"Logan, don't go too far!"
Smoker shouted angrily, veins bulging on his forehead.
"If I hadn't woken up in time, you would've ruined my operation—ah—!"
Before he could finish, Logan casually lifted the massive Seastone greatsword and smacked Smoker straight on the head.
Thud.
Smoker rolled his eyes and collapsed instantly, unconscious once more.
Luffy scrambled to his feet, bursting into laughter.
"Ahahaha! Logan, it's you again! You saved me again!"
"Man, that smoky guy is really strong!"
"He's nothing," Logan replied flatly.
"You're the Sun God, remember?"
Without waiting for a response, Logan grabbed Luffy and pulled him onto Kinto'un.
"We need to find Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp right now. You all have to get back to the ship—if you're late, the storm will sweep it away."
"Got it, Logan!" Luffy replied excitedly, though he muttered to himself,
"Sun God… what does that even mean?"
They shot through the storm. Once Logan spotted the others, Luffy stretched his arms and yanked each of them onto the cloud.
When everyone was gathered, Logan glanced back at the plaza.
Buggy and his crew were still tied up.
With a casual slash, a blade of sword energy cut through the ropes.
Let things get a little more chaotic, Logan thought. It'll make their escape easier.
A streak of golden light crossed the sky as Logan carried them toward the shore.
The Going Merry, once docked safely, had already been blown out to sea.
Only Nami remained aboard, desperately trying to adjust the sails—but the storm was far too violent.
"Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp… Nami—take care of yourselves!"
Logan spoke quickly, then threw them straight down from the sky.
Sanji barely managed to adjust his fall using his still-awkward Sky Walk, while the others crashed clumsily onto the deck.
"You bastard, Logan!" Usopp shouted angrily.
"Next time I see you, I'm getting revenge!"
Zoro clasped his fists toward the sky—no words needed.
Luffy bounced around like rubber, rolling several times before finally stopping.
By the time he looked up, Logan was already gone.
High above, Logan stood alone on Kinto'un, watching the Going Merry shrink into the stormy sea.
Lightning split the sky. Wind and rain howled.
Logan closed his eyes and felt the wind.
A west wind…
"A good wind lifts a man to the clouds."
He smiled faintly.
No father in this world would ever abandon his child.
"Go, Luffy," Logan murmured.
"No one can stop a man from chasing his dream."
"System—send me to the next mission location."
[Acknowledged.]
The golden light vanished abruptly from the storm-filled sky, leaving only rain behind.
Baltigo
Revolutionary Army Headquarters
Clear skies. Gentle sunlight.
A world completely different from Loguetown.
There were no trees, no grass—only vast stretches of pale white terrain, like snow-covered land.
A dull boom echoed through the air.
Logan fell from the sky, smashing into the ground and leaving a deep crater.
He stood up, brushing white dust from his clothes.
"So this is the Revolutionary Army's headquarters…"
He leapt onto a massive rock and scanned the surroundings.
Not far away—movement.
Before a towering white boulder stood a young man and a young woman.
The young man's hand formed a claw—a dragon's claw.
He struck.
BOOM!
The massive stone shattered instantly, fragments flying everywhere as dust engulfed both figures.
When the dust cleared, they emerged.
They were around seventeen or eighteen.
The boy wore a black suit and a tall top hat, holding a metal pipe in his left hand.
He was handsome, with slightly curled blond hair and a faint scar beneath his left eye—adding a mature edge beyond his years.
The girl was slender, wearing a red beret with goggles. Her round face and slight baby fat made her look cheerful and lively.
"Sabo," the girl said sincerely, eyes shining.
"At your age, you're probably the strongest among your peers."
This wasn't flattery.
At just eighteen, he had already become the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army—second only to Dragon himself.
When Dragon was absent, all major military decisions required Sabo's approval.
Not only was he a brilliant strategist, but after nearly ten years under Dragon's guidance, his combat power had become terrifying.
Even veteran officers rarely matched him now.
Sabo twirled the metal pipe and shook his head.
"There's someone who might be stronger."
"Who?" the girl asked, unconvinced.
"My big brother," Sabo said calmly.
"His name is Logan."
"I couldn't beat him even as kids. He was stronger than me—and smarter."
"When the four of us fought over territory, he always planned the strategy."
"Ace and I patched the flaws. Luffy… well, that idiot just punched things."
"And somehow, he always got beaten the worst."
The girl relaxed, unimpressed.
"You're talking about ten years ago. That means nothing now."
"Do you have any idea how much you've endured these past ten years?"
"No one your age could keep up with you."
Sabo burst out laughing.
"Hahaha! You're right, Koala!"
"Looks like next time I see Logan, I'll have to beat him up first—just to get revenge for all the bullying."
His laughter abruptly stopped.
His eyes widened.
Koala turned slowly.
Behind her stood a white-haired young man, a slender blue-bladed sword at his waist.
"Did I hear something about you wanting to beat me up?"
