Cecilia Adler brought the two children to see him off. She took the initiative to promise, "Ian, wait for me for a year. If the business restrictions aren't lifted by next year, I'll sell the shampoo formula and go find you."
She had thought it over carefully. Instead of sitting around waiting for the policies to open up, it would be better to venture out into the world. If she could save up some money, bringing it back as start-up capital would be even better. Furthermore, she had just gotten her driver's license. If she didn't work at the transport unit, wouldn't she be wasting the government's efforts in training her?
The corners of Ian Quincy's lips curled up slightly. "That won't be necessary." He didn't want her to abandon her passions just to accompany him to an unfamiliar place. "I will finish my studies as soon as possible and come back to you."
