Chapter 21 - 21. Miss Mansi brought soup for sir.

The moment the auction began, the stage split into two parts.

Soon, the first item slowly appeared above the platform.

At the same time, the same item appeared on the glass screens inside every private room, along with its complete history and details.

The first item was called Heart Revive.

It was specially used for patients with heart disease.

After consuming it, the patient would feel much better.

Even a healthy person could drink it to improve overall health.

If a sick person consumed it, the pain would reduce immediately.

Most importantly, it had no side effects at all.

While the explanation was being shown, a clear digital image of the item appeared on every screen so that everyone could see it properly.

"Nidhi… isn't this the leftover material you once used for one of your productions?"

Sejal asked in shock.

"Yes," Nidhi replied honestly.

This was truly a case of gaining both the fruit and the seed.

Even though this medicine was not as effective as the original one,

it still had some medicinal value.

So it was definitely not waste.

"The bidding will start at 20,000,"

the announcement echoed.

"Just leftover material, and the price is already 20,000?"

Sejal was completely stunned.

In front of the glass wall, there were three buttons with labels—

10,000, 50,000, and 1 lakh.

In other words, the minimum increase in bid was 10,000.

Sejal watched silently as the price kept increasing.

After several rounds of bidding, the price had already reached 2 lakh.

This herb was exactly what Mansi wanted.

Tina had already told her—

"Mansi, you can buy this and make soup for Mr. Mahendra.

It will be very good for his health.

If you do that, you'll look like perfect daughter-in-law material.

He'll be even more impressed when he sees how caring you are."

Mansi wanted to buy it too,

but the bids were already very high.

She pressed the 10,000 button many times,

but every time, someone else increased the price even more.

After failing again and again,

Mansi finally took a risk.

She pressed the 1 lakh button twice.

The entire room went silent.

This was the first time this item had reached 2.5 lakh.

"2,50,000… once."

"2,50,000… twice."

"2,50,000… three times."

"Sold! Congratulations—Box Number 19.

The Heart Revive bottle is yours."

Sejal couldn't believe her eyes.

Nidhi's leftover medicine had been sold for 2.5 lakh.

She looked at Nidhi and asked with a mischievous smile,

"Nidhi, next time… can I bring that leftover material with me?"

"If I give it to you,"

Nidhi smiled and asked,

"do you even know how to use it properly?"

"You can help me with that,"

Sejal replied quickly.

On the other side, in Room Number 19,

Mansi was almost dancing as she hugged Tina tightly.

"Oh my God! Thank you, thank you so much!

You have no idea how big a favor you've done for me today.

A best friend should be just like you!

Now no one can stop me from becoming the daughter-in-law of the Malhotra family!"

Tina could clearly see the happiness in Mansi's eyes.

Smiling, she said,

"Go to Grandpa as soon as possible and work your magic."

Just then, the screen lit up with images of green, fresh plants.

They looked ordinary at first glance, but everyone knew they were extremely expensive.

"The starting price is 1 lakh rupees,"

the announcement echoed.

Yug already knew that his boss needed this item at any cost.

Without hesitation, he pressed the button and placed a direct bid of 10 lakh.

The moment such a huge amount appeared on the screen,

everyone was shocked.

But the people in the other boxes were not ready to give up so easily.

The bidding began again.

"25 lakh."

"30 lakh."

"35 lakh."

"40 lakh."

Watching the price rise so fast, Sejal turned to Nidhi and asked,

"Nidhi, how much can we bid?"

"Add another 10 lakh,"

Nidhi replied calmly.

Sejal pressed the button.

In no time, the price jumped from 1 lakh to 50 lakh.

Suddenly, the entire hall fell silent.

50 lakh for just one plant.

And there were only six plants in total.

That meant the total price could easily cross 3 crore.

Because of this, no one dared to raise the bid further.

Just when Nidhi and Sejal thought they had won—

A new bid appeared from Box Number One.

"60 lakh."

Silence filled the hall once again.

Nidhi and Sejal hadn't expected the person in Box One to increase the bid so easily.

But Nidhi, sitting in Box Number Three, wasn't ready to lose either.

"70 lakh,"

she raised the bid.

"80 lakh,"

Box Number One responded instantly.

"90 lakh,"

Box Number Three countered in anger.

"One crore,"

Box Number One.

Now everyone could clearly feel the intense battle between Box One and Box Three.

The people sitting in Box Number Two looked extremely awkward,

as if they were stuck between two powerful giants.

"Nidhi, we can't bid any higher,"

Sejal said anxiously.

She looked toward Box Number One and added in a worried tone,

"We need to be careful of the people sitting in that box."

"We can save Grandma Kamini's life with this plant,"

Nidhi said firmly.

Then she increased the bid again.

"Another 10 lakh."

"I need this today, no matter the cost."

When Box Number Three raised the bid once again,

everyone was stunned.

No one had expected someone to spend so much money on a single plant.

"Who are these people, sir?"

Yug asked, looking at Shubham, who was sitting on the sofa.

"The price has already gone far beyond market value.

Should we continue bidding?"

"Continue,"

Shubham said calmly.

"Maintain the gap."

The moment he heard this, Yug immediately placed another bid.

30 lakh more.

"Box Number One has placed a bid of 1 crore 40 lakh,"

the automated voice announced.

Sejal clenched her fists in frustration.

"What is going on?

They're just plants!

Who are these fools spending such insane money?

Do they grow money on trees?

One crore forty lakh for a single plant!

That means 8 crore 40 lakh for all six plants!"

At that moment, a new bid appeared from Box Number Three.

"1 crore 50 lakh."

Sejal turned to Nidhi, trying to stop her.

"Nidhi, don't be stupid.

Don't lose your senses in excitement.

Even if they process these plants and sell the medicine,

they won't earn more than 6 crore.

They'll still suffer a loss of 3 crore."

Just as Sejal and Nidhi waited for the next bid from Box One—

Suddenly, Shubham's phone rang.

It was Uncle Kailash,

the man who always took care of Mr. Mahendra.

"Shubham beta… something has gone wrong,"

Kailash said anxiously.

"Miss Mansi brought soup for sir.

But the moment he drank it,

he developed a high fever."

"The doctors say his condition is worsening.

His heartbeat is slowing down.

I didn't want to disturb you, but—"

Before Kailash could finish,

Shubham shouted in anger.

"What did she give Grandpa to drink?"

"She said it was a kind of tonic,"

Kailash replied nervously.

"She mixed it into the soup, saying it would improve his heart condition."

"And you just stood there and watched?"

Shubham roared.

"I'm sorry, sir.

He was very happy and didn't listen to me at all.

He insisted and drank the soup,"

Kailash spoke quickly, clearly sensing Shubham's rage.

Shubham stood up abruptly, his face dark with anger,

and started walking toward the exit.

"Sir… should we continue the bidding?"

Yug asked, following him.

But seeing Shubham's expression,

Yug immediately understood.

This call had definitely come from the hospital.

He asked nervously,

"Is everything okay at the hospital?

Big Boss… is he alright?"
