Professor X quietly altered the thinking of humanity's highest authorities, and with that, the Cold War came to an end.
The world entered an era of rapid development.
After the Cold War crisis was resolved, Professor X requested to leave the Mutant Evolution House. Lancelot agreed without hesitation.
Among all the mutants who had participated in the first battle, Professor X was the only one not controlled by Geass. To Lancelot, he was an unstable variable.
Thus, Lancelot allowed him to return to Xavier's School.
After Professor X, only Wolverine—Logan—remained.
Although Logan had already been controlled by Lancelot, when he expressed his desire to leave together with Professor X, Lancelot did not stop him.
On one hand, Wolverine no longer posed any threat.
On the other, Lancelot still needed Logan to open the path to the "Days of Future Past" era.
After Professor X and Logan left, the Mutant Evolution House entered a phase of explosive growth.
In just one month, Lancelot completely took control of nearly 790 top Soviet scientists.
During that same month, he mobilized all KGB agents worldwide to search for Bolivar Trask, but found nothing.
Lancelot concluded that this was likely because the Days of Future Past (1974) storyline was still ten years away.
As a result, he temporarily abandoned the search for Trask and focused entirely on building the Evolution House.
Two months later, in New York, a biotech company named Evolution Glory was established. It quickly released antibiotics capable of treating multiple diseases.
Once launched, Evolution Glory's products swept across the United States and rapidly turned the company into a biomedical giant.
Three months later, Evolution Glory had expanded globally. Backed by massive financial resources, Lancelot's Mutant Evolution House grew at an astonishing pace.
Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, one year was gone.
"1963… time is moving far too slowly."
Lancelot sat atop the highest level of the Siberian Evolution House, overlooking the massive base below.
What had once been an empty facility was now bustling with life—thousands of mutants, tens of thousands of scientists and soldiers.
"Azazel."
As Lancelot spoke calmly, red mist erupted behind him. The red-skinned demon appeared instantly.
"My King, give your command."
Azazel knelt on one knee respectfully.
"Take me to Antarctica."
The red mist flashed again.
At the heart of Antarctica—the coldest place on Earth—a special patrol unit was on duty.
They were shirtless, their skin blue, their physiques powerful. Even in the extreme cold, they laughed and chatted casually.
Boom.
Red smoke appeared, and Lancelot stepped out.
"Long live the King!"
The soldiers immediately knelt.
"Rise."
Lancelot looked at them with satisfaction.
This was an adaptive army created by the Evolution House—the Extreme Cold Legion.
Every soldier had been injected with an anti-freeze factor developed by Darwin. Their skin turned blue as a mutation, perfectly preserving body heat.
They called themselves the Warriors of Jotunheim.
And units with similar extreme adaptability existed across the globe.
"Did you find it?" Lancelot asked as he walked toward the central area.
There, Darwin stood radiating blue light, his body perfectly adapted to the environment.
"My King, we found the Valkyrie aircraft—but the person you were looking for isn't inside."
Darwin's body emitted heat, pushing away the cold around Lancelot.
"Already gone from the ice, huh…"
Lancelot stepped forward. Beneath the excavated ice lay a highly advanced aircraft—the Valkyrie, once piloted by Red Skull.
During World War II, Captain America had crashed this plane into Antarctica and was frozen inside.
According to history, S.H.I.E.L.D. would later discover it and awaken him.
But now—there was no Steve Rogers inside.
"Seal this area. Captain America is my problem now."
Lancelot smiled faintly.
He knew exactly where he was.
This was a fusion of the MCU and the X-Men universe—and both shared one disgusting flaw:
Time travel.
Days of Future Past.
Avengers: Endgame.
Coincidentally, both culminated in 2023.
Which meant when mutants traveled back to 1974, it overlapped with the Avengers time-traveling to confront Thanos.
"Travel to the past. Rewrite the future."
Lancelot sneered.
"I hope my universe isn't destroyed by those Avengers idiots."
It was now 1963—eleven years before the timeline shift.
"System, initiate the Pupil Surgery Lottery."
Lancelot hadn't drawn once in an entire year.
