Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 Buy gifts

Natalie sneered, her red lips curled slightly, but her voice was icy: "I won't pick up trash from the trash can again."

That is, she won't meet the person she doesn't want to see again.

The man's expression changed slightly.

"I'll say it again for the last time, please don't bother me anymore, Mr. Samuel. I don't want to play this boring game with you over and over again. Besides, you now have a woman by your side; saying such words to me is really a bastard."

After saying that, she turned around and left.

But this time, he didn't even dare to grab her.

Because everything she said was reasonable, he was the one who wanted to divorce her in the first place, and now he was the one who continued to bother her. Beside him was Lily, who never rested.

Thinking of that woman, Samuel's jet-black eyes instantly turned cold.

After recovering, Natalie's figure had disappeared.

The phone rang. It was Grandma calling, and he picked up the phone and put it to his ear.

"Come home tomorrow."

"Oh."

Here, after Natalie left the villa, he stopped the car and went straight to the hotel.

On the way, Nathaniel called her. She just glanced at it and put the phone aside, not intending to answer it.

The driver glanced through the rearview mirror and asked, "Girl, who called you? Why didn't you answer?"

She frowned slightly: "Fraudulent call."

"Then hang up, it's annoying."

Just after complaining, the phone's ringing stopped abruptly.

When she arrived at the hotel, Natalie received another call from Charlie. This time, she pressed the connect button.

The other side was silent for a while, then a cold and deep voice rang out: "Natalie."

She heard the noise; her teeth clenched.

It was Nathaniel.

"Why didn't you answer my call just now?" Nathaniel's voice rang through the phone, sounding a little aggrieved.

Natalie took a deep breath and said softly, "I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you in the car just now."

"Yeah." The man's voice dropped; she didn't know if he believed it. "Have you found a place to stay yet?"

"Yeah, brother, I'm a little sleepy. I'll go wash my face first, I'll hang up."

The other side was silent for a few seconds before hearing a small "um" sound.

After hanging up, she turned the phone upside down on the table, her beautiful eyes flashing with sadness.

She couldn't face Nathaniel with a normal heart anymore. She was afraid that Nathaniel would fall deeper and deeper. This was the only way for him to realize that she only had brotherly feelings for him. She hoped that he could let go as soon as possible.

The next day, Natalie went to the mall to buy a gift for Grandma Morgan.

The turquoise bracelet she had been waiting for was suddenly pressed down, and the person who came was Lily.

"Natalie, I also like this bracelet. Can you give it to me?" Lily looked at her provocatively.

She sneered, turned her head, her face arrogant and disdainful, her red lips slightly parted: "No."

"But I will give it to Grandma Morgan. She likes this turquoise bracelet the most. She treated you very well before."

"So what?" Natalie sneered, "I hate being interrupted the most. Once it makes me uncomfortable, I won't be able to keep quiet. I won't hide the secret in my heart. I hope to be with others. Share it with them, just like seven years ago. What do you think? Miss Lily."

Mentioning seven years ago, Lily's expression suddenly changed.

She glanced at her indifferently, curled her lips in mockery, then handed a black card from her pocket to the cashier.

After leaving the store, Lily chased after her outside.

"Stop."

"Natalie." She shouted softly.

Natalie froze, turned around, her face full of anger, "Lily, don't be so brazen."

Lily tore off the mask on her face, revealing a crazy and distorted expression, "Are you talking about seven years ago? Do you want revenge?"

She shook her head, her eyes flashing with sympathy.

This expression made Lily completely angry.

"Natalie. No matter what kind of young lady you are, you have already divorced Samuel. Please stay away from him, don't bother us anymore, okay?"

Speaking up to here, her eyes suddenly turned red, looking like she was being bullied: "I beg you, I really can't live without him."

Her voice wasn't loud, but it was enough to attract the crowd on the street.

The audience was inherently biased towards the weak; this time, they all stood on Lily's side.

A well-intentioned person spoke up: "What's wrong? Did she steal your husband?"

Lily bowed her head in silence, just standing there quietly. This action further aroused the sympathy of some of the female compatriots present; they began to criticize.

Natalie smiled gently, the corners of her lips slightly raised, revealing a sarcastic smile: "Miss Lily, do you want me to tell everyone the truth?"

"What truth?"

"No, we misunderstood, right?"

"No way, don't listen to this woman's nonsense."

Lily looked at the woman with a confident expression from afar, her heart suddenly tightened, and she suddenly remembered that this woman also had a similar expression at the banquet. Making her insanely jealous.

Why was she the Natalie that everyone was staring at, and would she definitely be overshadowed by her halo? Samuel's grandmother was like that, and Samuel was like that now.

But she knew that Natalie was not someone who would take the time to explain, which was why she dared to speak bluntly here.

But... this time, it seemed like she had miscalculated.

Seeing the half-smile in the woman's eyes, she was startled, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

Before she could think, the woman she thought she would never explain spoke up.

"Since you want to fight against injustice so much, then I want to ask you, before my ex-husband and I divorced, this woman pretended to be my ex-husband's lover, and danced in front of me every day. Please tell me, what is her purpose? What is your intention, Lily?"

When her voice fell to the ground, the crowd sighed.

The person who was still defending Lily suddenly blushed, looking at the weak woman standing there, "What's wrong?"

Lily's face turned pale, her fingertips dug into her flesh, but she didn't seem to feel any pain; her eyes were still fixed on Natalie.

"I didn't say anything, you just misunderstood."

"Who are you?"

"Just fooling everyone."

Natalie glanced at her, then gently avoided her gaze. Walking on high heels.

Lily was left alone in the crowd.

Because the shopping mall was quite far away, she arrived at Samuel's villa around noon.

The Morgan house's butler recognized her and hurriedly went up to greet her.

She handed the gift in her hand to the butler and walked in.

She thought today was just a simple meeting, but it was so crowded.

Seeing her coming, Mrs. Morgan smiled and waved: "Let's go, Natalie."

Natalie turned around, smiled, and walked towards the old lady.

When she arrived at Grandma Morgan's side, she saw that Samuel was also there.
