Angelica sat awake with such force that she was struck with severe dizziness, so she closed her eyes took a deep breath counted one to three then with a loud exhale she opened her eyes and took a good look at her surroundings, she was in a cave, well designed and maintained. She noticed the chairs and bed even the one she slept in were made purely with the earth element and it was meticulously crafted by someone gifted in the art of creation.
Angelica was so invested in the cave she was in, she didn't realize someone else was in the cave with her until she heard a voice behind her " you really shouldn't be getting up not unless you want your wounds to open up " she turned around so fast that she fell off from the bed and hit the ground.
Ouch Angelica said in pain as she located the source of the voice, and she was stunned into silence as she gazed upon the most beautiful face she had ever seen his white hair that tried and failed to hide his perfect golden pupils Angelica opened her mouth to speak at least she tried to "I … I...I…"
the beautiful angel spoke "sorry Is that anyway to speak to your savior " Angelica's face turned fully red before she took a deep breath to compose herself and then she said "I'm sorry I don't remember much of what happened after"

Cassius had been watching the whole time from the moment angelica transformed into a blood armored warrior to when Dillon became an embodiment of what she called a calamity and then to when she finally killed him, it was a glorious battle which he though was over until he felt it, that shift in ether, a foul presence one whose entire existence was spreading decay to its surroundings and existence as a whole a being Angelica called a wendigo.
Cassius watched as the wendigo demolished the now spent Angelica in a matter of seconds and then with its claws stabbed her in the stomach and lifted her off the ground, it intended to rip her to pieces and feast on her remains that's when he decided to act

the sound of a small pebble hitting his back caused the wendigo to freeze it made an expression of 'what the fuck was that' before it turned to see who or what had the audacity to throw a pebble at it.
But when it looked in the direction the pebble came from there was no one there so it turned its attention back to his feast only to realize his feast was gone and that's when it heard a voice from above.
" You know you really should pay attention to what you eat, we don't want you getting any bigger now do we?"
And that's when it saw them sitting on the branch of a tree that had managed to survive the destruction of the recent battle a boy with white hair wearing clothes made from the skin of beast and held in his hands, the girl it planned to eat.
Grawr the wendigo roared in rage at the fact that its meal was stolen from it and not by another predator but another human, so it charged and with a swipe of its claws sent the tree was diced to pieces.
But just before the wendigo could walk towards the destroyed tree it heard the same voice again from another tree
"I may not know much of what you are, but one thing is sure your ether it disgusts me so I Cassius will grant you death"
And that's when thee wendigo performed an action that shocked Cassius it made a dozen clicking sounds in a matter of seconds and then it spoke "An ant still at the genesis rank speak such big words, have I slumbered for so long that even ants now believe themselves to be dragons"
"well would you look at that, I'm guessing not many people of this world know you are capable of intelligence? Since you can speak the girl, she called you a wendigo what is that?" Cassius spoke with pure curiosity in his eyes
"of this world? What a strange saying…. we wendigo's are calamities born from the greed of humans and our abilities grow stronger every time we consume human flesh buts that not all we also gain knowledge from every person we have eaten or who has accepted our power that's why I can speak it's also how I know the cultivation realms of humans start from the genesis rank ; this rank being the weakest which is followed by the source rank,

Cassius jumped down from the tree and walked up to a nearby boulder there he placed Angelica behind it and then he faced the wendigo with a calm expression and said "you are an interesting creature I would have loved to have kept you but sadly we are out of time but you are right though as I am, not sure I can match an expert or a monster like you at the arcane ran but you are not really here are you?, you manifested in a vessel that was completely battered, how long do you think you can last against me? After all I am something, this world has never seen"
"Let's find out, shall we?" the wendigo snarled and then it moved slamming its giant claws toward Cassius face intending to rip his head clean off his shoulders but instead he raised his arm using it to guard his head

the blow was packed with such force the ground quaked as spider web cracks formed beneath their feet dust kicked off the ground covering the area with dust as the two collided and began exchanging blows
A battle between a calamity and a monster never expected to be, they moved with such speed and strength that in a matter of seconds the battle was decided

A wet ripping sound echoed as the dust finally died down to reveal the wendigo its claws aimed right at Cassius eyes, but it was Cassius hand covered with lightning that had gone through its back holding a heart completely covered with black goo that made him the victor.
"What are you?" the wendigo asked its body breaking apart into tiny pieces
"its like I said I am something this world has never seen" Cassius said as the body of the wendigo broke apart the wind scattering its remains leaving only its goo covered heart in his hands.
Cassius walked towards the boulder where he kept Angelica the shockwave of their fight had spared but her injuries were worsening so he carried and ran towards the cave he called home.

"you were dying, the wendigo was already on its last legs after inhabiting a broken vessel so with just a few tricks I managed to kill it and then I brought you here and used some medicinal herbs that I could find to treat your wounds that was five days ago" that's what happened Cassius said to Angelica who was seating down on his bed
Cassius walked over to her and checked on her wounds before he looked at her face that had gone bright red "your injuries are almost healed, and you are strong enough to answer questions so tell me about this world and the creatures you call calamities"
