Chapter 22 - Chapter 23 Conspiracy

The Night Princess Society, situated in the bustling city center, occupied a vast area with elegant and exquisite architecture, exuding a strong artistic atmosphere.

Was this just an ordinary luxury art gallery?

  Did it hide some secret?

Aoki had barely stood there for a minute when two men approached him, blocking his view. Their expressions were cold, their tone laced with threat.

"This is private property, no approaching!"

"Leave immediately, or we will take coercive measures!"

Aoki didn't insist, glanced at the two men, and turned to leave.

Such vigilance only aroused his suspicion.

However, it was already dawn, inconvenient to act; he would come back at night.

Aoki didn't return to the dojo; instead, he found a secluded spot outside the city and began training.

Although he wasn't at the dojo, his legend circulated throughout.

A day passed, and the students of Aoki's dojo still vividly remembered the brutal yet magnificent "Storm."

Two students gathered together, discussing it heatedly.

"After going back, I tried many times, but I couldn't even get it as smooth as Aomura's. My hands and feet often clashed!"

"Hehehe, I didn't bother. Yesterday I asked my senior brother, and he said that move requires extremely high levels of coordination, flexibility, and understanding of the Aoki style. It's not something an ordinary person can learn."

"Oh, what a pity! That move was so cool, it's my dream move!"

Suddenly, both of them shut up.

Fujita Nariyuki walked past with a gloomy expression.

After he was gone, the two students looked at each other, their expressions turning strange.

"I thought he was too ashamed to come to the dojo."

"Don't say that. In the end, it was just a training match!

But I heard something else interesting. Apparently, they made a bet yesterday, and Fujita Nariyuki bet that the fight would end within 30 seconds."

"Hahaha, he bet right, and won a lot of money. But, it's said that when he got the money, his face looked worse than if he'd swallowed a fly."

  "Damn it!"

Fujita Nariyuki punched the training dummy, his expression ferocious and furious.

No matter where he went, he could hear people discussing yesterday's battle.

He felt like he'd been slapped again and again, his face was about to be smashed.

He wanted to treat that battle as a normal training match, but those bastards kept talking and talking, and looking at him with strange eyes.

Seeing their faces, he wanted to rush up and stomp them to pieces!

Of course, he hated that bastard Aomura the most!

It was all that bastard's fault for hiding his strength and using weird tricks, that he lost so badly! That he became the laughing stock of everyone!

The other guys next to him looked a little embarrassed.

They'd boasted too much yesterday, and lost too badly, now anything they said sounded like mockery.

A horse-faced youth pondered for a while and said, "Nariyuki, should we teach him a lesson?" Fujita

Nariyuki's face was ashen: "How do we teach him a lesson? A sneak attack? Or a group beating?"

Clearly, he had not only considered this question but also the specific methods.

The horse-faced youth shook his head: "Tsk tsk, that's so boring! Of course, we'll beat him up, but we'll do it openly and honestly!"

  "You have a plan?"

Fujita Nariyuki's face remained grim, but his expression became serious.

The others also looked over curiously.

The horse-faced youth sneered, "Isn't there a legend about ghosts eating people? Let's just pin the blame on Qingcun and spread the word that Qingcun is the man-eating ghost!"

Fujita Nariyuki frowned and said, "Even if we spread the word, I doubt many people will believe it, right?"

The horse-faced youth was full of confidence: "That's easy! Just find more 'evidence.' Do you guys remember Qingcun's eyes?"

Everyone nodded. They not only remembered them, but they remembered them very well.

The horse-faced youth said, "We'll tell you, those eyes are a sign of a ghost! Besides, Aomura always wears a straw hat, hiding his identity!"

The person next to him hesitated, "I heard he wears the hat because he has a skin condition and can't be in the sun!"

The horse-faced youth said, "You idiot! I don't care what his real reason for wearing the hat is, what matters is what's best for us!

Who can tell the truth? As long as someone suspects it, that's enough!

We don't really need to prove he's a ghost. As long as the rumors spread, we can find an excuse to confront him. Whether we beat him up or something else, it's still up to us!"

  Fujita Nariyuki's eyes gradually brightened.

  This was a great idea!

Not only could they beat that bastard to a pulp and vent their anger, but they could also thoroughly disgust him!

The horse-faced youth's train of thought became increasingly clear: "Yesterday's battle can also be used as a basis for discussion. Why does Aoki have such powerful techniques? Because he's a demon!

Right, Aomura only recently joined the dojo, so why is he so strong? It's all because he's a demon!

Hahaha, with so much evidence, no one's afraid of not believing us!"

Fujita Nariyuki sneered: "Let's do it! However, this isn't convincing enough. I'll go find my uncle; he's the manager of Fujita Steel Company, with extensive connections. I'll have him find two policemen to help me catch the demon!"

The horse-faced youth grinned sinisterly: "Then let's just throw him in jail and give him a lesson he'll never forget!"

The person next to him gasped: "Hiss! Isn't that a bit too harsh? I've heard that these days, even if you don't die in jail, you'll be skinned alive!"

The horse-faced youth shrugged: "What does that have to do with us? He's a demon, isn't it better for him to be locked up?"

  ...

Akiyama Keisuke frowned, his face somewhat grim, and hurried towards the dojo.

Things were a bit troublesome; he needed to inform his master as soon as possible.

Upon reaching the entrance, he saw a girl with unusually colored hair lingering there. He approached and asked, "Miss Kanroji, is there anything I can help you with?"

Kanroji Mitsuri's eyes lit up. "Could you please call Mr. Aomura for me?"

  Sure enough.

He remembered that this Miss Kanroji had come looking for Aomura yesterday.

Akiyama Keisuke quickly replied, "Aomura isn't at the dojo right now."

  "Is that so?"

  Kanroji Mitsuri looked disappointed.

Akiyama Keisuke continued, "Also, something happened at the dojo today that's not good for Aomura. Miss Kanroji, if you see Aomura, please tell him not to return to the dojo for the time being!"

The rumor that "Aomura is a wicked devil" had somehow spread. He didn't believe it at first and didn't take it seriously.

However, the police suddenly arrived, specifically naming Aomura for arrest.

Things quickly spiraled out of control.

"Please, Miss Kanroji, if you see Junior Brother Aomura, please be sure to pass on my message! I have other matters to attend to and must return to the dojo."

Akiyama Keisuke bowed slightly and hurried away.

  "What exactly happened?"

Kanroji Mitsuri's face showed worry as she glanced towards Aoki's dojo before turning and leaving.
