Chapter 15 - Chapter [15] Tie Him Properly

She looked closely at the female character who had appeared.

"Oh… damn it."

"It's that bitch from the Human Kingdom."

The moment the woman appeared in the manga meant to save Elean, a strong sense of déjà vu washed over her. An unpleasant memory resurfaced.

"That's my Golden Light Flower. Why are you stealing it from me?"

"Because you are weak."

One year ago, inside a spatial rift, she had fought monsters day and night to protect a Golden Light Flower. Blood, exhaustion, and countless close calls—she endured all of it.

Finally, the flower bloomed, ready to be harvested.

That was when the beautiful woman appeared.

Because she was too weak to fight her, she could only watch helplessly as the woman snatched the Golden Light Flower and fled.

If she had consumed that flower back then, she would have already reached the early stage of high-grade strength.

Her hatred for that woman was immeasurable.

A few seconds later, her mind slowly calmed. It was only a story. That woman was not as soft-hearted as the characters in manga.

She resumed reading.

In the manga, after being saved by the red-haired woman, Elean found himself lying on a bed inside a village house.

A surge of memories flooded his mind. He had almost been cut in half.

Thank God someone helped me.

He stepped outside and saw the woman who had saved him speaking with the village head. She noticed him and walked over, carefully checking his wounds. Everything seemed fine.

The village head then approached and bowed deeply to Elean, thanking him for his help. Because Elean had been there, the village was no longer in danger.

As she watched the heartwarming scene unfold, her own heart softened.

Was it not the duty of every adventurer to protect others? Yet adventurers of the current capitalist age cared only about treasure and women.

Greedy. Lustful.

She kept turning the pages, completely forgetting that the Black Snake Guild was still searching for her.

In the manga, after Elean fully recovered, he traveled with the woman to the city.

During the journey, he learned that his benefactor was a former Archmage of the Magic Tower.

Her name was Anma.

After reaching the city and meeting the City Lord, they parted ways.

Elean then continued alone toward his destination the Great Forest.

She turned the page and realized Volume Two had ended.

It was a great volume, filled with intense battles, especially the fight between Elean and Ruhu.

She opened the next volume.

After the fierce battle with Devil General Ruhu, Elean began his journey toward the Elf Queendom.

His goal was clear. He wanted to learn the elves' unique healing techniques and their advanced methods of elemental control.

The path to the Great Forest was long, and when Elean finally stepped inside, nothing went as planned.

The forest was vast and unfamiliar.

Towering ancient trees blocked out the sky, their branches intertwining to form a natural ceiling. The deeper he traveled, the more twisted and confusing the paths became.

No matter which direction he chose, the scenery remained the same.

Before Elean realized it, he was completely lost.

Seeing this scene, she burst into laughter. Elean's sense of direction was even worse than a green-haired swordsman.

She quickly turned the page.

Outside the store, the sun had already set. Moonlight spilled across the streets.

The upper levels of Dungeon Town echoed with noise and unrest, yet the Fantasy Manga Store remained as calm as ever.

In the manga, Elean was suddenly surrounded by women with long ears and dark, pale skin. Bows were firmly gripped in their hands.

"What are you doing here in our sacred land?"

"I was lost in the forest."

"Do you take us for fools? Capture him and bring him before our goddess."

"Catch him."

That was how the main character was captured by the Dark Elf Tribe.

Elean stopped moving.

Dark Elf warriors emerged from the shadows, bows already drawn. Every arrow was aimed at him. He knew better than to resist.

He slowly raised his hands.

This was not how he imagined the Elf Queendom.

He had expected a peaceful forest—not this killing intent pressing against his skin.

Before he could say anything, vines burst from the ground and wrapped around his arms and legs.

The magic was clean and practiced. Fighting back would only make things worse.

So he stayed still.

If I fight now, I will die.

The woman with the bow stepped closer. Her long ears twitched slightly as she studied him. Her eyes were calm, but there was no warmth in them.

"Tie him properly," she said. "I can feel foreign mana on him."

The vines tightened. His mana flow weakened, like a door slowly closing.

Even elves fear outsiders this much.

They dragged him deeper into the forest. Strange symbols glowed faintly on the trees they passed. The air grew heavier with every step.

This forest was not just land.

It was guarded.

"Where are you taking me?" Elean asked.

"To our goddess," the woman replied. "Do not lie. Do not resist."

Elean let out a quiet breath.

Looks like learning elven healing won't be easy.

She paused and looked again at the Dark Elf illustrated in the manga.

She had heard of elves from the Western Wildlands, but this was her first time seeing one like this.

Dark skin. Sharp eyes. A presence that felt heavy even on paper.

Did the store owner create this race just for the story?

She continued turning the pages.

On the other side of the store, inside Raeshan's mind, a cold mechanical voice echoed.

Raeshan glanced at the system window.

A bored smile appeared on his face.
