Chapter 32 - Transporting the Supplies

For a moment, everyone—including Sabo—turned to look at Logan.

Some of them didn't even know who he was yet. Their gazes were filled with confusion.

Sabo looked at Logan deeply. As the Revolutionary Army's Chief of Staff, he was intimately familiar with logistics. He didn't need time to think.

"The Eastern Front has close to ten thousand soldiers," Sabo said immediately.

"A single supply run requires at least 270,000 tons just to barely sustain them for half a month. After that, the next resupply cycle can stabilize."

He sighed.

"That amount is simply too much. Even if we used the Wind Granma, and everything went perfectly, it would still take thirteen days."

"And the Wind Granma is currently sailing in the East Blue."

On the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Ashiru seemed to grasp at a sliver of hope.

"We don't need 270,000 tons," she said urgently.

"Just 100,000 tons will be enough. Give me ten days, and I swear I can break into the capital and overthrow the Kayagato Kingdom."

Logan casually rotated the spatial ring on his finger and smiled faintly.

"I'll deliver 500,000 tons of food."

"If that's not enough, I can do a million."

"I won't need any ships."

"Give me one day, and I guarantee it arrives."

Silence.

The hall fell completely still.

Everyone stared at him as if he were insane—some even with pity in their eyes.

Has this man lost his mind?

The intelligence control officer, Terry Gilteo, stood up with a dark expression.

"Ridiculous!" he barked.

"One day? No ships?"

"Are you dreaming?"

"Sabo, who is this man? I suggest we escort him out immediately. The Revolutionary Army's command center is not a place for lunatics."

Even Koala, who had been quietly admiring Logan earlier, now looked awkward.

Sabo's big brother seems strong… but saying something like this…

"Sabo," she said carefully, "maybe I should take Brother Logan outside for a walk first…"

Sabo didn't respond right away.

He slowly removed his top hat and placed it on the table. His gaze locked onto Logan.

"Brother Logan," he asked seriously,

"Can you really do this?"

Logan turned and walked straight toward the exit of the command hall.

"Take me to the granary."

Sabo's face instantly lit up.

He followed without a single moment of hesitation.

The others exchanged looks.

They still didn't believe it—but somehow, deep down, a trace of hope had begun to take root.

Aside from the operators still manning the Den Den Mushi, the rest of the commanders followed them to the food storage site.

The Revolutionary Army's granary was hidden inside a naturally formed mountain cave, heavily guarded.

Seeing Sabo leading such a massive group of high-ranking officers, the guards immediately stood at attention, assuming a major incident had occurred.

Ten minutes later—

They arrived.

Sabo pointed at a mountain-like pile of grain.

"This pile is about 470,000 tons," he said.

"If it's inconvenient, transporting half of it would already help."

Logan smiled lightly.

"Doesn't matter. To me, fifty thousand or a million—there's no real difference."

Terry Gilteo scoffed.

"Let's see how long you keep this act up."

The other commanders stared at the mountain of supplies, unable to imagine any way this could possibly be moved.

Even Dragon himself likely couldn't do this.

Logan didn't argue.

He casually slipped his hand into his sleeve. Inside, the spatial ring began to emit a faint blue glow.

The movement was so natural that even Sabo, standing right beside him, noticed nothing.

Logan raised his other hand.

Snap.

A crisp sound echoed through the cave.

In the next instant—

The nearly 500,000 tons of food vanished.

Gone.

The ground was bare, revealing the pale stone beneath.

For several seconds, no one moved.

Eyes widened.

Mouths hung open.

Just moments ago, there had been a mountain of supplies here.

Now—nothing.

Only a few scattered grains in the corner silently testified that the food had truly existed.

Some people rubbed their eyes.

Others slapped the person beside them.

The one who got hit didn't even get angry—he threw his head back and laughed.

"It's real! It's real!"

"Our people are saved!"

The cave erupted in cheers.

At this point, no one could deny it.

Logan had spoken the truth.

Koala's eyes turned red. Tears poured out uncontrollably as she rushed forward and hugged Logan around the neck, crying even as a smile bloomed on her face.

"Thank you… I'm sorry… I didn't believe you earlier," she sobbed, like a child who had realized her mistake.

Logan gently patted her head.

"It's alright."

Then he turned to Sabo.

"To save time, I'm leaving now."

Sabo said nothing.

He simply nodded heavily.

If one man can store half a million tons of food… what question is even left to ask?

Just as Logan turned to leave, Terry Gilteo shouted behind him.

"Wait!"

Logan raised an eyebrow and smiled.

"Yes, Officer Gilteo?"

The large, bear-helmeted man stubbed out his cigarette, stepped forward, and bowed deeply.

So did every other commander.

"I was wrong," Gilteo said solemnly.

"I apologize for my ignorance."

"From today onward, you are a benefactor of the Revolutionary Army—our greatest friend."

Logan paused, then laughed and waved his hand.

"You probably don't quite understand my relationship with Sabo."

With that, he summoned the Flying Nimbus.

Before the stunned eyes of everyone present, Logan stepped onto the golden cloud and departed Baltigo once more.
