Vigo Tarasov's expression darkened as he watched the video sent by his subordinate. He hadn't expected that, regarding John Wick, not only would Smith Doyle intervene, but even his personally hired assassin, Markus—registered with the Continental Hotel—would betray him.

Markus was both a registered Continental assassin and Vigo's subordinate.

Their relationship was similar to the one Vigo had with John Wick before John's retirement. Although subordinates, any assassination task had to follow the Continental's strict rules.

When Vigo issued a bounty on John Wick, he first approached Markus, offering $400 million to eliminate him. At the time, Vigo assumed any failure was due to a lack of opportunity or unsuccessful execution.

But he hadn't anticipated betrayal from his own man. Vigo was furious at external interference, but nothing enraged him more than disloyalty from his own subordinates.

"Damn it, Markus… I'll make sure he knows the consequences of betraying me."

At the same time, Vigo ordered his men to continue tracking Markus to find out where he was going. Upon learning that Markus was about to return home, Vigo immediately commanded his men to surround him, preparing to personally deal with this treacherous subordinate.

At that moment, Vigo's phone rang. Picking it up, he received a report from his subordinate:

"We've located Smith Doyle. He's driving toward the outskirts."

"Let him go," Vigo said.

Meanwhile, Fox was driving Smith to the textile factory, stopping at a red light at a T-junction.

"Is Smith's final assessment about to begin?"

Smith, sitting in the passenger seat, nodded:"The Crusaders sent a message: the final mission has been assigned. I need to return and gather the necessary information."

Hearing this, Fox's eyes lit up with excitement:"So once you complete this assessment, you'll become the leader of the Assassin Alliance—the one and only god—the God!"

Smith smiled:"Eighteen years of anticipation are about to come true."

As they spoke, a black SUV suddenly veered in from the side and crashed into their car. At the critical moment, Smith grabbed Fox to prevent injury.

"Crash!"

The vehicle was violently pushed to the roadside.

The sudden impact made Fox dizzy and nauseous, but she instinctively drew her pistol. As she aimed at the driver who hit them, another SUV rammed the front and rear of their car. The violent collision caused Fox to drop her weapon.

Inside the three attacking vehicles, half-naked men armed with submachine guns prepared to shoot at Fox and Smith.

In the critical moment, Smith kicked open the deformed car door and dragged Fox out.

"Rat-a-tat-tat!"

Bullets tore through the cabin, shredding an already battered vehicle. Smith pulled Fox under the car's wheel hub for cover.

"I'll handle them," Smith said.

Seizing a brief pause in the gunfire, Fox reached for her weapons stored in the passenger seat compartment.

Smith leapt onto the side of the first attacking vehicle and kicked the B-pillar with full force.

"Boom!"

The massive impact flipped the SUV, rolling it three times before it came to rest. The occupants were knocked unconscious, unable to escape.

The gunmen in the other two vehicles immediately aimed at Smith Doyle and fired.

Smith drew a short blade from his backpack and slashed at the bullets mid-air, splitting them in half before they hit the ground.

The shooters were stunned, screaming at the sight of knife-split bullets:"Monster! Drive! Get out of here!"

As they attempted to flee, Fox stood and fired two pistols at the shooters in the remaining vehicles.

"Rat-a-tat-tat!"

Bullets struck headshots, killing several instantly. Fox also eliminated the vehicle drivers on the spot.

Meanwhile, the men in the flipped SUV began to climb out; of the four, three were still alive. Smith ran up, grabbed one by the neck, and lifted him:"Tell me—who sent you?"

"Cough… cough…"

The man's face turned red, unable to speak. Smith slammed him to the ground and then addressed another:"Tell me—who are you?"

Only two remained of the three who had climbed out. One tried to flee, but Fox shot him in the back of the head.

Seeing the three attacking vehicles destroyed, the last shooter trembled:"We're part of the Russian gang—Vigo's men."

Upon learning this, Smith decapitated the other man with his blade."Vigo… I think your time is up."

Fox slowly approached, leaning against Smith:"Damn John Wick… he left us cleaning up this mess."

Smith embraced Fox. It was clear the collision had injured her. If it weren't for the collision insurance and the car's quality, she might have died on the spot.

Smith called the Assassin Alliance. The call connected quickly:"Cleanup crew, proceed to Klein Avenue intersection. Twelve vehicles of trash—three need clearing. Do it immediately."

After hanging up, Smith placed Fox in a nearby SUV, dumped the bodies from the previous attack, and drove toward the textile factory.

As for the Russian gang, they were no longer needed in New York. Vigo would die, and his entire crew would be eliminated.

At the Assassin Alliance headquarters, the textile factory gates opened. The cleanup crew, riding garbage trucks, headed toward Klein Avenue, just as Smith had instructed. They needed to clear the site before the police arrived.
