I finally reached the cafeteria, scanning for the rest of the group.
Ci-N was there, his mouth full of chips. He mumbled something, but I couldn't hear it. I just stared. He swallowed and spoke again.
"Your baby is in a bad mood. He's been eating lollipops nonstop. That's not food."
I sighed and moved toward the table.
Kiefer sat there, eyes closed, looking as annoyed as ever. Endrix and Ciel were on the other side, silently observing. Felix had gone to help with the trays.
I sat down beside Kiefer, placing my bag down, and looked at him.
My theory was right.
I leaned close and whispered, "You asleep?"
His eyes snapped open. I grinned, and he just stared back, unamused. He lifted his hand, gesturing toward the tray filled with empty lollipop sticks. Felix went over to clear it.
Kiefer muttered something about the girl.
"She's annoying," he said.
I couldn't help but smile at his childish way of saying it.
"She's always following us, even on the same row. Why?" he continued. "She even tapped me, Jay. She tapped me! And David and Huey did nothing!"
I laughed softly, shaking my head. "So… who can tap you, then?"
He looked at me with those piercing eyes. "Only you, of course."
Instantly, everyone around us started teasing him, making me blush.
Then Ciel , came over carrying a tray with two sandwiches and two juice boxes.
"Thanks," I said, taking one sandwich. I handed the other to Kiefer, and we both took a bite.
As we were eating, Endrix suddenly said, "Found her."
"Who?" I asked, confused.
"Sienna Park," he replied.
"Who?" I repeated, still unsure.
Adrian finally explained, "She's the girl we met earlier."
