JAKE THE DOG:
Before I knew the new Finn was off his bed pacing around the small apartment.
"Bro chill, there's not much we can do right now", I said trying to ease the tension.
"No this isn't about chill, Yaeger wants Finn, your Finn! For whatever reason that may be but with that fact alone, the way I see it…he's the most important person in our multiverse right now".
"Alright then what do we do??", Simon asked.
"We need t-". Knocking? The new Finn was caught off by knocking?? But who would knock on a house in the middle of nowhere.
How would anyone even reach here, this blizzards are unfit for anyone to live.
"Hey Finn! Great to see you again", a voice outside said, the wooden door and blizzard acting almost like a noise suppressor.
I looked back at him but he looked pale, scared even. "We…we need to leave".
"Huh??"
"Come on Finn! We know your here! We just need to return some of your team's corpses, have a little chat".
"We need to run!", he bellowed.
Thinking quick on my feet, I grabbed both of them and bashed through the walls infront of us.
The cold snow burnt as it touched us but it was't the only thing that burnt. BOOM!! Less than ten yards from the house and it exploded in a violet heap of flames.
The shockwave pushed me and everyone else off our feet, I managed to hold onto the two humans and land, turning back to see two people standing beside the house in black cloaks.
"These are Yeager's men, we have to run…even you can't take them", the alternate Finn cried.
"It's not like they'll just let us leave, as you can see they're out for blood".
"I've been pissed off for a while now, so let's show them a good time".
FINN MERTENS:
Flame Princess, when was the last time I saw her. She didn't even come for my birthday party, not like I blame her or anything but it would have been nice to see her.
She was wearing a slim battle armour, her hair had grown a bit, now going down to her waist. She looked beautiful even after all this time.
"Where are we??", I said while looking around trying to not keep staring at her.
"Still in the dunes, I found you lying beside some giant monster".
"Oh yeah", I muttered, almost on cue, the pain from my battle surged through me all at once.
My face contorted as my body punished me for my battle, noticing this she said, "You should get some rest, you were in pretty bad shape when I and the rest of my squad found you".
"Yeah thanks but I still don't know what happened".
"It's called the Merge, some sicko named Yaeger or something combined the universes together or something".
"How's that even possible??".
"Beats me but it's really made everything crazy, I work for the Intergalactic Federation. We've been looking for you Finn, I've been looking for you. I was worried".
Her words hit me a bit hard but I tried not to let it show, "Hasn't it only been three days??".
"For you, time worked differently when the merge happened. There are a bunch of rifts in reality and everyone basically spawned in random places, I was one of the first though".
"How long??".
"Eight months, I think".
"Woah!".
"Yeah, I'm glad the federation found me, their technology is great…well that's to be expected when it's your mom at the head of it".
"She even made me this battle suit so now depending on what I touch, I can control my burning effect. It's not perfect but at least now I can touch small objects with no damage".
"Wow, that's impressive…I'm happy for you but there's something I've been meaning to ask".
I took a pause and then asked, "I haven't heard you say anything about Jake, is he with you guys?".
She shook her head softly, "That's one of the people I've been looking for, most people have been found at least those that are alive but nothing on Jake, Simon, PB and Marceline".
"Fuck", I said, laying back and staring at the night sky.
"How did you survive??".
"I don't even know, it was…it…".
"Wasn't easy, the whole flame kingdom was…destroyed. I lost so many of my people…I lost my father, I lost Cinnamon Bun…I lost everything".
Heavy silence followed, she gazed down to the sand below her almost studying it. I didn't know what to say but I knew I had to do something.
I unzipped my sleeping bag, withstanding any pain from my bandaged wounds and sat beside her.
I gave her a big hug, the blue tinted fire resistance doing its job perfectly, no words were spoken, I just hugged her and stayed in the silence of the night.
After a few minutes though, she sat upright and gave me a deep hug, naturally I reciprocated. Then she stopped and got up.
"I need to use the bathroom, try and get some sleep", she said, her face turning away from me.
Then she walked a bit and stopped, turning a bit to me, I noticed a flash of extra crimson on her cheeks as she say, "Finn…thank you".
She walked off, farther than her fire could lit up and I got back into the sleeping bag.
I took a deep sigh, as I gazed into the yellow moon. I gotta find Jake soon, no matter what.

I woke up a few hours later, sun barely creeping through. Flame Princess, laid beside me? She had removed the top half of her armour leaving her rather curvy body visible.
Not to mention her breasts that were covered with only a bra shirt, I noticed her waking up so I quickly shut my eyes and let her get up first.
After a few minutes, I faked my waking up and turned to her, who was already standing.
"Good morning!".
"Good morning", she replied while turning to face me before going to her chest plate and picking out a pack of something before tossing it to me.
"Eat up, it isn't much but it's something. Sorry I didn't give it to you yesterday, kinda forgot".
"It's fine, I wasn't feeling too hungry anyways".
"Also I got few clothes from that junkyard where I found you", she said while pointing to a couple clothes.
"Your flame control has gotten way better", I complimented.
"It wasn't still an easy task".
"Follow me, there's an oasis up ahead".
Taking my new clothes in one hand and munching on some dry jerky in the other, we began walking to the oasis.
I scanned more and more around this vast desert and asked, "How'd you even get here??".
"All squads usually have these ships they carry".
"Yeah but the distance though".
"Well, the rifts that happen can be used to teleport from one side of the, should I say multiverse? To the other in the blink of an eye".
"While most electronics are still bugged, my squad's with the ship now. They should be back sometime soon, they've already relayed the information that we've found you".
When we finally reached it, I went to the bank of the lake and knelt down before using my hands to drink some water.
Then an idea came across my head but safe to say i didn't know how to phrase it best.
"Uhm Flame Princess", I said nervously. "Can I get some time to…you know, have a bath".
"Oh…uhh, sure! Why not", she said awkwardly.
"I'll go check around", she said before tossing
With that she walked off, after making sure she was a bit far from me I took off my dirty and tattered clothes.
Taking some time especially to remove the bandages she put on for me, there was some on my left shin, my head and across my torso especially below my right shoulder where the rod had struck through me.
The wound had become a bit darkened and gotten a tad bit smaller but still throbbed nonetheless.
After taking everything off, I gazed at the water and saw my reflection gaze back. I slicked my hair back, thinking fondly of where my bear hat could be and even my green bag.
"I'm thinking too much", I muttered before diving into the water.
When I finished, I reapplied some of the bandages and wore my new set of clothes. A pair of place shorts which reached my knees along with a tight black Long sleeved shirt which was all the more complimented after I put the strap of my black sword over my shoulder.
I've really been enjoying my time with Flame Princess, it feels really nice. It's not like we're on a date or anything but having her beside me, kinda calms me down.
BOOM!!
Off to my right, a fire ball erupted, launching dust sand and door into the air.
I rushed over there, not minding any pain from my unhealed injuries. Far off to my front, I saw the back of a man in a black cloak, immediately unsheathing my sword, I jumped to attack when an other cloaked person blitz towards me knocking me back.
I landed firmly and stood tall to fight but then my Earth almost shattered, the man behind turned to look at me and that's when I saw her.
Flame Princess stabbed in the gut by the man's hand, she looked back at me with a worried look and yelled, "Run".
