its office is quite close to home.
If you want, you can go and have a look."
Nidhi was left speechless.
"If you feel that building a company is more interesting than going to university,"
Raghav ji continued,
"then you don't need to attend university at all.
We have countless businesses.
You can handle any of them.
Degrees are useless for business people anyway."
Hearing this, Nidhi was completely shocked.
Under the table, Mansi clenched her fists tightly.
Was her father really planning to give Nidhi a company—
just to play with?
Even though the Singhania Group owned many companies,
that clothing company was in very bad condition.
It was barely a year old.
Still… it was a company.
Nidhi had arrived in this family just one day ago,
and she was already being involved in family business.
Just thinking about it made Mansi's heart burn with jealousy.
"If you don't even want to work, that's fine too,"
Kavita ji said with a smile.
"Mom and Dad will transfer money to your account every day.
You can enjoy, spend, and have fun as much as you want."
Hearing this, Nidhi was completely speechless.
She thought to herself, Does something like this really exist?
Even the servants around were shocked.
Deep inside, jealousy rose in their hearts.
"This is the difference between the rich and the poor,"
they thought silently.
Mansi's nails dug into her skin in anger.
But the pain in her heart was much worse.
"Should we transfer your pocket money right now?"
Kavita ji asked, taking out her phone.
"I'll transfer ten million for now.
Just tell me your bank details."
"There's no need," Nidhi replied calmly.
She already had more than enough money.
"Alright," Kavita ji said kindly.
"I'll transfer it later then.
Take your time and think about what you want to do.
Whatever you want, you'll get it."
At this point, Mansi felt like her head would explode.
Nidhi looked at Raghav ji and said,
"Please give me the address."
"What?"
For a moment, both Raghav ji and Kavita ji were stunned.
Then they understood her interest.
"Do you really want to join the company?" Raghav ji asked.
Nidhi nodded with a soft smile.
"That's wonderful," Kavita ji said happily.
She immediately sent Nidhi the office location.
After pausing for a moment, she added,
"It's a very small company.
Even if there's some loss, it's okay.
Don't take pressure.
Just go there and enjoy."
"Profit is where the real fun is, Mom," Nidhi replied calmly.
Hearing this, Raghav ji became excited.
"See? That's my blood!"
Mansi's face turned pale with jealousy.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through her mind.
Maintaining her smile, she said,
"Nidhi, the clothes Mom and Dad bought for you yesterday
aren't suitable for office wear.
I'm free today, so I'll take you to the biggest mall in the city."
She added sweetly,
"I heard your previous parents came to Mumbai only recently.
I'm sure you haven't visited such a mall yet."
"Yes, that sounds good," Kavita ji said excitedly.
"Nidhi has just arrived, and we haven't taken her anywhere yet.
I'll ask the driver to get the car ready."
"There's no need," Nidhi said gently.
She wanted some time alone.
There were many things she needed to handle.
"Nidhi, wherever you want to go, I can take you," Mansi said.
"I can show you around,
or you can go to a beauty salon or spa with Mom."
"Yes, we can even go out for evening tea," Kavita ji added.
"Some other day," Nidhi replied politely.
"I need to organize a few things in my room right now.
You all enjoy."
Saying this, she stood up, smiled,
and walked toward her room.
Watching her leave, Kavita ji asked with a smile,
"Do you need help organizing your things?"
"Or should we ask Meena to help you?" Raghav ji added.
"No, there's no need," Nidhi replied calmly.
"I'll manage."
She then went back to her room.
As soon as Nidhi sat on the bed,
her phone suddenly started vibrating.
It was a call from Sejal.
"Nidhi, today is the auction of the Hriday Amrit plant at 3 PM.
There are six plants.
I've arranged the money for you," Sejal said.
"You've become very kind," Nidhi said with a sweet smile.
"Of course," Sejal replied proudly.
"I can help you as much as you need.
If you say the word, I can even sacrifice my life
and the lives of all my people for you.
What are a few million anyway?"
Hearing this, Nidhi laughed teasingly.
"Why would you give your life for me?"
"Enough time pass," Sejal said.
"I'll pick you up at 2 PM."
"Okay," Nidhi replied casually.
Their relationship was such that politeness wasn't needed.
They were best friends and understood each other very well.
After cutting the call,
Nidhi immediately sent her the location.
Downstairs, Mansi was trying her best to please Raghav ji and Kavita ji,
spending time with them so they would stay happy.
But by afternoon,
both Raghav ji and Kavita ji went to the kitchen to cook.
Only then did Mansi breathe a sigh of relief.
Just then, Daisy offered her a fruit plate.
"Mansi, you've been very busy since morning.
Have some fruits."
Before Mansi could say thank you,
Daisy added softly,
"Mansi, I need to talk to you about something important."
Mansi glanced at Daisy and immediately understood the topic.
Looking at the servants nearby, she said,
"Bring the fruits to the garden.
I'll eat there."
"Okay," Daisy replied.
She followed Mansi to the garden,
carrying the fruit plate behind her.
