Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Inazuma Tengu's Fury, You Actually Treat the General as Spoils of War

The diary's footage came to an end here.

The women watching the diary were all plunged into a daze.

That Traveler from beyond the world had actually defeated Inazuma's god so effortlessly?

This wasn't just shocking for Inazuma—it was like a bolt from the blue for anyone.

Jueyun Karst.

The blue-and-white crane stared blankly at the diary, now back to normal, still unable to snap out of the footage.

As a Liyue adeptus who had followed Rex Lapis since the Archon War, Xianyun knew Raiden Ei better than most.

After the Archon War ended, the Seven Archons of the mortal world were born, and each nation's Archon would come to Liyue every year to raise a glass together.

Back then, Raiden Ei hadn't yet become Inazuma's Archon, but she was the only one who could sit at the table with them without holding an Archon title.

"In my memory, she was one of the most formidable among the Archons."

"Aside from the Emperor, no one could match her."

Xianyun shuddered all over.

Such a powerful Electro Archon had fallen just like that, so easily?

The power from beyond this world was truly terrifying.

.....

It wasn't until Raiden Ei's body plummeted into the sea that Su Xuan snapped out of his earlier embarrassment.

With a sweep of telekinesis downward, he quickly locked onto her position.

He simply raised his hand.

Raiden Ei's body leaped out of the sea and slowly floated back to Su Xuan's side.

He had no time to notice the exposed curves of her chest.

Su Xuan hurriedly checked her over and sighed in relief only after confirming she was merely unconscious.

[Good thing she's just passed out.]

[Though, I did panic earlier.]

[Archons unleash powerful grudges upon death.]

[Though called grudges, they're really just terrifying energy that wreaks havoc on everything around.]

[Shadow was clearly so peaceful just now—I should've known she wasn't dead...]

Narukami Grand Shrine.

Yae Miko, who had been utterly stunned, finally saw the diary update.

Upon reading that Raiden Ei was merely unconscious, the fox girl's heart, which had nearly collapsed, finally eased a little.

"That nearly scared my heart to a stop."

"As long as Shadow's fine." Yae Miko stroked her chest, steadying her breathing.

[My bout with Raiden Ei is over.]

[Thinking back after the fight, I did go a bit too hard.]

[After all, the Archons of Teyvat Continent come with built-in debuffs from wear and tear.]

[After thousands of years, Raiden Ei's abilities and mental strength are far from their peak.]

[I kinda bullied her.]

The women: *Bullying... a god?*

[But in a world like Teyvat Continent, full of supernatural powers, isn't it all about whose fist is harder?]

[This world was snatched from the Dragon Sovereigns by Celestia, after all.]

[All by the power of hard fists.]

[Since Raiden Ei lost to me, she's my spoils of war.]

[Yeah, that makes perfect sense.]

The women: *Speechless.*

Shogunate Army Camp.

Kujou Sara shot to her feet in fury. "That damned outsider dares treat General as spoils of war? I..."

But remembering how even Raiden Ei had been effortlessly defeated by Su Xuan, the loyal tengu deflated like a punctured ball and slumped back into her chair.

[Fallen Thunderlight.jpg]

Kujou Sara glanced at the diary again, and upon seeing Su Xuan's photo, her anger reignited like a blaze.

In the photo,

Su Xuan had the unconscious Raiden Ei tucked under one arm at his waist, flashing a row of white teeth and throwing up a victorious peace sign.

As if declaring his triumph over Raiden Ei to every diary replica holder.

"Damn... that bastard..."

Narukami Grand Shrine.

Unlike Kujou Sara's impotent rage, Yae Miko calmly sipped her tea before setting down her cup with a sigh. "We agreed it was just a test swing."

"One swing led to another, and he ended up running off with our General."

Her gaze lingered on the words [Celestia].

Thinking of how Su Xuan claimed he'd unlock even more power over time, the pink-haired fox felt a numbing tingle run through her fur, like a jolt of electricity.

"His background is definitely not as simple as he claims."

Taking a deep breath, she finally looked at the photo Su Xuan posted.

Seeing Raiden Ei's chest modestly censored by snowflake-like artifacts, Yae Miko smirked.

"He doesn't intend to kill Shadow, anyway."

"As long as he returns her safe, sound, and with her wits intact, he can do whatever else he wants."
