Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Aoki Style

  The next day.

Aoki officially began learning the "Aoki Style."

However, he did not see Mizuno Kengo.

"Junior Brother Aomura, I will first teach you the basic moves of the Aoki Style. After you have mastered them, Master will personally guide you,"

  said Akiyama Keisuke.

After Aoki officially joined the dojo, he changed his form of address.

  "I understand."

The beginner and advanced classes were easy for Aoki to understand.

Besides him, there were five other people in the beginner class, who should have already known about this situation and did not express any objections.

Akiyama Keisuke hesitated for a moment and pointed to Aoki's straw hat: "Junior Brother Aomura, won't wearing this affect your practice?"

"I have a skin condition and can't be exposed to sunlight," Aoki calmly explained.

Akiyama Keisuke was stunned and quickly apologized.

  "I'm sorry, Junior Brother Aomura!"

"It's alright." Aoki waved his hand: "Senior Brother, don't worry about me. I will memorize the moves first and practice them myself when I get back to my room!"

Akiyama Keisuke thought for a while, nodded, and said nothing more.

His skill level was quite good; his moves were standard, and his transitions were smooth, clearly demonstrating that he had grasped some of the essence of the Aoki style.

Aoki watched, practicing in his mind, and attempting to break down and recombine the moves.

After class, he went straight back to his room, intending to start practicing immediately while his memory was still sharp.

But before he could begin, there was a knock at the door.

Aoki went to open it and found it was Akiyama Keisuke. Surprised, he asked, "What is it, Keisuke-senpai?"

"Aomura-kun, do you have time this afternoon?" Akiyama Keisuke asked.

Aoki shook his head: "I'm preparing to practice the moves I learned earlier. Is there anything I can help you with, Keisuke-senpai?"

Keisuke Akiyama breathed a sigh of relief, a smile appearing on his honest face: "That's perfect. I'll teach you after lunch."

Aoki said, "Senior Keisuke, there's no need for that."

His 13 points of intelligence granted him a thinking speed and memory far exceeding that of ordinary people, making it easy for him to recall those moves.

Keisuke Akiyama's attitude was firm: "Since you've come to our dojo to learn, we have a responsibility to teach you. It's our duty!

Besides, your willingness to join the dojo now has already helped me a lot!"

"Then I'll have to trouble Senior Keisuke!"

  Aoki didn't refuse again.

Having someone to teach him was definitely better.

This guy with thick eyebrows and big eyes really was a very honest person!

  In the afternoon,

  Keisuke Akiyama arrived as promised.

One taught, the other learned, and time flew by. In the blink of an eye, it was evening.

Half of the sun had sunk into the sea of sky, and the brilliant sunset dyed the sky red.

Aoki practiced the basic moves of the Aoki-ryu style, swift and fluid, his movements precise, without the slightest trace of a beginner's awkwardness.

After he finished practicing once, Keisuke Akiyama immediately went over excitedly.

"Junior Brother Aomura, I knew I wasn't wrong! You are indeed a super genius of the Aoki style!"

"Senior Brother Keisuke, you flatter me." Aoki was also in a good mood.

The Aoki style was indeed very suitable for him.

He had been thinking about how to build his own combat system.

Unlike swordsmen, who could develop their skills around breathing techniques, demons had vastly different characteristics and abilities. There was no universal development path; one could only summarize, generalize, and create a combat method that suited oneself.

Aoki had never had a clear idea.

After mastering the Aoki style, he immediately realized that this path was perfect for him.

The extremely high compatibility, combined with strong intelligence and good agility, resulted in an exceptionally outstanding talent.

He learned the Aoki style at a rapid pace.

Choosing to join the Aoki Dojo was, by sheer chance, a very correct decision.

Akiyama Keisuke didn't linger; after agreeing on a lesson time for the next day, he took his leave and hurried to his master's residence.

He had barely entered when he found his master staring at a painting.

It was a portrait of his fiancée.

Mizuno Kengo closed the painting: "Keisuke, what brings you here? Is something the matter?"

Akiyama Keisuke's mood also darkened: "Master, the new junior brother Aomura is exceptionally talented! He's practically the most talented I've ever seen. Do you think we should accept him as a disciple?"

Mizuno Kengo's expression became more serious. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Observe him for a while."

Not only his talent, but also his character.

Formal disciples are different from ordinary students; the choice must be made carefully.

Akiyama Keisuke naturally understood this, bowing his head and saying, "I understand."

After a moment of silence, he couldn't help but ask, "Master, is there still no news of my junior sister?"

Mizuno Kengo slowly shook his head, his straight back suddenly hunching slightly.

In the days that followed, Aoki devoted most of his energy to his studies.

As a demon, he didn't need sleep. With proper nutrition, his stamina was almost limitless. As long as his spirit could hold up, he could keep learning and training.

His diligent efforts and outstanding talent allowed him to rapidly master and understand the basic techniques and principles of the Aoki-ryu style. He

even had to hold back his skills to avoid frightening Akiyama Keisuke.

  ...

  "Another girl has gone missing?"

Aoki still set aside some time each day to search for demons, and also to relax.

  He still had no luck.

Meanwhile, people continued to go missing.

  "Yes."

Akiyama Keisuke's honest face was filled with anger as he gritted his teeth and said, "As far as I know, it's a girl who's getting married in a couple of days!"

  "How arrogant!" Aoki muttered.

Even Gyutaro and Daki used the brothel as cover to eat people. Just who was this demon to dare to be so brazen?

Besides, why couldn't he find any trace of him?

"Aomura, we're planning to go to an izakaya for a couple of drinks. Do you want to come along?"

  Aoki's thoughts were interrupted.

"Alright, you guys go ahead, I have something to do today."

"Are you still going to practice? Aomura, you're really hardworking."

"I started late, so I can only put in more effort. Be careful."

  Aoki waved goodbye to them.

Spending every day together, he naturally became familiar with the others.

Although they weren't particularly close, there were no conflicts either.

Leaving the dojo, Aoki headed straight out of the city.

Today he was going to practice outdoors. He

could practice indoors, but he had to be very careful to control his power.

This had its advantages, such as training his control over his strength.

However, it was also very necessary to familiarize himself with his full power.

Finding a secluded corner, Aoki activated "Spatial Teleportation," and after several teleportations, he appeared in a dense forest.

The dense trees completely blocked out the sunlight, and the interior of the forest was quiet and dark, like two different worlds from the outside.

The ground was littered with rubble and broken trees, looking like a mess.

Aoki took off his sun hat, untied his ghost wine gourd, tightened his cuffs, and walked towards a boulder covered with fist marks.
