Chapter 10: A Perfect Day
The next day, Vihaan picked me up from my place, and we headed out to spend the day together. The sun was shining, and the air was filled with a sense of excitement and possibility.
We drove to a beautiful park, where we walked hand in hand, enjoying the scenery and each other's company. We talked about our dreams, our aspirations, and our passions. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and I felt like I'd known Vihaan forever.
As we strolled through the park, Vihaan suddenly stopped and turned to me. He looked nervous, and his eyes sparkled with excitement. "Janvi, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special," he said, his voice trembling with emotion. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"
Tears of joy filled my eyes as I nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!"
Vihaan slipped a beautiful diamond ring onto my finger, and we shared a passionate kiss as the sun shone down on us.
We decided to head back to Vihaan's house, where Aaradhya was waiting to congratulate us. She squealed with delight when she saw the ring and hugged us both tightly.
The three of us spent the rest of the day laughing, joking, and celebrating. We had a impromptu dance party, and Vihaan even taught Aaradhya and me some of his favorite dance moves.
As the night drew to a close, Vihaan and I sat on the couch, holding hands and watching the stars twinkling outside. Aaradhya had gone to bed, exhausted but happy.
"I love you," Vihaan whispered, his eyes shining with adoration.
"I love you too," I replied, feeling my heart full of joy and contentment.
As we sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that this was just the beginning of our happily ever after.Let's continue the story.
The next day, Vihaan and I headed to college, both of us still on cloud nine after the proposal. As we walked through the gates, everyone seemed to notice the sparkle in our eyes and the ring on my finger.
Congratulations poured in from all corners, and Vihaan couldn't stop smiling. Aaradhya, Priya, and I were mobbed by friends who wanted to see the ring and hear all about the proposal.
Just as things were dying down, one of Vihaan's friends, Rohan, approached us. He was known for his charming smile and smooth talk, and I had a feeling he was trouble.
"Hey, Vihaan, congrats, man!" Rohan said, clapping Vihaan on the back. "I heard you finally got hitched."
Vihaan smiled, but his eyes narrowed slightly. "Yeah, I did. Janvi's the love of my life."
Rohan turned to me, his eyes lingering on me a bit too long. "And she's definitely a catch. You must be thrilled, Janvi."
I felt a shiver run down my spine as Rohan's gaze made me uncomfortable. Vihaan noticed and wrapped his arm around me possessively.
"Thanks, Rohan," I said, trying to be polite.
But Rohan didn't seem to get the hint. He kept talking, his words dripping with flirtation, and Vihaan's anger grew. Finally, he'd had enough.
"Rohan, back off," Vihaan said, his voice low and menacing.
Rohan raised an eyebrow, a smirk on his face. "Oh, come on, Vihaan. I'm just congratulating your fiancée."
The tension between them was palpable, and I could sense a fight brewing. Vihaan's friends gathered around, sensing drama. "Vihaan, let's just ignore him," I whispered, trying to calm him down.
But Vihaan's anger had taken over. "You need to learn some boundaries, Rohan," he growled, his fists clenched.
The situation was escalating fast, and I didn't know how to stop it.
The air was electric with tension as Vihaan's anger boiled over. Rohan, still smirking, seemed to be enjoying the reaction he was getting. I knew I had to intervene before things got out of hand.
"Vihaan, please," I said, tugging on his arm. "Let's just go. He's not worth it."
But Vihaan was beyond reason. His eyes blazed with fury as he took a step closer to Rohan. "You're crossing a line, Rohan," he warned, his voice low and deadly.
Rohan sneered, but I saw a flicker of unease in his eyes. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots," he said, trying to sound nonchalant.
The situation was on the verge of escalating into a full-blown fight when Aaradhya stepped in, her voice calm and authoritative. "Hey, guys, let's not do this here. Vihaan, come on, let's go."
Vihaan's friends were getting restless, and I knew it wouldn't take much to set them off. Aaradhya's words seemed to snap Vihaan out of his rage, and he took a deep breath, his shoulders relaxing slightly.
"You're right," he said, his voice still tight with anger. "Let's go, Janvi."
I nodded, relieved, and Vihaan wrapped his arm around me, pulling me close. As we walked away, I could feel Rohan's eyes on us, but I refused to look back.
When we were safely away from the crowd, Vihaan let out a deep breath. "I'm sorry about that," he said, his eyes still flashing with anger. "Rohan's always been a bit of a jerk."
I smiled, trying to reassure him. "It's okay. I'm just glad you stood up for me."
Vihaan's expression softened, and he pulled me into a tight hug. "I'll always stand up for you, Janvi. You're mine, and I won't let anyone hurt you."
As we hugged, I felt a sense of safety and security wash over me. I knew that Vihaan would always be there to protect me, and that thought filled me with joy and gratitude. But little did I know, this was just the beginning of a new set of challenges that would test our love and commitment to each other.Let's continue the story.
As we walked away from the scene, Vihaan's anger still simmered beneath the surface. I could feel the tension radiating from his body, and I knew he wasn't done with Rohan yet.
When we reached the parking lot, Vihaan's grip on my hand tightened. "I'm going to take care of this," he said, his voice firm.
I knew better than to argue with him when he was in this mood. "Okay," I said, nodding. "But let's talk about it later, okay?"
Vihaan nodded, his jaw still clenched. "I'll take you home first. Then I'll deal with Rohan."
When we reached my place, Vihaan walked me to the door, his eyes still burning with anger. "I'll see you later, okay?" he said, his voice softening slightly.
I nodded, and he kissed me gently on the forehead before turning to leave.
The next day, I received a call from Aaradhya. "Hey, Janvi, you won't believe what happened," she said, her voice barely containing her excitement.
"What?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
"Rohan got expelled from college," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The principal called him into his office yesterday afternoon, and he was expelled on the spot."
I gasped, surprised. "What happened?"
"Apparently, Vihaan went to the principal's office and showed him the footage of the whole incident," Aaradhya said. "The principal didn't hesitate to expel Rohan after seeing how he behaved towards you."
I felt a mix of emotions - shock, relief, and a hint of fear. What would Rohan do now that he'd been expelled? And what would happen to Vihaan's reputation?
As I pondered these questions, my phone buzzed again. It was Vihaan. "Hey, just wanted to check in on you," he said, his voice calm and reassuring.
I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards him. "I'm fine, thanks to you," I said. "But what about you? What happened after you dropped me off?"
Vihaan chuckled. "Let's just say Rohan won't be bothering you again anytime soon," he said. "I'll tell you all about it when I see you tonight."
I smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. What would happen next? Only time would tell.
