Jisong's hands and feet went cold. He read the message over and over again. 📩⚠️ "He isn't the savior you think he is." Who could it be? And how did they know Jisong was with Yeonjun at that exact moment? Jisong immediately dialed the number, but the phone was switched off. 📵
Investigation in the Lab 📚🕵️♂️
Jisong felt as if someone within the college was watching his every move. The next morning, he headed straight to the computer lab. His friend, Min-ho, was an expert in coding and hacking.
Jisong: "Min-ho, can you trace the location of this number? I received a very strange message yesterday."
Min-ho pulled off his earphones and ran a few codes on the screen. 💻⌨️
Min-ho: "Friend, this number is encrypted... but wait a second... its last active location yesterday afternoon shows it was near the JS Group Headquarters."
Jisong's heart sank. That meant the person was there, inside the very same building! 🏢😱
Walls Have Ears 👂🚪
Jisong decided to return to JS Group, but this time, not as a worker—but as a spy. Using the excuse of signing his scholarship documents, he managed to reach the floor where Yeonjun's office was located.
The hallway was silent, but a faint voice was coming from Secretary Kim's cabin. Jisong hid behind the door. 👤
Secretary Kim (on the phone): "Yes, Chairman... Park Jisong was here. Master Yeonjun is granting him the scholarship. I am making sure that the old secret never comes out. If he finds out about 'that night,' everything will be over." 🤫🔥
Jisong's breath hitched. 'That night'? What secret? Suddenly, there was a rustle behind him.
"You told me you wouldn't work for me... so what are you doing here?"
Jisong spun around quickly. Yeonjun was standing right there, his eyes looking darker and deeper than ever. 🌑✨ He pinned Jisong against the wall, placing both hands on either side of his face.
Yeonjun (in a low, dangerous voice): "Are you spying on me, Jisong? Or is it just becoming too difficult for you to stay away from me?" ⏳💓
Jisong's phone slipped from his hand and hit the floor. The screen was still open on that warning message. Yeonjun's eyes fell on the text... and his expression shifted in a split second. 😠💢
The Twist 🌪️
Yeonjun picked up the phone. As he read the message, he gripped the device so hard it looked like it might shatter in his fist.
Yeonjun: "So... he finally found you."
Jisong (trembling): "W-Who? Yeonjun, tell me the truth! What are you hiding from me?"
Yeonjun looked into Jisong's eyes; his harshness softened slightly, but the shadow of worry grew.
Yeonjun: "The person who sent you this message... he isn't a threat to me. He is the greatest danger to you." ⚠️🌑
