After we arrived, we immediately went back to work.
Several orders for the new mirrors required Lion's attention and he soon became absorbed in his work in one of workrooms.
Sly went back to visit the grill food shop and the ice cream shop while Ghost went out saying that he had another mission that he had to do. He grumbled that he would quit that job soon since he barely earned decent income from it. Business is good, he declared loudly. He planned to quit his other job soon.
Pinky is getting more relaxed these days and he spends more time at the garden though he always stayed by my side whenever I sleep. I'm getting a bit afraid that he might turned into a regular tree soon but Lion assured me that as long magic is there, Pinky won't change since he absorbs magical energy from the environment.
Now I'm alone again.
I'm a bit comfortable around Sly lately. He gets along with me easily though he teases me from time to time. He doesn't harm me and is quite laid-back. He does a great job with the businesses and sometimes give insightful suggestions.
He suggested on adding another magic user in our group since Lion will soon experience burn out if he does everything by himself.
He also added that I should plan on opening my own healing hut just like Puma.
I told him that I'm planning on it. He assured me that he will do all the necessary stuff that I need.
For now, I'm designing several frame designs.
Creatures have unique facial structure here and some had a lot of eyes so it is necessary for me to personalize some of the designs. They aren't too particular with how it looks but I made it attractive enough that it will fascinate other creatures as well.
I do need Puma's help in making eye medicine. I'm lacking knowledge in the necessary ingredients since I'm not yet used to the herbs, leaves, liquids or whatever she used to make medications especially the eye drops.
Also, I need to start designing some eye equipment soon.
Ahhh now I'm busy too.

Sly told me that he sent a scroll to Puma about my predicament and she replied that she would send some of her eldest offsprings to help me. Of course I know for a fact that she might make more offsprings soon.
Lion is still stuck inside the workroom and Sly told me that I should not disturb him since he looked quite aggravated the last time he checked on him.
The ice cream shop and the grill food shop has creatures working there so Sly has a bit of free time to keep me company.
I soon began to enjoy his presence since he is quite interesting to talk to.
Even though his tongue still freaks me out.
He asked me about my previous world and I told him everything, especially the food since he is quite interested in that topic.
He pleaded with me to design the things used to cook food back on earth. He promised me that he would find a magic user soon so that we can make more new stuff.
He suddenly became silent and warned me in a low voice that I should be careful and not to design too much. Changes happen slowly in this world and there are many out there that wanted the world to remain as is. I should also be vigilant since Lion has a lot of enemies too because he is one of the best magic users in this territory.
With a teasing look, he told me that he knows how Lion is planning to make me his mate.
Then with a grim look, he also told me that I am very valuable for a lot of reasons and that I should make sure that I should not be alone. If Lion is not around then either him or Sly should be with me. They aren't very powerful unlike Lion but they can manage to put up a fight. Pinky doesn't count.
If I had met you earlier, I would have made you my mate instead, Sly told me with a quietly.
No. I don't think I would have agreed.
He looks attractive but I still don't like looking at his tongue.
I asked him curiously on how they chose their mate.
I don't believe I am beautiful.
In fact, I looked regular way back on earth. I was always the wallflower whenever there are dancing events when I was in college. I don't believe I am ugly but I just looked like a background character you usually see in the graphic romance novels. The kind that has the generic long brown hair and brown eyes. Just one of the many ordinary citizens on earth.
Sly thought for a while and asked me on how humans get attracted to someone back on earth.
I told him it's usually the physical appearance.
He looked taken aback with my statement.
I mumbled an explanation on how I am just ordinary looking person on earth.
Shaking his head, Sly told me that humans are foolish enough to base their life mate in just physical attraction.
Oh no, I hurriedly told him. It is not just in life mate, I explained to him the concept of relationships back on earth. He raised his eyebrows in couples before marriage, sniggered in the part where there are dating groups that do speed dating and how there are even host clubs that you pay someone to entertain you.
At the last part, he looked grim. He told me that they have a place like that in other territory only the creatures that entertained you, don't get paid. They are treated harshly by their owners.
It is an awful place to go, he said quietly. Still there are twisted creatures who liked that sort of thing. Especially you. You should be careful since they liked exotic creatures that they have not seen before.
Same like on earth. Even if you are not that attractive, you would end up in similar situations if you are not careful.
Suddenly serious, Sly told me that I am attractive and that i should be proud of that. Everyone is attractive in their own way and it's our personality and uniqueness that attracts a mate.

Ghost finally came back.
He triumphantly announced to me and Sly that he quit his job. Sly looked shocked at the revelation.
I wondered loudly why it should be shocking news about changing careers.
Sly explained to me that in this world, their career are their purpose of living and as such, they would serve their purpose during the entire duration of their lives.
It was unheard of quitting jobs while you are still alive.
It turned out that both Lion and Ghost are simultaneously doing business and their current work.
No wonder Lion looked moody sometimes.
We definitely need to find a magic user soon.
I asked Ghost why Lion won't quit his current job. Both Sly and Ghost looked at each other before telling me that Lion is in contract with one of the highest beings in this territory.
Being in contract means that he will die, get killed or be destroyed if he breaks it.
And no, he can't destroy the contract with his magic because of something that Ghost and Sly cannot properly explain.
That's why Lion even though he contributed a lot in this territory with his magic, he can't leave his career.
Sly told me that he had no career before since he had just matured recently.
It turns out that he is younger than Ghost and Lion. I don't know much about the estimation on how our age gap is but we are nearer in age than Ghost or Lion.

Ghost helped a lot after changing his careers. He took over Sly's responsibilities temporarily while Sly took some time off to find another magic user.
I am looking forward to opening my own eye clinic soon.
