"I'm telling you I saw a pillar of light burst from the ground into the sky, it lit up the earth just as the stars shine above." a young man said as he struggled to pull a large cart into the forest.
"And how sure are you it's a treasure Gill? It could have been a trick of light with how bright the stars are." another figure pushing the cart from behind asked
"And I'm telling you Rick it's a treasure… and if we manage to get it, this could be the key for our breakthrough and hopefully what will allow us to gain entrance into the zenith academy."
"Seriously Gill do you really think whatever we find will allow us to compete with the scions of the great houses? I know you are a dreamer and I respect you for that, but no magical treasure will allow you to be on equal footing with those monsters."
"Then why did you come with me Rick? if you knew there was no treasure… why did you come with me?"
"Because you idiot, you are my brother and I'm always there to watch your back even when you do stupid things like wander into the den of the silver horned wolves."

Howl
Gill was about to continue telling rick about the location of the treasure when they heard it a loud howl and before they could say anything, they felt it "it can't be" they both murmured , with a terrified expression on their face… there was no mistaking that feeling of dread that was the aura of a tier two silver horned wolf.
Both men turned to flee when the earth suddenly shook, and a wave of dust washed over them
Bang Bang Bang
Gill hurriedly spat out as he had mistakenly opened his mouth when the wave of dust washed over them before he said to Rick who nodded along "looks like someone or something is already confronting the tier two alpha let's see if we can grab the treasure"
the closer they got to the battlefield the louder the sounds became and that's when both Gill and Rick saw something that made their face freeze in fear, they were surrounded by corpses of about two dozen silver horned wolves.
What the hell? Slipped out of gills mouth the some of the corpses were burnt to a crisp, some impaled with ice spears or earth spikes but most of them were charged with lightning or had their heads crushed into mush. 'Just what could do something like this' Gill whispered
"I guess something like that" rick said as he pointed to the source of the collision Gill turned and saw the tier two silver horned alpha wolf in battle with a young warrior with white hair and it was brutal
They were going at it toe to toe, fist and claws blurring together as both parties sought to end the other.
SNAP
the alpha wolf swung its claw at the white hair warrior who simply moved out of the way like it was nothing causing the beast to snap a large tree in half.
To Rick the battle looked like it was going to end quickly in favor of the giant alpha wolf but that all changed when the white haired warrior summoned a blazing long sword, it's very presence caused the temperature in the surroundings to rise and they watched as the warrior leaped on the trunk of a tree and using it as a foothold he channeled ether to his legs and jumped.
The tree cracked and splintered as the white-haired warrior leapt from it with such force and power that the beast leaping high intending to decapitate the warrior in a single bite failed to react until it was too late.

Even from where they stood Gill and Rick heard it, that flesh piercing sound and as the white-haired warrior landed on the ground gracefully without even kicking up dust and calmly dispersed the blazing sword only then did the head of the tier two silver horn wolf fall from its shoulders.
'We have to leave now' Gill whispered any thought of treasure far from his mind now as he would be a fool to contest with someone that just slayed a tier two beast
rick nodded in agreement and as they both turned to leave, they were met face to face with the white-haired warrior standing Infront of them
"arrghh" they cried out in shock as just by meeting his gaze they were met with a pair of golden eyes that slammed them with an unimaginable terror it was like they were being stared at by something greater than them, something they didn't understand.
Gill was just about to open his mouth when the white-haired warrior waved his hand and with swift motion green vines burst from the ground and wrapped themselves tightly around gill and rick, constricting them to the extent that they found it difficult to breath.
Rick spoke out loud in a hurry listen dude we had no intention of messing with you in any form just let us be on our way and there would be no problems.
The white-haired warrior looked at them his golden eyes peering into them to gill and rick they had this feeling of all their secrets being uncovered, before his gaze they were an open book and then he spoke " it's rude you know spying on someone without declaring your intentions, why were you spying on me?"
Gill refused to answer as he constantly struggled against the vines but the more he struggled, the tighter they became seeing as Gill was busy getting tied up, rick answered in his place " we saw a beam of light that rose to the sky and thinking it was the birth of an ether treasure we came to have a look"
the white-haired warrior looked at them for a few seconds before he waved his hand, and the earth began to rise and take the shape of large chair he sat down crossing his legs as he stared at his captive before he said, " do I look like a fool?"
"No", they both replied with Gill realizing that struggling was a futile effort there was no hope of escape.
