Chapter Sixty – Paranormal Realm 58
"His name is Rowan," Damon said, and the edge in his voice was quiet but absolutely there.
Crestian's eyes moved to Damon briefly, then back to me.
"Sit," he said. "All three of you."
We sat.
The other six Council members were watching. Some with curiosity. Some with a careful neutrality that was harder to read. One of them, a woman near the far end with silver braids and sharp eyes, was watching me specifically with an expression I couldn't quite name.
I folded my hands on the table.
I did not let them shake.
Crestian leaned forward slightly. "We have reviewed the reports. We have spoken with Alpha Matteo. We are aware of the confirmed pregnancy." He paused. "Before we discuss any of that, I want to hear from the omega himself."
I looked at him steadily. "What do you want to know?"
"Everything," he said simply. "Start from the beginning."
I took a breath.
