The days went by fast.
The grill food shop became more popular ever since Sly introduced putting condiments on the meat. We made a lot of income from it.
The castle became less empty, as Lion bought a lot of much needed furniture.
Ghost happily spent his share with a bunch of random stuff that started to fill his room. Lion refused to expand his room while Ghost is in dismay.
Sly made some sort of shopping spree, buying all sorts of shiny things. I guess dragons really enjoyed shiny things based on myths.
Of course we shared some of the profits with Orm, Nyma and Puoma. They also helped whenever they have free time. Orm happily declared to me that this will be his forever home and much better than his old home.
I often wondered how he was treated in his former home.
Nyma pledged her loyalty to me while Puoma told me that she is willing to work with no breaks. I thanked Nyma for her declaration while I told Puoma that I appreciate the thought but she should rest once in a while or else she will get sick.
She looked confused with my statement and told me that she knows how to make medicine so there's no problem after all.
I honestly don't have a reply for that.
Nyma and Puoma decided to take a break and visit their old home. I agreed and they hurriedly bought lots of stuff to take back home. Sly offered them to bring them home while they happily hugged him out of gratitude. They are getting along quite well.
Since there are 5 of us left with too much work, we all decided to take a break.
But what should we do? Sly asked.
Ghost shrugged his shoulders, telling him that it is also his first time to take a break.
Orm thought for a while before asking me if I have visited other places besides the territory.
I told them that it is only the forest that I have visited and Orm, Ghost and Sly turned to look at Lion with a glare.
Lion confessed that he had been busy a lot and that his other work had been demanding too much of his time. But lately he noticed that he was given less tasks and so he eagerly took the opportunity to take a break.
Orm, with a smirk on his face, told Lion he is welcome not to take a break and that he will be the one to take me to a good place.
I've never seen Lion looked scary before and Sly hurriedly pulled me out the room. Ghost immediately followed without a glance towards the two magic users.

The three of us went to the garden to check on Pinky. Pinky moved his branches towards me, caressing my face as a sort of greeting and went back to being silent. He is growing more taller these days. Soon he will be too tall to stay with me inside the room. I suddenly felt sad.
Sly and Ghost noticed me getting sad and they tried to cheer me up. They both brought me near the wall and pointed at a certain distance.
Sly told me that place is very hot but have pleasant waters good for relaxing the body.
Ghost added that the place has lots of magical energy that replenishes the stamina of the magic users fast.
I became curious so I asked more information about the place.
After so many conflicting and confusing description, the place they suggested sounded more like a beach near the sea. I expected it doesn't look like the beach back on earth.
After thinking that Orm and Lion might benefit from the place, I decided to go there.
Ghost and Sly both rejoiced at my decision.
Before returning to our rooms, Sly stopped me and asked me if I have anything to wear. It is quite hot, he said. The forest is cold compared to the place we are going to.
Ghost had a mischievous look on his face and whispered to me that Lion might like it if I wear something similar like the one I wore dancing.
He chuckled and I turned red in the face.
Of course, he continued whispering to my ear, we also liked seeing you wear that too.
Cuss word.
I gave him a glare while he just laughed. Sly must have overheard the whisper since he looked at me seriously and told me that it may seemed funny but the place is quite hot. He told me to trust his advice.
He was never wrong except once so I hurriedly went inside my room and sat on the chair near my desk, designing my vacation clothes.
A naughty thought came to my mind.
I became quite daring to Lion and I remembered the incident back in our room in the clinic. My body suddenly became heated and all sorts of lusty thoughts came into my mind.
I wondered how it feels to have intercourse with Lion.

I hurriedly brought my magical notebook and pen in the bathroom while blood is dripping on the floor towards the bathroom.
I hurriedly removed my clothes and saw blood staining my legs and now dripping onto the floor.
I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my abdomen. No, no, no, no!!! Not dysmenorrhea!
I sob loudly while trying to draw something on my notebook but failed as the pain was too intense.
I collapsed near the bathtub and feeling faint, I closed my eyes while crying.
I don't know what to do. I can barely stand up. I cried loudly as the pain intensified.
Suddenly, Lion appeared looking shocked at all the blood that was on the floor. I saw him looking terrified as he tried to get the sense of the situation.
He hurriedly approached me and told me that he is going to summon Puma.
A sudden wave of pain and my crying intensified.
Now Lion's hands are shaking as he tried to summon Puma.
A bright light surrounded the room and I fainted.

I woke up feeling tired.
The pain was gone but is replaced with fatigue.
I noticed that I feel clean and I am wearing clothes.
I touched my lower part and noticed a thick bandage covering me there.
I need to invent napkins soon for my own need.
Puma soon appeared with a fresh set of bandages. She smiled at me and told me that I would feel better soon after some much needed rest.
She must have noticed me looking for Lion and she told me that Lion is in his room.
I must have a confused look on my face since Puma guffawed at my reaction.
It turns out that when they found out where the blood is coming from, Lion had a strange reaction and told her to take care of me while he hurriedly went outside.
She told me that some female creatures, when they are in heat, bleed a lot, signaling the need for intercourse from their mates.
Ah.
As for the pain, Puma said that she will take care of me as she will give me something to drink that will take away the pain.
After I drank the potion, Puma asked me about the cycle of human females as I'm the only human that existed in this world. I explained to her about everything and she looked amazed when I told her that usually we bleed every 30 days, give or take, though I reminded her that time flows differently here.
She exclaimed that humans are so lucky to have their cycle so fast but with creatures, they take years. That's why our bonding period lasted for a long time, she said while giving me a knowing look.
No wonder Lion had a strange reaction.
